All chips functioning well. No issues. Each pair of chips is boxed with a bridged cooling fan. I have 6 of these chips on the MoBo and there's only space for a single fan, so I have two spare fans to call upon ought to the need to have arise.

Look sweet.Fan is great. It recognised the chips as 2200s in XMP mode... COULD NOT get these steady. They are at 1600 at the moment. QPI settings don't mean anything to me, I'm on a P45 board with a C2Q. It advertises help for it, maybe I just have to find the sweet spot... If G.Skill has any recommendations, on voltage, speed, anything, it's properly appreciated...If I get them going, I'll post a new review, but as of now, they won't do what they are advertised to do... Manufacturer Response:.Dear CustomerWe are sorry to hear you are unable to stabilize this kit. With an Intel Core two Quad CPU, the CPU FSB substantially match the DDR3 frequency. So if you try DDR3-2000, CPU FSB ought to be 2000MHz. This is a feat in itself as precise voltages are essential to stabilize the overclock. It will need some trial and error testing to attain complete stability. If you will need additional help, please feel free of charge to contact our technical assistance division directly. So here we go, Straight up , THIS IS The Best MEMORY YOU CAN GET ON THE Marketplace ATM. that IS if you can tweak settings here and there. These overclock much better and go down to lower latencies easier than the Higher frequency CL8 and CL9 modules of the PI Series which are far more pricey. These are Hyper Binned chips while the other individuals are BBSEs. Essentially , this > Higher freq versions .These will also outperform any other memory offered out there. You require to have a fantastic understanding and capability to tweak right here and there. If youre considering about getting some Higher performance memory , this is it , EVEN if you do not know how to tweak , These are the way to go as there wont be a functionality increase of additional than 5 perhaps , MAX 10% compared to the others ( Not even ten% on second believed).

Appears to be solid memory. The heatsink tends to make the memory module way also tall. I have to return two sticks simply because my CPU cooler/motherboard combo don't permit adequate vertical clearance for a memory heatsink. Manufacturer Response:.Dear ConsumerWe apologize for the inconvenience. The PIS series heatspreaders are 56mm tall, so make sure your CPU cooler can clear this. For this high profile heatspreader, you will most most likely will need a cooler that does not obstruct the two closest memory slots. Glad to hear the memory is performing properly. This is a incredibly higher efficiency kit that must make tremendous outcomes.Thank youGSKILL HelpTop quality and client service are our top priorities.Tech Assistance Email: ustech@gskillusa.comRMA Dept E mail: rma@gskillusa.comG.Talent Forum: http://www.gskill.us/forum/

Does what it's supposed to. Shipped with diverse fans than what is shown, not as well big a deal, hopefully they work greater. But I like finding what I think I'm buying, so that was a huge annoying. The new fans don't look to clip into spot as effectively as they should for me either. Not terrible, but not as snug as I'd like. Manufacturer Response:.Dear ClientWe apologize for the confusion. We have updated all memory fans to our most current Turbulence II, so any picture that shows our Turbulence I is old. The Turbulence I is no longer obtainable. We will make contact with NewEgg to update the pictures. Speed. As good as the far more costly model None Some have talked about the Latency concern with these sticks vs. the 2000MHz model. They are correct about the fact that the latency 򜯐MHz and CAS6 is greater than the stock on these. BUT YOU CAN SLOW THESE DOWN TO 2000MHz and run them at the very same timings. And do it ฮ more affordable. I am running these at 2000MHz and 6-9-6-24-2N. Just as rapidly but much less high priced. So thes can run @ 6ns CAS latency

Runs at advertised speeds with stock voltage in my new SB create. Thinking about the cost distinction involving this and DDR2000, the choice was an effortless one to make. I received the Turbulence II cooler instead of the a single in the image. I was a bit disappointed, but it works all the identical. Good brand, good value for higher end RAM, runs off Intel XMP profiles with ease.

