They confident move A LOT of air. Loud. Yes.... I knew they have been going to be loud at complete speed/voltage, but...... I believed I could below volt them for regular net browsing, light desktop tasks, etc. and then crank them up for benching/gaming. On the other hand, when beneath volted, the motors make an annoying sound. Best way I can describe it is a rubbing/ticking sound. It got to annoying and I removed them.

I've been utilizing this fan as the single heatsink fan on my Megahalems. I'm at four. Ghz and my temps have in no way been lower. Also, LOADS much less high priced than any comparable overall performance fan. This fan would be even greater on a fan controller as an hsf fan or even a case fan (it's a bit loud, but moves a ton of air). A bit loud, but excellent functionality/noise ratio. If you're contemplating this as a Megahalems fan, obtain it. You won't be disappointed. If you're taking into consideration this for a different HS, get it.

Really rapid! It moves alot of air and dropped temps ten degrees C! none dumb error but just a heads up. I place it in and turned on comp to see it in action. I reached inside to do some wire arrangement genuinely rapid and BAM! My pinky didnt even know what hit it! lol pretty nice reduce...so watch out quick implies razor sharp and rapid cuts! 5 EGGS on this child!

High RPM and a fantastic angle for the blades indicates massive airflow; the "hydro wave" bearings look to support as at complete speed it is comparatively quiet(all issues viewed as). Heavy, helping to reduce vibration Heavy - if the fan is to be mounted by way of smaller screws and hung with no help from underneath, be cautious when moving your Computer. the point weighs well over the weight of a kitten. Loud to the point where if fan noise isnt a sedative for you, dont put it in the space you sleep in. I purchased 1, my CPU temp dropped by 12 degrees C no load and about 15 C full load(watercooling setup as well as case ventilation). tired of needing a dozen fans for air cooling? stock up on these.

best fan ever. i do not care about how loud it is. seriously awesome airflow. this is the finest case fan. one for exhaust is good adequate for most setups. my area is genuinely hot and i have no problems. rexus rulz. thick, loud when employing far more than one particular of the similar or other loud fans. but airflow is worth best heavy duty fan if youre into that kinda factor ;)

Very Strong AIR FLOW!!! It pulls sooo difficult that even with a Cooler Master case with a totally ventilated front, it appears like it pulls air backwards through my PSU!!! And it is not incredibly loud IF you place a wire grille on it to minimize turbulence. Be careful as to whether or not you want to hook it up straight to your motherboard; due to the fact I program on developing a new computer quickly, it is not so substantially a pitfall for me, but it overloaded and fried the motherboard's speed controller and now that fan connector won't even provide energy! I just used an adapter and hooked it directly to the PSU for the time being. A little loud, yes, but my PSU fan can be louder when the heat is actually higher and it gets to full speed.

Fan is Strong, it blows some air. Heavy material. Not for Queit Computing, It sound like a Train. I have a Headache from it. High-priced. This fan is for those that not impacted by the noise. Even with controller its horrible, it not only makes Air flow noise but the Ball bearing sharp noise is ear hurting and most annoying. you can hear it from two rooms away.

This factor moves additional air than any other 120mm fan I have ever owned!!! Hurricane force winds from this issue!!! Can be loud for any person worried about noise.

Mounted very easily, consists of hardware and common fan connector. Brought internal case temperatures down to a couple of degrees above ambient air temperature outside the case. Putting your hand behind the case, you can really feel that this fan isn't messing about. It's moving a really serious volume of air. Quite loud. Extremely incredibly loud. If you truly don't care about fan noise and you just want your box to be as cool as doable, look no additional. This fan will do it for you.

This thing moves a ton of air. I at present have two installed in my computer, one particular sucking in air above the video card and the other for exhaust. After installed, my video card dropped gpu temp dropped by 20 dec C. It sucks air into the case like a vacuum cleaner and blows out air like a hair dryer. Yes, but it is loud like a vacuum cleaner too. My computer sounds like there is a dyson inside it. If you can deal with the sound, its amazing, o/w I would recommend a thing else.

