I actually mounted these in my tv cabinet with a 12v wall wart adapter. they are being used to cool me av equipment while allowing me to keep the front door to the av cabinet closed.Great fans, very quiet. |

I thought I would try these as a budget alternative over Noctua's. They are indeed completely silent, but they also don't move much air. The Noctua fans are just as silent and move more air as well, but they are also more than twice the cost. Considering that, these are a great alternative. |

Bought them to replace the loud sanyo denkis in my supermicro 5x3.5 cages. Worked well enough to cool my green drives, sound was negligible but they moved less air than my 92mm noctuas. But when PMed for $5.70, they're also a fraction of the cost. Would buy again. |
These fans are great. They are super quiet yet still have a good air flow. I replaced my server fans with these and it is now bareable to hear the sound.
