It's affordable, and it just operates. I am extremely happy with these fans. It's not as loud as I thought it would be, but moves a tiny much less air also. (see cons) It pulls a tiny much less air than I'd like, but I figured it would prior to I bought it.

This fan is probably one of the quietest highest rated cfm 80mm fans on the marketplace. Of course you could get boad engine cooler fans that go like 5000 rpms with like one hundred cfm, but they are like 80 db. This fan is genuinely quiet, and moves air very good. hmm none. I have one of these already and one particular is shipping to me appropriate now. IF you can't use a 120mm fan, this one must be the only remedy to 80mm fans.

Blows air. Cheap. Totally free shipping. Arrived day right after it was ordered. This thing was louder than most hair dryers. Probably defective. Not worth the dollars to RMA it. It went in the trash.

If you want higher speed flow these are it. High speed also adds noise--i dont mind as they are carrying out the cooling job. Will usually buy Rexus!!!

This fan blows! No, wait, this is a excellent issue. I hooked it up, and just to see if everything was operating, I left the cover off my case and began up my personal computer. I could really feel the blast of air even though sitting up in my seat with the computer sitting down just above the floor. After having the computer system on for half an hour, CPU temp was nonetheless sitting at 77F. Undoubtedly a great value for the price. Has a continual whine/buzz. It is relatively loud, but it appears doable to get utilised to it, based on your noise tolerance.

For an 80mm fan, this fan has a greater air output than any other. Additional, it blows more air than a common 120mm fan. Numerous other people state that this an is loud. Well, it is entirely and absolutely accurate. Do NOT get this fan if you want your case to be, in any shape or form, quiet. 2 of these fans had been bought for two smaller form aspect pcs that I recently constructed for some pals. (The airflow was necessary.) Even so, I couldn't bear to connect the fans to the MB due to how loud they were. As a outcome, I ended up showing them what to do in the occasion they upgrade their graphics solution from a single 4770 to a Crossfire setup. (When this happens, the fans will be expected.)

These issues move good amounts of air. I have 7 of them split amongst two Lian-Li situations. They can be controlled by a wide assortment of controller varieties. I had 4 Tornados in a single case & effectively I pretty much lost my thoughts, (even a lot more). These fans helped put some psychological comfort back into my gaming, as nicely as dropping technique temps. none. I very tout their 120mm line as well. I have three in a TT Soprano case & out-execute something else I've tried. Mad Props!!!

It spins at advertised speed and moves a lot of air. It truly made my feet cold. Loudest fan I have ever heard. I ought to have paid more interest to the dBA rating. I purchased this fan about a year ago for a spare. I lastly installed it last week. Following a few days I couldn't take the noise anymore and unplugged it. Going back into the spare pile (for emergency use only this time).I was choosing it up thru my headphones it was so loud!

Lots of Air Flow, and Noise level is acceptable. None, unless you are going following dead silent opperation I bought these are replacements to our American DJ Mighty Scan Intelligent Lighting Fixtures. I was worried about the noise levels as some critiques stated they had been loud. These are not loud!. Clearly the people who stated these are loud have under no circumstances worked with rack servers specially the older dells which had been unbearable. I was unsure about how loud 38 dBA was. Now I know that 38 dBA is absolutely nothing. I ought to have gone with the vantec Tornadoes. Next time I definately will. Keep in mind I was employing these on intelligent lights that will be in a club where the music will effortlessly more than energy them. If you were going to load up your Computer with a few of these, then over time they might be a tiny loud. If you want max airflow and max quiet, you have to get a case with 250mm fans. XClid is 1 of the handful of organizations that makes them.

Moves air. It's a fan, soon after all. The existing value isn't that wonderful. I got mine for Ů shipped no cost, still don't think it was worth that. Loud on high. Get anything else for this price. Not worth it. It works, but there are much better fans out there. ****'s due to the fact it works.

Moves a lot of air for an 80mm fan! I've got 120mm fans that don't move this significantly air.Great to replaces slowing down blow hole fan in my Lian Li case. Might be a touch noisy in a quiet environment. Not in mine. Purchased two, got a back up or for some other project.Wonder how to see latency timings on memory in Xubuntu w/o running wine & cpuz.... hmmmm? Nicely it's an 'other believed'.

Powerful for their size! Cool very nicely. Hooked up nicely to my fan controller. Tiny bit loud, but I forgot to install the small buffers that go amongst the case and the fans. Two in my case cooling my two HDDs. These fans keep them both in between 30 and 34 degrees C most of the time.

I put this fan in the leading of my other Lian Li Computer-7A plus II case, and it functions out really nicely. I also have it connected to Vantec NXP-301 Fan Controller. I definitely suggest this fan! The noise level didn't bother me, but I'm confident most folks would complain about it. It's about as loud as a hair dryer on "Low". You may want to get a fan controller with this. One more factor, the wire is a small brief. It wasn't a challenge for me, but if you have a larger case, you could come across yourself operating out of cable. The pros surely outweigh the cons. If the fan cable is too brief for you, then just get an extension cable. You can discover the fan extension cables here [ http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16812189006 ]

Very high cfm compared to every of my prior 80mm fans; this factor moves an impressive amount of air. Loud, but not significantly louder than the Enermax it replaced. (It is basically quieter than I was expecting.) I’ve owned a few unique 80mm case fans and this 1 has the ideal sounding motor/bearing. I’m anxious to attempt different speeds but this fan’s wires won’t reach my controller in a 5.25 bay.

Although searching this thing up at school 1 of my class mates who was getting a bad day, took note of the noise rating and commented that it would be 'too loud' and walked away from me. A loud fan doesn't bother me substantially. But when I built my brothers Pc the fan I applied was a negative choice on my component. Its fan was as loud as a hair dryer. So, I got this fan to address this problem. Yet I also wanted unusually high air flow at the very same time. You can really feel the air coming from this fan. During an upgrade I was shocked how noticeably cold a metal difficult drive became immediately after I laid it on best of his case, now being sucked cold by this fan. Its only about as loud as a fan you may possibly have on your desk in the summer. Its surely far quieter than a hair dryer. Not PWM or Temperature Controlled. The bearing is what gives it a superior noise to air flow ratio. If you want to understand much more about fans see 'computer case fan' on wikipedia. Typically something but a sleeve bearing is what you want. This fans bearing is one of the specialized bearings. My guess is that a Hydro-Wave bearing is the Rexus advertising and marketing branding of a Fluid Dynamic bearing - the quietest you can get for each given amount of air flow.

Man, this thing does a excellent job of pumps air. undoubtedly not the quietest, but not the loudest fan i've heard.the wire is way shorter than the wire of the fan I replaced, so I had to do a small bit of wire rearranging inside my 'puter. replaced three busted stock lian-li fans from an old lian-li 60. easy effortless uncomplicated. and now the air coming out of my pc in fact feels a little cold.

This little fan can do it's job. It blows a lot of air. I got two of these for my case put it on the bottom and top of my case and let me tell u it blow a lot of air out of the case. It keeps the hot air out. For a little fan it is loud when u have it on high. Thanks to my mother board the Asus Crosshair two formula i can control it with the Q fan mode. When the CPU gets warm it begins to blow a lot more air in. Good fan. Nicely none. I feel when u have it on high it is kinda loud but hey i don't mind if u want hot air out of ur case this small thing will do it's job. I like. :)
