I probably shouldn't have bought this since my laptop has a fan. I was hoping to cool down the laptop, tho, to reduce the strain on the components. The power required to run the cooler seemed to cause my laptop fan to run 100% of the time instead of 50-70% of the time. I've shut it off and it now serves as a stand to elevate my laptop. |

With 3 Fans this unit keeps my laptop cool with little or No noise. The only problem is you will have to keep moving the laptop to line up the cooling vents under LARGER Laptops to align them with the fan or fans. Only 2 line up very close on my Asus 17 Inch Laptop. Still an Excellent Product especially for the money |

This works well but seems to defeat the cooling purpose. The laptop pulls cool air from the bottom and sends it out the side. This cooler pulls cool air from the bottom of the laptop and sends it out the back. Therefore making the laptop fan work harder. I would think it would be better to have the cooler pull cool air from in back and send it up to the bottom of the laptop thereby facilitating more airflow. |

Wires quickly became exposed at the USB jack, under powered, too small for a conventional 15.4'', anti-slide rubber stoppers on upper corners quickly broke off so laptop keeps sliding off. |

As in many of the other reviews the wite sheathing where the wires enter the USB connector broke exposing the inner wires. I didn't want to leave it like that because over time the weakened area would cause the wires to eventually break and cause a shorting hazard. So I had to wrap electrical tape around the USB connector and the wire to shore it up. Otherwise, it's quiet and seems to do the job. |

Power cord won't stay connected - too loose. Works ok on my netbook, but not my sisters laptop, which was what it was for. Also, the plastic cord is peeling and appears blistered. |

I bought this product for my laptop which was suffering from overheating problems. The cord which attaches to the USB plug is nearly broken already with the inner wires exposed. There is an annoying blue light on the front when you turn it on that is very bright--i just covered it with tape. When i put my hand over the fan i hardly feel any suction. |

I bought 3 of these and they worked but the USB cable is already beginning to losen and the underlying wires can be seen. This will probably damage the connector with use and the cord will need to be replaced. vendor should be notified about this issue. |

I bought two of these and, right out of the box, one had a faulty fan. There are no features other than it cools your laptop using its USB power. All in all, this could have been better had it had a few quality parts |

I just got this cooling pad.. ordered it for my little bro. Once we took it out the box and plugged it in we didn't feel any air coming out of it. This product does not work!! his laptop was still burning up hot after an hr-2hrs of use, it's cheaply made and useless. I went to wal-mart and bought another one (Targus cooling pad) to re-place this crap!.. and it works MUCH BETTER.. can actually feel the air from the two fans and it keeps his laptop nice and cool. This is the worst product i have bought off of TigerDirect. |

I had a 2 fan cooler for a couple of years that got noisier and noisier by the year. Once I connected the quiet 3 fan cooling pad, it was incredible; hardly hear the cooling pad and keeps my Toshiba nice and cool - a great buy for the money. |
1 dead in 2 weeks. the other is noisy.
