Washability is very nice, and it can be rolled up for portability. If this is going to be your work keyboard, however, be warned the key layout may not match the picture. The space bar, Enter key, and shift keys on ours are made of separate smaller keys each, and it can be disconcerting hitting them in between until you get used to hitting one of the pieces each time. Also, the keys have a good bit of vertical travel, so the rubber tends to kind of roll over to one side as you press them, meaning the keys don't go straight down when you type. One other bother is that the cord interface block shown in the picture is on the right, which means your mouse ends up WAAY off to the right side of your desk, and on our desktop this means we don't have much room left for movement. It's almost 12 inches from the right edge of the Enter key to the nearest useable mouse position, which may cause ergonomic issues for some people.

It takes a little getting used to, but after a while it feels great. I type a lot and it's very comfortable. My grandkids use it too, and I don't worry about spills or sticky keys. The price is right, too! Thanks for a great product.

Bought 3 of these. Keyboard has empty keys, with no function. I asked developer if they could be assigned functions. No, they are just empty. Space bar is too small. Most of all, DO NOT FUNCTION with apple.

I purchased two of these for use at our waterjet cutting facility. Within one shift, the operators were looking for their old keyboard. It does seem well made and has a nice "click" feel when typing. The main complaint I got was that it was too easy to activate keys (for those who rest their hand or type low on the keyboard). this causes CAD based applications to either start or end commands unexpectably. Probably would work fine for someone that types with a good posture or smaller hands.

I have this keyboard on a computer desk with a built in wrist rest. That makes the space bar REALLY hard to hit because the keyboard sits completely flat on the desk. Also, some of the keys seem to not respond as expected (maybe I'm having trouble hitting them too). Otherwise I like this product.

have purchased over 20 of these keyboards. Although better than standard boards they are not as indestructible as advertised. Quality control is inconsistent.

I purchased this keyboard for a Network Back-Up machine - in rough use - where items are often heaped on the keyboard. This keyboard is rugged and tough in spades, and can take any abuse - but using it is another thing, the keyboard never lays completely flat, and typing is slow - the intended purpose of this keyboard is occasional data entry - do not try to use it to type your English Essay, or you will need an extra term in University just to complete the typing. I would buy again for this purpose, but there is a trade off between being rugged and user friendly - nevertheless, a great value so long as the intended purpose is served.

Good keyboard, it takes a little time to get use to it, but you'll be using it like any normal keyboard pretty fast. Most of the time i work on my laptop and this keyboard provides me with the numpad and I can roll it up to transport it. It is really wide, and it will take a lot of space off your work area, also It is as silent as how you type, if you hit the keys you'll still be making a fair amount of noise. But my girlfriend appreciates this keyboard when she's trying to sleep.

I bought this keyboard to use with my MacBook. I run it through a USB Hub and it works just fine. None of the spec sheets say that it will work for a Mac but it does just fine. I wish it did have some media controls on it but other than that, it works great. Flat, responsive, and easy to use. Plus you can roll it up and throw it in your laptop bag to bring along!

Love this product! Don't know who posted the bad review, but Tiger doesn't sell the FLX-1000, and hasn't in some time. They carry all of the latest version of keyboards though. I called and spoke with Jason Conner when my keyboard stopped working, I provided proof of purchase to him, and he issued an return authorization on the spot. I found them to be professional and curtious. Just remember, you only get back what you put out to others!

Got this keyboard for Christmas to help with travel. I was toting around a full Dell kb for my laptop. For space savings, I give it 5 stars. However, I have had problems with it not registering random keys. For instace, earlier today, the A key did not work at all. Now it does. Just unplugging it and reinserting the USB connector does not fix it either. You have to reboot. The other issue, which I suspected, is the amount of pressure you need to apply to the keys to make them work: it's not consistent, but typically it takes much more force than a standard keyboard. If you buy it, be ready to adjust to the keys, they are rubber, so somewhat tacky. Other than that, it beats using the tiny keyboard on my laptop.

