This stuff overclocks so easily! Running at stock timings and voltage. But with the frequency currently at 1825MHz and it's strong as a rock. None that I can see. Overclocks substantially better than my Corsair XMS 3 which was rated for 2000MHz with looser timings. At full price tag this stuff is a deal, catch it on sale and it's a steal!!

Exceptional timings. If I keep in mind correctly, changing the timings and speed in the bios from the default changed the windows encounter score from 7.1 to 7.8. But of course that's just a quantity. That rating only uses the six gigs from this set. None for me. Tall sticks could interfere with cpu heatsinks for some persons. Definately worth the extra few dollars if you want a machine that lasts.

G.talent has not upgraded thier QVL lists but according to the support guys this memory should work with any asus solution. According to the help guys at G.ability this memory need to perform with any Asus solution. I do not know about other motherboards but G.skill is identified for its virtually limitless compatibility. I have owned lots of unique g.talent memory and in no way had a poor stick. I bought these to replace the Corsair XMS [XMP certified] memory that was obtaining all sorts of compatibility error with my motherboard.

Very good cost, solid heat spreaders, Awesome timings Haven't found any yet Did some study on DDR3 memory, found that midium frequency, low latency RAM outperformed high frquency mid Latency RAM in most actual world testing. I don't benchmark, nor do I play games, but at these timings and price tag, this is a way greater deal than some extremely overclocked RAM. I am running this 3x2 GB kit on my new Asus Sabertooth X58, Core i7-970 (thanks IRE), worked great! Instead of setting the XMP profile in the BIOS I used the "Intel Intense Tuning Tool" accessible on Asus help internet site for my board, super straightforward to set the XMP profile and supplies some nice graphics and uncomplicated strain testing.

Booted correct up to advertised speed six-eight-6-20, no troubles and they leave a little area to OC with the default voltage. Ideal ram for 6BG with my program for optimum cooling. These are TALL sticks!! I am running Asus RIII formula with CNPS10X cooler and there is no way you could match the cooler with greatest positioning (forcing air right to the rear exhaust fan) with 12GB mounted. Although most of us do not will need that significantly ram.

Operates as shown in the specs. XMP profile was immediately recognized by my new Asus Sabertooth. None so far. I have been shopping for G.Talent memory for over a year. I had just one dilemma, and G.Ability replaced the stick ASAP. All computers in the property run G.Ability memory. I'm a true believer.

Runs at rated speed Ɩ-8-6-20), and I have it set to 1T @ 1.6v, and presently running at 1664MHz. Have been running Prime95 at these settings, and it passed, with Ŕ" errors. Extremely excellent worth for the tight timings! I've already had it at 1770MHz with 6-8-6-20 1T & 1.625vIt wasn't a totally stable setting, but stable sufficient to run benchmarks! (Everest memory benchmarks) It's not DDR3-2000, but if it was, the timings wouldn't be so great!Truly, NO cons what so ever! Just good memory. Runs properly on a Rampage III Formula board, no troubles with a 1T command rate!Wonderful price, for a 3x2Gb set of low latency, triple channel memory! It just barely fits beside my Prolimatech Mega Shadow cpu cooler.Other method specs: i7 980X @ three.83GHz ྸǝ), & 1-GTX480 Lightning, with a Silverstone 1500watt PSU

I to have also caught on to the low timings like 5-6-5-20 with a bit lower freq. And I must say my Windows 7 has under no circumstances had so considerably zip. Upgraded from a preceding pair of gskills and under no circumstances regretted the selection. none I used to be a hardcore Corsair person and prior to that Crucial. But with the track record and products that G Skill puts out I will under no circumstances go back. I advise this business to all my clients and good friends. They just perform period!

Very rapidly when they worked. I had these in a Evga 760 Classified and they would run at rated speeds, but would only show up as 4 GB in Windows 7 64Bit. When I tried to run BFBC two the game would crash, and they also would kick my modem offline. It was determined that 1 of the sticks was bad and I had to return them. This is quite quick memory there is a noticable improvement going from CL7 to CL6. Manufacturer Response:.Dear ConsumerWe are sorry to hear you had complications. Please send this kit in for RMA and the new kit need to operate much better. Any CL6 DDR3 memory is really speedy, it is the minimum latency for DDR3. Especially throughout gaming, this latency is significantly much more critical than obtaining a high frequency kit such as DDR3-2200+. The low latency allows the system to carry out as fast as high frequency kits, but devoid of needing overclocking. It is perfect for individuals that want performance, but are not extremely familiar with overclocking. Operates at the advertised timings. Had Dominator 2000 ram prior, but couldn't get it to perform at the advertised timings devoid of upping the voltage. Tried three sticks which worked a small superior, but was not receiving the outcomes I was hunting for. I like the high quality of Corsair items, but in this case I had to resort to these mainly because Corsairs had been handicapping my overclock a bit. The i7 950 memory controller was becoming stressed by the Corsairs. Now I have a 980X and I wonder if I should have kept the other set. In a nutshell, these are cheaply built, but they do perform and will overclock a bit devoid of needing a voltage boost. They run happily at 1688 Mhz 6-8-6-20 1T. Certain they have a lot more in them. Haven't attempted pushing them much more. Price tag is high for the create high quality, but once again they do perform. Nicely, I have a stable although somewhat mild OC worked out, and this RAM is performing far better than I expected.I am currently operating it at five-6-five-20 60, 1336 Ƒ.66v), and also be honest, its excellent. The RAM is able to take care of a lot more (at least 14xx) at the similar timings. Given that timings are additional essential than speed to me, this is excellent. Price tag nevertheless, but after it begins dropping I will pick up yet another set. Honestly, I never expected it to OC so well, ultimately I will choose up a good cooling kit and seriously see how far these go.Wonderful RAM, very good value

6-8-6-20 1600 RAM, so latency is great and frequency is good. In the finish I would like to get it at Ӳ-6-6-20 1T, but who knows, either way I will rate it yet again when I discover out how far I can push it Manufacturer Response:.Dear ConsumerThank you for your G.Skill buy and overview. Glad to hear the memory is working well. All of our memory is rated for 2T, though a lot of occasions 1T is attainable. We have to state 2T as not all hardware combinations will be capable. As far as overclocking the memory, tRCD will be challenging to lower due to the chips, so this value will always be larger.Thank youGSKILL AssistanceQuality and customer service are our leading priorities.Tech Help E-mail: ustech@gskillusa.comRMA Dept E mail: rma@gskillusa.comG.Ability Forum: http://www.gskill.us/forum/
