Got these awhile back to beef up my AMD Athlon 64 4000+ system. Fantastic functionality, perform appropriate out of box with no difficulties. Comes with heat spreaders. None what so ever. Nice to know a person is nonetheless making old ram. The heatsink is a nice add-on. My Computer did acknowledged the 2GB.... ....but then all hell broke shed. My Pc crashed a number of instances on the 1st day alone. As a last resport, I swapped the G. Ability for my older Ram and, low and behold, the challenge went away.My original gripe was that this was pricey for what is old technology. This would have been a very good thought to breathe additional life in an aging Pc, had it worked. When you "upgrade" and your Pc goes unstable, it is sad when you are scrambling to have your Computer back to it's far more outdated self.Maybe a different brand would have yielded a good knowledge. Lesson discovered. For the price tag, it is pricey but a cheaper option to obtaining an entire new Pc. excellent overclockability if you bump vdimm to two.75vfollowing installing 50+ kits of these not 1 failure.lowest fail price of all ram i have dealt with..00%! overlook about putting these in your dell,emachines,ect with a stripped bios.these at times require a bump of vdimm.this function not availible in many of the significant brand pc's.not the fault of this item although.these want 2.6v and esp the dells wont do it. not significantly far more to say.as for client service i dont know.i have under no circumstances required it.

threw these sticks in an old Dell Dimension4500. 2gbs function despite the never update dell documentation. Brings life to old systems. none truly. If pondering of getting for a dell or something, i advise searching up the chipset rather than the dell documents. dell said that the dell 4500 only supports up to 1gb but 2gb performs just fine

Breathed new life into a weak and dated Dell 4600 with only 512MB of RAM None. I went with this G.Ability memory simply because a lot of reviewers with a Dell Dimension 4600 had good results with it. I agree that it functions really effectively.

Quickly RAM, Wroks great, Performs with older systems. Too high priced. Spent time upgrading an older Dell Dimension 4550. Eventually was fed up with how tiny of a method functionality enhance I was finding. Ultimately gave in and purchased a new pc. Don't maintain throwing cash at an old system. It's G-Ability from NEWEGG. Able to hold-on to an older񢉔) motherboard a small longer. Price tag is high compared to the lastest technology. Installed in an AOpen VKM400Am-s micro ATX motherboard without having a voltage adjustment (it is normal 2.5v) in CMOS setup and utilized auto detect. Ran Windows Memory Test for 60mins with out an error. Maxed out the memory timing except for CAS Latency once again ran the Windows Memory Test for 60mins with out errors. Varified the Memory Timing via the Memset program. Improved the Win7 Memory Performance by 1.two and created the feel of the program substantially superior. So the memory CAN function in a non adjustable voltage motherboard. It just depends on the motherboard.

AffordableRapidly memory Non so far Not certain what to say about it - it's memory. Quite significantly plug and play. It wasn't DOA, and it is functioning great. Apparently somewhat risky considering that my Socket 939 mobo is supposed to be somewhat onerous with dissimilar sets of RAM, but I fired it up and, bingo, three GB of RAM, pretty as you please. Brings new life to the old box and now I can actually get brave and load Win 7 onto it.However again, kudos to NewEgg - you guys just do every little thing suitable - selection, price tag, packing, delivery.