I absolutely love my keyboard! I was so excited when I got it because it worked great! This is such a great keyboard to have if you have kids that like to spill or eat/drink around your computer while you do work! I love it!

Incredible keyboard! I love the flexibility, and being able to spill on it and being able to take it into the sink and rinse it off. It's great! Just wish it had media center controls such as play, pause, volume +/-, etc. But, it's still a great buy!

Good keyboard for those who hammer away at their desks late at night and don't want to disturb their family. Silent, but I found that not striking the center of the keys (as I do being a bad typer), the keys tilted to the side and made typing a little awkward. I eventually got used to it. Letters on the keys did not wear off as people have suggested in other reviews I read. New keyboard however had a large air bubble inside it and made typing near impossible at first. Had to take a knife and slice a small hole over one of the keys and squeeze the air out before using it. So much for being waterproof now.

Excellent keyboard, I bought it because it is fully washable, really good idea when you eat at your desk, I also have one of those ScrollSeal washable mice. I've had this keyboard about a year now and have had no problems with it. My only complaints are minor, keys get pressed when you try to move it, and I wish that box on the end was above the keypad, but I guess they did that so you could roll it up. They should come out with a version that doesen't roll up, they could just stick a sheet of metal or hard plastic in it to make it rigid, then it could have feet molded on the bottom of it. They should also make a universal remote using this idea.

Good Keyboard...but not perfect. Having a durable, rubber keyboard is fine for reducing keystroke noise and cleaning time. Response is better than expected and the feel is comfortable after a few days of getting used to it. My negative is that the print on the keys is almost completely work off after about one month of heavy use. Just from my fingers, I didn't use any cleaning product on it...the keys just wore off. All in all I am pleased because the price is right. If anything, I will learn the key locations now since they are no longer visable. Also, Tiger Direct always ships fast and correct. Great service.

A lot better than I expected for the price. The keys tend to toggle in different directions when pressed, which is a little disconcerting at first but nothing I can't get used to, and it hasn't slowed me down at all. No stress on the wrists either, since it's so flat you don't flex your wrist at all -- it's like typing on your desktop. And then there's the noise, or lack thereof. I tend to really pound a keyboard when I type, and this one takes it in spades with hardly any sound at all. My coworker loves the new quiet! Great value for the money, now everyone around here wants one.

Keyboard works great, just got it today. The backspace bar takes a little getting used to but over all this is a great keyboard. Another great feature this key board has is that it allows you to put you computer in sleep mode, shutdown, and turn back on with the simple touch of a button.

For starters, I bought this keyboard to accompany my new X-Box 360. For a gamer this board is awesome. It's very quiet very durable. When I travel, by plane usually, I throw my 360 in my my back pack, ball the keyboard up and throw it in there with it, it unfolds perfectly every time. Plus being a gamer I usually have a drink nearby, if one gets spilt on the keyboard, you just wash it off, easy as that. Kudos, GrandTec.

We've purchased >20 of these for use in our very busy academic library, and have used them for about a year on all our email and catalog terminals. They are the quietest keyboard we've found (the only reason we use them) and the noise level in our main reading room has gone down significantly since installing them. Some patrons love the feel of the keys while others hate it. They are NOT indestructible. We had several over multiple orders arrive with non-functioning keys (b,v,shift) and exchanged them. The letters on the keys will eventually rub off. Keys have also stopped working after non-abusive use. So far (5) have been replaced due to keys that eventually failed. But for +-$15 it is worth it for their quiet operation. It would be nice if they were more durable and quality control in China better, however.

I LOVE this keyboard! Granted, I've only had it a few hours now, but I'm ordering one for home and will probably convert the whole office to them within a few weeks. I'm an experienced typist (about 90wpm), so I thought it might be difficult for me to adjust to the different feel, but it wasn't...I'm not typing at 90wpm, yet, but my speed and accuracy have barely been affected so I expect I will be, soon. Love this keyboard.