Moves air like my rear-end. Possibly as loud as my rear-finish as well. This is speculation, but I have come up with some linear calculations for the fan.7CFM~ 2705 rpm @ 45.5 dBA80CFM~ 1886.6 rpm @ 32.07 dBA70CFM~ 1650.eight rpm @ 28.06 dBA60CFM~ 1414.9 rpm @ 24.05 dBA50CFM~ 1179.two rpm @ 20.04 dBA*this is purely on the assumption that the fan price is linear from where its minimum and maximum rpm are set by Rexu$. This is what I am going by, so right me if I calculated incorrect*

Moves ridiculous air, specifically at maximum speed. It depends on your perception, but these puppies can get loud, specifically at maximum speed. Properly... if you feel this point will be plugged directly into your MB header, you might want to be sure that the fan PWM can manage a .65A current.

Cheap, wonderful airflow, a lot of air flow Loud, thick (depth) Yea... it's loud if you run it at 100% energy. I have it going via my Corsair H50 CPU cooler, and have it operating anyplace from like 30-50% energy. It, along with the H50, retain my CPU at 50 degrees at complete load (Quad i7, 2.93Ghz).

Specs look correct and that's nothing at all to take for granted. Panaflo bearings are very good excellent so it really should final. Tried as exhaust for a couple days then bottom intake couple of days in Coolermaster HAF 932 case. Works wonderful with controller either way. In no way needed it up to max (and if I did the core temps leveled out before max RPM anyway). Even with a rubber gasket and washers to damp the machine noise, the air flow itself is loud. Want a controller to lessen noise IMO. It's a 38mm so a small bigger than a 25. Intel i7 920 two.66GHz stock OC to three.8GHz air cooling only thanks to great fans like this in a high air-flow case...

Good fan.. I got three of them Its very sturdy and moves alot of air. Somewhat Noisy but its the airflow that is noisy, not the motor itself. Very high static stress. Not necessarily a con but the motor makes a hum on reduced rpms. Got it running with a scythe fan controller

Fantastic fan, sturdy. Lots of air flow. Keeps laptop or computer cooler by about 5 degrees C. 3 and 4 pin adapter. Loud. Regardless of whether running at 100% or 40%. Even at 40% it drowns out my other 5 fans when they're at 100%. Its not as loud as a jet engine like some evaluations say. But its about as loud as a handheld vacuum. Can't hear it all with my Beats by Dre headphones. So I can reside with it.

For its size, the fan is quiet. The internal temperature of my case dropped 4 degrees Celsius after putting in the card. The instructions had been minimal and I did not see a clear indicator of which way to orient the fan for inflow or outflow. Attaching it the case is straightforward. I did have to keep a tight grip on the screw driver to get the screws in, but it has run fine since.

114cfm doesn't seem to be an overstatement of any kind, this thing moves plenty of air. It's LOUD! My rig sounds like a jet taking off. It's slightly overkill for my Ultra-120, and doesn't hold temps any lower than my Antec fan did. Would likely function superior as a case fan or with a heat sink with fins that are farther apart, as you can only force so significantly air by the a lot of fins on the Ultra-120.

Moves a lot of air just like it need to None The noise isn't as undesirable as other individuals make it out to be. If you have a decent case and fan controller it's not bad at all. Me, I don't mind loud fans, I leave it on complete speed as my CPU fan.

Got three of these for my 360 radiator. Decreased temps on my Phenom II 955 @ three.946GHz from 56°C to 51°C. Comparable lower on my GTX 470. I'm satisfied. They're not quiet, but, you ought to know that. Purchase a fan controller so you can turn these issues down when you're idling, the Lamptron FC2 is working really properly for me.

Moves a LOT of air. Lowered my northbridge and southbridge temps by 10c. Operates great on motherboards that use huge northbridge heatsinks rather than fans. Very LOUD. I was possessing heat concerns with my motherboard. So i installed 4 of these guys....difficulty solved, although now my personal computer literally sounds like a blow dryer when i turn it on.
