Cons: Somewhat bulky designRelatively inexpensive

Pros: Functions as intendedCompatibility/MultifunctionalIncluded extension cable
Comment:
The design is a bit bulky which makes using it, at a rear Mobo I/O or if you have a lot of surrounding USB devices, somewhat troublesome; however, the included extension cable rectifies that problem.Final note, I managed to price-match it to $10 from $17.

Comment:
When I purchased this, I was originally looking for an internal card reader because I prefer to have everything in my desktop(Hard drives etc) I find it less of a pain than having to connect several cables to get the job done. However internal card readers generally have very poor reviews. So I purchased this, and I have no regrets. On Windows 7, drivers automatically installed very fast with no issues. Transfer from my SDHC card were very fast and better than the speeds offered by my HP CP1518 and HP CM1412 MFP Laser Printers. I would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone. Especially if they are considering an internal card reader.

Cons: Doesn't come with long USB cordFairly wide.

Pros: Works with Linux 2.6.xxWorks with SDHC cardsSupports SD and microSD form factorsCan turn SD cards into flash drives.
Comment:
Works perfectly with Linux 2.6.xx (tested on Ubuntu 10.04) and with SDHC cards. Pair this up with the Rapid Photo Downloader app for a fast and painless photo download solution in Linux. The plastic housing can be pulled around the SD card so that it turns the SD card into a flash drive. This device supports two form factors (SD and microSD) so it is fairly wide compared to simple USB-to-SD "dongles". To fit in a USB slot with a neighboring USB device already plugged in, you need to use the supplied USB "pigtail" extension.

Cons: Flimsy build. Bigger than what I expected. More photos with the product to understand how the case slides would be better.

Pros: Good deal when on sale.
Comment:
Does what it's supposed to do but it could have a better design. Transfer speed is OK. The sliding parts don't look solid enough. Would buy it again for the price I paid, though.

Cons: Too wide.

Pros: Fast, SDHC and microSD compatible, reliable, inexpensive.
Comment:
The SDHC card reader that I got on eBay had started to have reliability issues so I was looking for a new one. I bought that reader because it was very small, and only read SD cards. The multi-card readers are more bulky and often identify as five drives even with only one card in, and certainly can't be used to turn a SD card into a pocket flash drive. This card reader works as it should; it's reasonably fast, it's read any card I put in it, up to 32GB so far. You can extend the end to protect the SD card if you're going to put it in your pocket. My only complaint is that it's wide enough to block the USB ports beside it when I plug it into my USB hub without an extension cable.

Cons: -none so far.

Pros: -Dependable/durable-Inexpensive
Comment:
Bought this a while back to replace a 3.5" bay reader that died very prematurity. I don't foresee a similar fate for this unit. Has great speeds with my class 10 card. Seems like a very good portable option, now if Kingston only made a 3.5" bay reader...

Cons: none!

Pros: Compact sizeFast transfersReasonable priceWell designed sliding coversIncludes a cable for tight spaces
Comment:
I only need to read SD cards, so I was very happy to find the Mobilelite as an alternative to the big multi-format readers. It's not too expensive, it's small and it reads SDHC.The transfers are much faster than straight from my camera, approximately twice as fast.It is very well designed, both ends are retractable to protect the USB plug and the card inserted in it, and it comes with a small cable to fit in those tight spaces (most USB ports, that is).Having paid a fraction of the regular price, I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Pros: - Solid, small and fast- Comes with small USB Male/Female extension cable
Comment:
I needed a reader for my Wii SD Cards. I was using my camera to be able to transfer files on them which was a real pain each time. With this it's so fast to plug it and they gave a extension USB Cable. What a great idea from Kingston, on my Antec 902 if I got something else plugged in one of the two available front usb ports I am not able to plug the Kingston G2 because it's to wide so that's why they included the USB Extension cable.

Pros: -compact size-reads SDHC and MicroSDHC cards-good build quality-sliding covers (USB and card slot end)-3" USB extension cable included
Comment:
The most common memory card readers seem to be the big units that handle 30 different cards etc. All I needed was SD card support and a really small unit to carry in my laptop bag - the Kingston reader fits those requirements nicely. There are two sliding covers on each end and a lanyard so I guess the designers envisioned it be carried on your key-chain. I would say its a little large for that unless you are one of those people who have crazy key-chains with way too much stuff attached! The sockets for the SD & micro SD are well constructed so it should provide reliable operation. Win7 x64 detected/configured it ~15 seconds. Reads all my SD, SDHC and micro SD/HD cards without issue. The included 3" USB extension cable is to allow the reader to be connected to USB ports with tight spacing.
