Can't assume of any... oh yea, I got use out of it for two days. I built a new technique and it worked fine for about two days. Then I began obtaining BSOD. Great price tag, heat spreader, awesome blue color. Bought 4 sticks of G.Skill F3-10600CL8D-2GBHK for new develop. Immediately ran into difficulty right after installing Win XP SP3. Knowledgeable installation failures loading ASUS MB support drivers. Catalyst failed installation, causing quite a few exception errors, DEP errors crashing Windows Explorer and Dr. Watson Debugger. Windows would crash sometimes, though just idling with no inputs when the screen saver came up. Extremely fantastic ram so far. Has some fantastic overclocking head space. Blue heatsinks look awesome.. Heat spreaders could be a bit more solid, they look to be lightweight. I've got this ram operating up to 1700 mhz. This, collectively with my Q6700 @ 3.6, p5k3 mobo, 8800gts, silverstone 750 watt psu, antec 900 case....tends to make for an great, fast setup. |

It's DDR3...Overclocks properly and I've had it operating at 1600 Mhz or so, even though I've because set it back to practically stock because I have no want to overclock right now. While I have read that at this point there is not a lot benefit to DDR3 I don't seriously believe that due to the fact the bus speed is so much larger, but then again you can get far more clock cycles out of DDR2. Do your personal investigation. I have an ASUS MAXIMUS EXTREME and on the very first handful of revisions of the BIOS this memory would not work effectively. I had to manually set the clocks and what not. Immediately after a few much more BIOS revisions it did start working on Automobile so I guess that is not seriously a con of the memory so substantially as the MOBO. Automatically configured correctly but i have yet to overclock it even though im preparing to. Its quickly and responsive and just from appears the quality is good. I would advise it.
