Very very good memory, operates with my BIOSTAR TH67+ motherboard and goes great with my new i7 LGA 1155 three.4GHz CPU. Non, unless you don't like the memory cooler design, which is not the the case with me. Gonna get another pair to place me at 8GB, which I might will need, later. My setup is: BIOSTAR TH67+ LGA 1155 Intel Core i7-2600 Sandy Bridge three.4GHz (With constructed in Intel HD Graphics 2000 G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 4GB PC3 1333 Windows 7 64bit

Appears fancy and cost is affordable. Memory states its for Intel 67 model mobos but it does not operate adequately with my MSI H67MA-E35 mobo as I get beep codes with it installed at post. I have attempted manually setting everything in the CMOS, but it does not have any impact. Manufacturer Response:.Dear CustomerWe are sorry to hear you are getting troubles. Please test every module individually to see if a single is causing the difficulty. If so, send them in for RMA and a replacement kit really should operate superior. They look interesting, if a little gimmicky. Really quickly overall performance in games for the price. Knocking off an egg due to the fact they won't run at their rated speeds for me. My Intel DH67CL motherboard is detected them as 9-9-9-24. When I manually set them to the rated speeds, the method wouldn't boot. Reset them back to the defaults and the technique booted without problem. Had I known this memory would not function for me at the rated speeds, I in all probability would have saved myself the money and gone for a typical set of 9-9-9-24 RAM. Manufacturer Response:.Dear BuyerThank you for your G.Talent obtain. We are sorry to hear the memory is not operating to specifications. Please test them individually to see if it is a single module causing a issue. Each and every stick ought to be capable of the rated specifications. Please feel absolutely free to send them in for RMA to see if a new kit operates far better. If you have difficulties and require further help, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us directly. Whilst it is apparently made for Intel CPUs, it works fine with my Phenom 2. Efficiency is wonderful and each sticks passed memtest86 with flying colors. all around excellent stuff. None so far. The heat spreaders could be blue, that would be cool.

I've had them operating for a few days now in an Asus P8P67 Pro motherboard with no issues. I didn't go in and manually tweak any of the timings, but they run at the spec values just fine, and the "auto overclocking" feature on the motherboard was capable to pull a small additional out of them as well. None so far. The description says they are "Designed Particularly for Intel Sandy Bridge CPUs, H67 and P67 Platforms". In creating my P67-primarily based Pc and perusing numerous internet forums, I identified that a lot of individuals were getting boot / BIOS stability issues related to memory. These sticks have worked fantastic for me. Manufacturer Response:.Dear CustomerThank you for your G.Skill buy and review. Glad to hear the memory is functioning properly in your ASUS motherboard. We perform very closely with them for compatibility, which is why most G.Ability DDR3 kits will be perfectly stable on their motherboards. The RipJaws X is specifically created with the P67 in mind, so you can be sure that we have currently performed all the testing and these kits will function flawlessly. Manufacturer Response:.Dear CustomerThank you for your G.Skill buy and evaluation. Glad to hear this memory kit is operating effectively in your method. This is a common frequency DDR3-1333 kit, but the low latency will enable it to execute like a DDR3-1600. This is perfect for those that are unfamiliar or don't want to overclock, but nonetheless want above average performance out of their method. For this cause, it is one of our most common kits. I purchased this last week when Newegg had a deal going for memory. I was waiting for a single of the Sandy Bridge CPUs due on Feb 20th to purchase the rest of my HTPC method. Nicely, now with the Intel Chipset snafu, apparently I'll be waiting till April!I have all my components picked out- if/when Newegg has sales and free of charge shipping deals, I'll slowly be purchasing the rest of my method. This Intel snafu really stinks! Nothing about G.Skill - the "con" is Intel and their chipset challenge! So far I've bought my blu ray recorder, small wireless keyboard, this memory and my challenging drive. I will need Newegg to throw a sale on the case, motherboard, CPU and PSU that I intend to acquire!

Looks genuinely cool. Says it's designed for Sandy Bridge. Matches the color scheme of my Intel DP67BG, and a handful of other Sandy Bridge boards.Quick timings for a great value. Not confident if this is a dilemma with my motherboard or the profile in the memory, but my BIOS is saying that the default timings are 9-9-9-24.Ahead of I updated the motherboard BIOS it considered the 13.33x multiplier an overclock! Also, I've observed the replies right here from G.Skill saying, "yes, it actually is developed for Sandy Bridge/P67." Nevertheless, I don't see any explanation as to how. I feel a standard explanation can be given without giving away any trade secrets. I would seriously like to know how this memory synergizes with my chipset. Regardless, I'm going to be shopping for a different pair mainly because of the existing 72 hour sale on desktop memory. That'll place me at 8 GB total. Then I'll try an overclock to 1600 MHz

Incredibly quickly, they DO in truth run at their rated speeds. None. I owe G.Skill an apology for the review below. This RAM would not run for me because I had the settings incorrect ƒN is NOT the identical as 2T).All works nicely - sorry once more, G.Skill!Excellent memory!

low latency, good color scheme matching my case and mb (blue/black); reasonably low price compared to similar memories, works with my Phenom II 555 (which unlocks to X4 cores and increases efficiency of these sticks-- from about 10gb/s to 13gb/s in memory bandwith in Sandra. And...I can nonetheless overclock this factor from 3.2ghz to about three.5ghz with normal air cooling. I did have to use amd overdrive to adjust one timing. my mb recognized 7-7-7-24 1T, so i just dropped it to 7-7-7-21 1T as it need to be. I wont mess with these settings for now, i bought the low latency so i could get that performance without stressing them. -1 egg since there is no profile for amd for these memories AMD Phenom X2 555 (~X4 955) MSI 790FX-GD70GSkill Ripjaw 2x2gib DDR3 HD Radeon 5770 1Gb Manufacturer Response:.Dear CustomerThank you for your G.Skill acquire and assessment. Glad to hear the memory is working effectively in your AMD technique. This memory does have XMP Profile, so all motherboards that do assistance extreme memory profiles will be capable. Most AMD motherboards do not support memory profiles, so that is something beyond our control. The memory really should perform really well with that setup, so we are particular you will be quite satisfied. It works! There is absolutely nothing special about this for Sandy Bridge. Just GSkill advertising and marketing buzzwords. "Designed Particularly for Intel Sandy Bridge" LOL! :) Manufacturer Response:.Dear CustomerThank you for your G.Skill acquire. Glad to hear the memory is working nicely in your program. This memory has a standard efficiency spec that many CPUs can support, but for some of the higher performance modules, not all CPUs can support it which is why we list for P67. The Ripjaws X Series is particularly developed for the P67 Sandybdrige platform, but it does not mean other systems can not support this memory. The key objective is to make confident your CPU can support the memory you acquire. Like a lot of, you may well purchase a kit that your other hardware such as CPU can not support, or demands overclocking that you are not familiar with. You can call them buzzwords, but they do have their purpose.Thank youGSKILL SUPPORTTop quality and consumer service are our leading priorities.Tech Support E-mail: ustech@gskillusa.comRMA Dept Email: rma@gskillusa.comG.Skill Forum: http://www.gskill.us/forum/
