Fast card reader that works great with Sandisk Extreme Pro SDHC (95MB/s) cards. I use it to transfer pictures from my SD to computer and gets around 100MB/s burst speeds. Downside is that it gets pretty warm if plugged in for a while and it makes rattling noises. |

Good thing I only paid $10 for this thing, or I'd be perturbed. It has sliding slots to hide the USB port and to ? make it easier to put in and take out cards ? But the construction of these sliders is so cheap and flimsy that it takes more effort to align the cards than the benefit gained (which is pretty much none) by the feature. Should have just done without the slidy gimmicks and made a solid piece of hardware.That said, almost any $10 USB 3.0 reader is a good deal |
The brightness of blue indicating LED is VERY low and the LED itself is located deep inside the device so it can hardly be seen and actually useless. Consider it as actually missing.
