Cons: none

Pros: works fine, good value
Comment:
Gigabit would have been nice, but I was just using this to break-out my cable modem connection to two routers so it wouldn't have helped anyway.I bought a refurbished unit to save a bit more, no complaints it is just like new only less warranty. This unit mimics the style of my other Linksys gear, tops the stack of WRT54GLs nicely. The refurb unit I got was actually all black not blue as the routers and photo above is. It has all the LEDs you'd expect for link status and activity. The power adapter is one of the nicer sideways ones. It's a switch, it works, enough said.

Cons: might want to consider a router, and connect these to expand your lan

Pros: five additional ports on my network, router came with only four
Comment:
works well out of the box no work or options to configure, I bought two to expand my lan from the existing four ports on my router

Cons: +Makes annoying high pitch noise, hard to sleep at night with it on lol+Gets hot+High collision rate with more than 3 devices.

Pros: +Cheap+Worked good for a year
Comment:
I bought this switch about a year ago, It is still working to this day with some minor problems, Gets hot sometimes, but my main complaint is that annoying high pitch noise it makes, u cant really hear it until the room is dead quiet but its annoying to say the least. I wouldnt recomend this product if your hooking up more than 3 devices, it seems to have errors from time to time the more connections u put on it. Bought 2 r $13 used mainly for streaming media to consoles and XBOX live internet access. Work great no complaints at all. Note: picture is of an older model these are the new all-black version (http://www.linksysbycisco.com/US/en/products/EZXS55W).

Cons: Likely cannot survive beating with a hammer

Pros: Works as advertisedCheap
Comment:
Purchased two for $12. Great way to expand my home network, which is laughably simple and basic. Hooked it up, plugged it in, and it works without any care required. Would definitely buy again. I have not had to beat with a hammer, but as soon as it acts up I may be tempted. At such a price, why not enjoy yourself?

J'ai acheté cette switch pour ajouter des ports ethernet à mon router. Ca fonctionne bien et sur mon router sans Fil Linksys WRT54GL. Un bon achat à considérer.

This may be old technology, however, it works just great. Got a couple of these on sale on different occasions. Auto-sensing, i.e. no setup needed. Recommended.

Cons: The price i paid it :(

Pros: Plug and play, fast, keep cool
Comment:
This switch is pretty good, I can get it now for around 20$ but i paid it like 50$ when it cames to our markets. If you are someone that want to make a little lan or split your internet connection with 4 other computers, this switch is for you.Don't even buy it over 30$.I'm pretty sure you can price match this item for around 20-25$.

Cons: None

Pros: Simple Setup. Works flawlessly.
Comment:
This product is flawless. I am running a 3 computer network at home and with the product I have had zero problems with stable connections and networking. I first tried the Microsoft Wireless network hub which was garbage. Then tried the D-Link 5 port switch, which was also garbage. It kept losing the internet connections and thus needed to be reset all the time. This has worked perfectly as soon as all the comps were plugged in.Highly recommend!

Cons: -a little more expensive than other brands

Pros: -very compact, fits in a hand-rubber feet, so it doesn't slide around and scratch your case-goes with your telus adsl model (stack them for DOUBLE the fun, or get several of them and play jenga :P)-Very fast-Virtually no set up (plug in the right cables and you're ready to go)-Helpful manuals-Linksys warranty-Packaged nicely, so don't worry about it getting hurt -Five ports
Comment:
I'm using this to connect my main PC to a linux box without a monitor and an xbox. No problems whatsoever. Setup could not have been easier. You'll probably end up paying more for the cables (unless you order from NCIX :) ) than this switch. It's perfect for making mini-LAN parties with PCs or Xbox's.

Cons: none

Pros: CheapNo problems with gaming, internet
Comment:
ive had this splitting 2 computers for a year or 2 and ive had no problems whatsoever. It did the job until my sister wanted internet and we only had 2 IP's so we needed a router. While i had this, i loved it and actually prefer it over the dlink di604 if it wasnt for the need of an IP address.

Cons: -high collisions-only 4 ports

Pros: -small-versatile
Comment:
This hub is very small the network cables keep all 4 legs off the desk. This is a must have for a small computer network without internet. I found it is excellent for anything. even routing internet. currently I have a network using it to divide internet into two routers. The only problem I have found is their are high amounts of collisions when using it heavily to send information from 3-4 computers at a time.only good for the small network tho