Very fast RAM. Have not been capable to overclock due to the fact of my power provide becoming old (purchased a new a single) but even running at typical, I have not noticed any bottle necks. The cooling fan it ships with is really bulky. I realize it has to be, but if you have a lot of devices in your rig, it makes it tricky to fit correctly Manufacturer Response:.Dear CustomerThank you for your G.Ability purchase and assessment. Glad to hear you are enjoying the memory. This is 1 of our best efficiency kits, so you must be extremely happy with the results at optimum performance. With regards to the memory fan, it ought to only have problems if you have a significant CPU cooler that goes straight over the memory slots. Otherwise, it should fit in most systems. The memory cooler can significantly reduce memory temperature, so it is useful to any technique. If you have any future questions or problems, please really feel absolutely free to speak to us straight. Rapidly, Fast. Rapid. Economical. On Sis Sandra scored 25th in the planet on Latencey. Awsome! Much better than 98.9% of ALL memory Takes some tweeking to get to rated speed. I figured considering that my Gigabyte board supported 2200 RAM that I can just pop them in, choose XMP and off I go. NOT SO. You should in fact overclock this due to the fact the memory multiplier does not go greater than X12 which means only 1600 mem is supported by base settings. This is not G.Expertise difficulty and so no eggs off. If you want Awsome buyer service then go with G.Skill. Their forum has individuals helping all the time and can usually respond within a day. Gigabyte on the other hand take three days to respond and provides you no genuine aid.I had to up my QPI voltage to around 1.4v to get this rig stable at 2200 and I am ideal now operating it at 2300 with the base XMP settings.Core i7 860 @ 3.6GHzXIGMATEK HDT-S1283 Cooler w/ 2000RPM 120MM FanGigabyte P55M-UD2G.Ability 17600CL7 DDR3 RAM 4GBVista 64WD 500GB HD RAID Antec 300 Computer CaseOCZ StealthXStream 600W PS

Each and every factor that was promised was delivered, solid item, going to obtain 4 more. I don't like the way the cooling fan attached to the clips for the ram. Ideally you will need a clip on ether side of the ram stick to support the fans appropriately and my MoBo does not so it was a bit of a design flaw in my eyes but I wont take an egg off for it. I added G.Skill PIS Series 4GB ƒ x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2200 (PC3 17600)to my Intel Core i5-750 on a ASUS P7P55D mobo with two bridged NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 for my youngsters to play with they have not complained so far.

This is astounding performance for the cost per GB given memory costs these days. I would rank it very high in terms of bang for buck in the high-performance category. It'll be rock strong at its rated frequency and latency and then some. If not, you can count on G.Ability to take care of you (speaking from encounter). Poor bang for the buck in terms of [% higher performance : % greater cost ratio] vs low-cost lower-frequency, larger latency solutions. Unless you are the all-out-benchmark-geek kind and/or all the other hardware in your rig is leading-of-the-line stuff, this is not actually for you. You'll pay 50% additional for five% much more overall technique efficiency. This is typical, however, and in fact this product is excellent for its cost vs its competitors from other brands. Yet another reviewer asked why this is less expensive than G.Skill's F3-16000CL6D-4GBPIS. The cause is in the latency: the F3-16000CL6D-4GBPIS models have lower ACTUAL (time-based latency) latency than this kit does. The formula for discovering the actual latency in nanoseconds isɅ/chip frequency*CAS񧁰F3-16000CL6D-4GBPISɅ񳏀ƪ񧁰ɨns latencyF3-17600CL7D-4GBPISɅ񳒈ƫ񧁰ɨ.4ns latencyThus, the a lot more high-priced F3-16000CL6D-4GBPIS really run tighter when all is mentioned and completed, although at a lower frequency. In fact, the F3-16000CL6D-4GBPIS are the lowest actual latency modules I can believe of at the moment.Constantly check new memory when you acquire it with Memtest. If it can't run at its rated frequency and latency settings devoid of throwing errors, get it replaced.

Like the design/Color. The fan is ultra quite like the rest of my system. The Heat Sinks are tall and the OEM Intel Core i7 930 HeatSink/Fan overlaps the farthest Left Memory Slot. Fortunately the Gigabyte x58-UDR3 Mobo doesn't use the farthest left slot when working with only 2 sticks. But when I get much more RAM I may possibly have to get a new Heat Sink. Manufacturer Response:.Dear CustomerThank you for your G.Skill acquire and evaluation. Glad to hear you are enjoying the memory. The heatsinks are roughly 55mm tall, so they are much taller than your common memory module. Also, to fully use your motherboard's triple channel memory architecture, you will need three sticks total. If you have any further concerns or troubles, please feel no cost to let us know. Runs excellent at posted speed in XMP. Really like the fan with the blue led (matches all my other leds on my fans) and runs extremely cool. No dilemma fitting the fan subsequent to a corsair h50 cpu cooler and fan is extremely easy to install. My initially develop and skeptical of going with G.Skill cuz I had never ever heard of them prior to but no regrets and would definately get once again. None At first had some minor issues just before turning on XMP even though they ran at 1600MHz. Had some choppy video playback but all was remedied when pushed up to 2200.i7 875k | GA-P55A-UD7 | Corsair HX750W | Corsair H50
