It works best! I can pull the card out of my phone rapidly and put it in right here for more quickly transfers. None It might be a little bulky compared to the stick like ones with slots on the side but I just stick mine on the side pocked of my backpack.

it functions - you have to push SDHC modules in rather really hard to make contact inside the unit - otherwise the light will nonetheless turn on making you consider its connected when it isn't- sliding latch doohickey not useful genuinely did i mention it operates

Lots of ports; couldn't ask for any extra ones! Nice red light on leading tells you when a thing is plugged in. I hate that putting a Memory Stick Pro Duo is often an art in patience - you genuinely have to get in there just suitable. That's why I only give this reader 4 eggs.

-Good and modest and sturdy.-Comes with a cable extension that is all you will ever require.-Operates like a charm.Ordered it on Monday and received it on Thursday. Newegg is the greatest when it comes to shipping. Thanks! None Would advocate it if you are seeking for a card reader and don't want to buy an internal 1.

All memory slots are proper up front, and the USB connection in back. Operates effectively on a desk. I can't boot with this nevertheless plugged in (Windows claims unknown device). I have to don\'t forget to often unplug it very first, boot, and then plug it back in. Even though that works, it is a discomfort. Plus, it uses Four drive letters, even with no memory cards plugged in. I'm making use of Windows 7, 32-bit, Specialist.

None really. Micro SD's get stuck and don't eject, and it won't even take a regular SD Card. The slot is there but it won't go in!! You'll be sorry.

information xfer is fine. if you don't insert the SD cards just perfectly, they will go in half way, and get 'stuck' and you have to pull forcibly to take away them. not self-assurance inspiring to say the least. esp if you work with high-priced SD cards. The feeling is like when you cross-thread a screw, and it gets stuck. Not great.

Operates good. Smaller and easy to setup/store. Does almost everything I want it to. Transfer speeds are a tiny slow, but not genuinely a major deal. Could just be my old Memory Stick.

Good reader. Just plug in and go!! It reads SD micro!! Haven't located to a lot of that can. On sale with cost-free shipping for much less than 20 bucks. Newegg rocks!!! None that I'm conscious of. It doesn't read 75 distinct cards. (Not truly a con, but to some it could be. Sometimes easier is much better) This is a excellent card reader. Just plug it in and it's fantastic to go. It does set up many drives in "My Computer system" on windows, but that doesn't bother me. In fact, I believe it tends to make it much easier to locate the memory kind drive. For those who only have a couple of forms of flash memory, this reader is the a single for you.

It reads my SDHC card with no challenges. Make confident to verify the formats prior to you get, a lot of the card readers don't assistance HC. I use it rarely so it's good to be capable to put it away until I need it. None observed at this time. If you use card readers frequently, it's worth it to set up a reader in the case -- but they complicate MY Computer by placing all those added drives in, so as an infrequent user I favor a stand alone unit that I can stow away. This one has worked fine so far.

Performs each time, have utilised this reader with multiple cards and a number of flavors of winXP personal computer. Shows various drive letters in windows explorer (even when cards not present) that I renamed to indicate what letter goes with what type of card. Really short cord. Not truly even a cord, more like just a versatile USB plug. You will probably need to have an extension cable. Had the 1st a single for 9 months. I just purchased two more of these units to accommodate my not too long ago purchased 8 gig SDHC card that some other SD readers will not recognize.Sliding inner component is kind of useless.

Solid constructed building, came with a USB extension cable, and has an intriguing feature where it the card ports slide into the body. Only 2 negatives. Very first, there is not XD slot which is 1 of the key ports I would want. Second, the sliding feature is fairly useless and makes the whole factor a small more bulky than it requirements to be, but this is barely a damaging. All in all a good item and a good cost. Not to mention Newegg had it shipped to me for absolutely free in only a few days. Newegg rocks!

It's information transfer rates are significantly faster than I anticipated. I will by no means use slow camera hardware to transfer files from a flash card once more! It has a pretty compact design and style with no bulky cables to drag around. It also appears reasonably sturdy. I wouldn't play catch with it, but I definitely don't worry it would get smashed in my briefcase. None, actually. The cable is rather short, but it's still quickly usable and a USB extension cable is provided if the cable does bother you.

Numerous card support. Amazing design and style. Comes with an extension cable! Only USB2, not as quick as a USB3 or firewire reader (but I dont care for this cost and reliability!) Have two. One particular in the camera bag and a single in the laptop bag. They come in quite handy and have never ever failed me for my photography requirements! Lots rapid for pulling pictures off of speedy CF cards, although only as rapidly as USB2. Doesnt matter to me even though; pop one particular card in commence the copy and the other card thats empty is already in the camera receiving shots, rinse, repeat.

+Small+Nothing to Set up for Win7+Cards I've utilized appear to operate flawlessly(SD, Micro SD)+Works plugged into a powered external USB Hub+Retracts to preserve cards that are plugged in protected (from what? I don't know) -No XD slot-Want it had screw holes so I could attach it below my desk*Neither of these are cons worth knocking an egg off for, thinking about I knew about both of them prior to purchase. I have an old Fuji camera that use XD cards, it's no biggie to just use a USB cable for that one given that it is rarely ever implemented. I have four cameras in my house that use SD, so that was the significant a single.I am pondering about mounting this factor beneath my desk. perhaps some heavy duty double sided tape...A single of these days, I hope they agree on a standard for these cards, so we won't need these 68,000-in-1 card readers. Until then, this tiny reader is a good quality compromise

It performs as advertised. Bought this for my wife for her photo shoots, She likes that the card reader can slide in and out of the outer case, I am assuming this is to protect your cards that you have installed in the reader if you want to leave them in there. Contruction appears a tiny cheap, not adequate to drop an egg although. Others have stated that the cable is too short. Mine came with an adapter cable that is about three feet lengthy.

reads just about everything. cheap price tag. comes with usb extension cable if you're making use of it on a desktop my 8GB microSDHC card got stuck in the reader. i had to break the plastic part below the microSDHC slot and physically pull out the card (it is supposed to have a spring action, so i really should be able to just press it and it must pop out when the card is not stuck).the microSD slot still functions (spring action functions fine), but i'm almost certainly not going to use it any longerhas a cheap really feel to it, but that's what you expect for this price tag i recommend you use a microSD to SD adapter and just use the SD slot mainly because there's just about no opportunity of it acquiring stuck in there

Works as advertised, and is extremely convenient. You are able the hide the short USB cable in the back for travel, and it incorporate a USB coupler for when you are not capable to tether close to your machine. Have not had a single card I've put in it but that did not work. My 1, and only, complaint is not actually a massive deal, but admittedly I do not like the spring in / spring out mechanism on the smaller card slots. The card had a challenging time going in correctly on my 1st attempts, but following I realized the angle to push it in at, it was not, and has not been, a problem considering that. Functions appropriately, just unique. If you locate oneself in need of a card reader, and don't want to obtain an interal reader, you would be a food to pass this one particular up. It's a gem, and at a excellent price tag.
