Cons: The stand seems a bit unstable

Pros: BigClearFast
Comment:
Bought the exact same monitor but in a smaller format (24inches).You can't go wrong with this monitor, wait until the price goes down a bit and it's perfect ! Fast & responsive, this monitor is perfect for HD Gaming !

Pros: Simply perfect
Comment:
This is an excellent monitor especially for the price. Replaced my asus 23 inch and couldnt be happier. Crisp picture, handy remote for switching inputs and very nice looking on top of that. I would buy again and fully recommend.

Cons: - Really bad ghosting- Terrible for games or movies

Pros: - Bright, crisp screen- All the inputs you'll ever need- Very nice look- Size and price
Comment:
Basically, this monitor is awesome if you don't plan to watch movies or game with it. The picture is very crisp and quite adjustable. Couldn't be happier with it for school work or just regular things with my computer.Where this screen seriously lacks, is response time. Just moving windows around, you'll notice the ghosting. Playing movies or games is awful; it hurts the eyes with how bad the ghosting is.For this reason, if you want it for gaming or movies I would highly recommend to look elsewhere. Otherwise, this monitor will do you well.

Cons: None.

Pros: Absolutely gorgeous panel. Decent build quality.
Comment:
I've used several highly rated monitors but none of then compare favorably to this one. The A-MVA panel is absolutely gorgeous in daily use. I needed the large size due to some eyesight issues that can't be corrected with glasses. Gamers may whine about the slightly below average response time and graphics professionals may nit pick about slight imperfections in colour accuracy but... this is the perfect monitor for the rest of us.

Cons: Pixel response is closer to 25 milliseconds.

Pros: Good color reproduction, decent viewing angles, very bright. Better contrast levels then my IPS monitor.
Comment:
I'm comparing this to my IPS monitor (Dell U2311) and a generic TN panel. The blacks are the best I've ever seen on any LCD type display. It's also incredibly bright.Playing FPS games is fine in terms of pixel response, but the IPS monitor does a better job there. In general, I prefer this monitor to the Dell U2311 (ignoring the size difference).

Cons: none

Pros: good panel,no dead pixels, no problems
Comment:
I used the settings for the EW 2420 from TFT Central to calibrate the panel. I found these worked pretty well with a few adjustments for my personal preferences. I like the numerous inputs as I have it connected to a Bell TV HD receiver and two computers. The picture looks great on all three. I like having a remote although it is a little slow. It also came with a HDMI cable although I didn't need it.

Cons: too bright out of the box., colour temperature is off too but can be adjusted

Pros: Good resolution, NO heat, no color shift when looking from one side of the screen to the other
Comment:
For about $375 you can getyourself a VA panel monitor that looks too bright out of the box but once set-up it looks great. Nice and uniform colors across the screen A TN panel can't do that. And the whole thing stays cool because of the LED backlight. Try it , you'll like it. The IPV panel alternative is way over $1200 :(

Cons: Color shifting, first thing I noticed on this monitor which is a weakness of the MVA panels. When looking dead center of the monitor you can clearly see the shifting of colors to the edge of the monitor. Moving your eyes right in front of the edge of the monirot and you see the shifting moved to the center and worsen to the other edge. Not a deal breaker but noticeable.OSD popup in the center of the monitor each time the monitor switch from native resolution to non native resolution. This can be fixed by setting your video card to take care of the resolution instead of letting the monitor do the job.You might notice slight blurring in fast paced game.

Pros: Brightness. The monitor can offer brightness beyond anything I've seen on other monitors. I reduced mine to 50% and it is bright enough.Contrast is outstanding, blacks are rich and colors rendering are more than good and better than my Samsung TN panel.
Comment:
Pure gammers might not like the monitor, it is not as fast as a 2 ms TN pannel but colors, brightness and contrast are much better than its TN counterpart.Purists might not like MVA's color shifting which this monitor clearly suffers but you're getting used to if you're not looking for it.Bottom line, cheaper than IPS pannel but much better than TN pannel as far as image quality but a bit slower. If you are looking for image perfection, pay twice this price and go with IPS pannel. If you are looking for the fastest at the cost of image quality, go with the TN pannel. If you are looking for a very good 27 inches monitor, good image quality and acceptable performance at a fair price, than you won't be disapointed with this monitor.I suggest you take some time to read about pannels, TN, VA, IPS, advantages of the ones on the others, that might really help you decide based on your needs. There is a certain amount of REFLECTION from the surfaces.select  a not too bright area because you may see the reflection. The CD is easy to use and understand. For WIN XP, I had to find the drivers. I KNOW....I still run XP.The REMOTE CONTROL is a blessing. Real nice touch there BENQ.I only used the AUTO button once on the monitor itself to auto-refresh/adjust the screen. I did not have to use the other buttons that are on the side of the monitor (I used the remote control). When changing resolution a small screen reminds you of the best resolution IGNORE IT. I am using 1600x900. OLD EYES !
