Cons: None

Pros: Faster than USB 2.0Faster than my old 3.5" card reader
Comment:
It has been working perfectly so far. I hardly ever need to read/write to a memory card on my computer, so this is just a good back-up for me. I will update  if it stops working or if I find another issue with it.

Cons: none unless you want to it be able to install into a 3.5" bay

Pros: Indeed faster than usb2.0compact
Comment:
Yes it is usb3.0 speed. My SanDisk Extreme CF UDMA 60MB/s when up to 80 read, 60 write. Very nice. For a 64GB SDXC I, read was 46, write was only 10. I believe this is an excellent reader for those that uses professional cameras that use super high speed CFs.

Cons: Gaudy drive access light

Pros: USB 3.0FastSmallSturdy
Comment:
This allows full-speed access to the faster flash memory cards coming out now. On some card readers, the USB 2.0 interface would be a bottleneck, but not with this one - you will be able to use the full speeds of these new cards. It supports all the latest card formats - SDHC, SDHC UHS-I, SDXC, SDXC UHS-I and microSD (without an adapter). The firmware can be updated so it might be able to support future standards. It's fairly small and feels quite sturdy, with a brushed metal case and an angled, solid-feeling, glossy front. Cards slot in firmly and smoothly, with little free play once inserted.About the only thing detracting from it is the drive access light, which consists of a large Kingston logo that's brightly backlit when a card is inserted and flashes on drive access.

Cons: Wish it had a USB port in front not not waste my USB3 port.

Pros: Super fast Card reader. it was reading and writing to my SanDisk 64GB SDXC 45mb/s rated card at around 40-43mb/s, so basically the max the card could put out.Great price on saleOnly tried with SDXC, SDHC cards.

Cons: no rubber feet

Pros: Smallcable(long enough)usb 3.0external
Comment:
This product is good overall. It uses usb 3.0 to transfer data which is quite faster compared to usb 2.0. The card reader Kingston Logo glows red when there's something inserted.I thing that I would like to see from this good product is for it to have rubber feet. Without it, the card reader is prone to slip when inserting the card into it. I used sticky tact for my quick fix.

Cons: - Wrapped in rage wrap- Kinda bright

Pros: - Fast and great performance for the price
Comment:
The Kingston logo lights up when a card is inserted and there's read/write activity but unfortunately it's a tad bright. On the upshot the price is great and the performance you can wring out of it is top notch.

Cons: light on top is a bit bright.

Pros: Fast, reliable.
Comment:
Get this card reader even if you only have USB2 now! You will appreciate it when you upgrade to a computer which has USB3.0. Its an extremely reliable card reader even if you dont buy it for the increased speed. This card reader does everything as expected, and is quite fast when connected to a USB3.0 port. When using a Sandisk Extreme 16gb SDHC card I get about 45 MB/sec read. The other thing I like about this reader is that it works every time, and does not get "confused" when I plug/unplug the card many times, unlike some of the generic cheap readers I have purchased in the past.

Pros: easy too install and useread all the cards i put in
Comment:
It works well the light is too bright and there are now 4 removable drive appearing in my windows explorer i wish they would appear only when a card is present in a slot.

It's a decent card reader, reliable and fast, that is, once you manage to get your SD card in...usually takes me couple of attempts to find the perfect angle.

Pros: Lightning fast!
Comment:
Fastest I've ever experienced downloading raw files from CF cards. I can never go back to USB 2 after using this. I now have two of these and am completely satisfied with its performance. Price has gone down quite a bit in just a few months. $18.99 sale price is a steal!

Cons: Only 4 card slots versus the Verbatim brand with 5 or 6 card slots.

Pros: USB 3.0, compact, relatively long cord, USB 2.0 compatible, supports SDXC, supports UHS-I speeds, LOGO lights up when active and flashes during activity/data transfer, can use the multiple card type slots simultaneously & eject the card type slots independantly. Detects as a bootable Zip device in some PCs if connected during POST/Bootup, on sale for $20 or less you get faster speed support for the same price as USB 2.0 card readers, even the packaging is nice and compact and efficient blister pack making very little packaging waste to toss.
Comment:
What can I say? I bought it to support higher card speeds and to be able to manipulate multiple cards simultaneously. I have yet to do a performance test with this reader on a USB 2.0 port running a UHS-I SD card. My hope is that the reader will use the UHS-I speed regardless of the port type the reader is connected to. At the very least I hope there is still some performance gain using this reader on a USB 2.0 port versus using a USB 2.0 reader. This and the verbatim are the only 2 models I've encountered that support SDXC and high speed UDMA CF cards and UHS-I transfer rates. This review was modfied by poster @ 09-08-12 05:24 PM

Cons: cheesy Kingston logo

Pros: FAST! works as it should
Comment:
If you shoot high res photos or transfer large files to SD cards for a tablet or phone then you NEED a USB 3.0 reader. The difference in transfer times is incredible. I have this unit double side taped to the bottom of my desk so it is fairly hidden and I love it.

Cons: The bright lit up Kingston light on top but nothing that a piece of gaffers tape didn't quickly cover up.

Pros: F-A-S-T fast. Price (compared to equivalent Sandisk & Lexar products).
Comment:
Smokin' fast file transfers from my Sandisk Extreme Pro UHS-I SDHC cards. Fantastic when you have 800+ Raw files to transfer at the end of the day.
