Cons: No molex power adapter

Pros: Good air flowQuiet operationVoltage regulatorsheathed cableBeautiful LED
Comment:
This case fan moves a lot of air quietly. You could hardly hear it except the sound of air flow. If you want to further reduce noise level, it comes with a dialler voltage regulator. Unlike that of most other case fans which allow only two RPM speeds, this voltage regulator allows many different RPM levels by adjusting between 7 volts and 12 volts. This fan has beautiful LED when in operation. Its cable is well sheathed. The only one minor drawback is that it doesn't come with a molex power adapter, which would be a minor inconvenience if your mother board runs out of fan headers.

Cons: Full price (that said, it goes on sale often)

Pros: Looks great with UV lights in your case.Silent.Comes with it's own fan controllerSleeved fan cable
Comment:
I'm using it as an exhaust for my case, which has UV cold cathodes already. I switched from a Yate Loon with Blue LED since I found the blue LEDs were overpowring the UV effect. As this one did not have a LED, I was glad to see it looked a lot better. It's a bit on the expensive side for price, but if you can get it for $16 or so on sale (which it is often), it's a great pick up. I didn't need the fan controller which probably caused the price to be a bit higher it should have been. But on sale, it's a great pick up.

awesome fans that i would not question buying again, really quiet as i don't even use one of the speed controllers that came with it. Even on max its very quiet and push's the perfect amount of air. Ohh and also looks damn awesome with UV lights!

Cons: - none

Pros: - silent- pushes a lot of air- removable fan blade for easy cleaning
Comment:
I bought 3 of these. 1 for the rear exhaust and 2 attached to my Corsair H100 as exhaust as well. These work better than the stock corsair fans that come with the dual rad despite what the specs say. Even at low, you can feel air being blown through the fins compared to the stock fans. Definitely an upgrade. I use these in conjunction with UV cathodes and white LED strip. Absolutely stunning! Plus they run silently!

Pros: -pushes good amount of air-nice sleeved cable-comes with a fan controler

Those fans are a little bit overpriced. Great quality though. It's made robust but a little bit loud.I would look for noctua fans instead of those next time.

Cons: -Seems to require a lot of force to remove blade for cleaning-Expensive

Pros: -Push good amount of air-Quiet even at full speed with no motor noise-Undervolt very well-Sleeved cable-Fan controller and rubber mounts included-Great looks
Comment:
I have 3 in my 600t currently, 2 are on my megahalems heatsink and 1 is being used as an exhaust fan. They don't make any motor noise due to the magnetic bearing and they have exceeded my expectations in terms of performance and quality. Highly recommended!

Comment:
Awesome fans, my personal favorite. Great for cases or radiators.Includes a lot of accessories (rubber mounts, screws, fan controller)The fan blades are supposed to be removable but that doesn't seem to be the case (or if they do it requires a lot of force).

Review Date: 03/30/11
Cons: poor fan blade geometry, list price

Pros: static presure*, good value after PM, good noise/performance ratio
Comment:
This fan is a little overhyped. There I said it. But ignoring the price, almost everything about this fan is good. Here's the catch, the fan blade geometry leaves a fairly large gap between the fan blades and the fan frame. This normally isn't an issue, until you put a high static load next to either side of the fan. A lot of airflow leaks backwards and gets recycled by the fan. That is a huge impact on the greatest strength of this fan, the very high static pressure. Despite this issue, the fan still performs well in high static environments though. The bearing design on the other hand, is brilliant. It's a hybrid sleeve/ball bearing design that takes the strengths of each design and puts them together to reduce the weaknesses of the other design. Also, the fan needs more struts on the blades, turbulence isn't dealt with very well with the single strut on the end of each fan blade.

Cons: - These are good fans that will get the job done but not the best out there for the price. I'm satisfied with their performance but my purchase was based on form over function. I just really like their look. - These fans have a .22A rating (some user tests have shown it to be .16A at 12V) so you can't chain too many to a fan controller channel. Definitely not advisable on most motherboard headers.

Pros: - Pushes a good amount of air - Build quality is good- Looks great with or without UV lighting- Sleeved cable- Removable Impeller- Rubber fan mounts- Fairly quiet- Comes with fan speed controller (5V, 12V)- Nice packaging
Comment:
Good solid fans that look great but it's a bit too expensive when they're not on sale or price matched.

Review Date: 12/23/10
Cons: -Ridiculously expensive without Price Match or sale-If you like LEDs, then the lack of LEDs might be a problem.-Fan controller is not a 4 pin connector (so I could re-use my stock CM Hyper 212 Plus fan)

Pros: -Pushes a lot of air-Silent (no motor noise at all, just the sound of air flowing)-UV blue color-No flashy LEDs-Removable "impellers" for easy cleaning
Comment:
I bought 2 of these to put on my Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus heatsink. They are much quieter than the stock fan that came with the heatsink. I cannot hear any motor noise from the fans, just the sound of air flowing. However, I will say that "regular price" for this fan is way too much. Price match it or wait for a sale. As well, the fan controller included is not a 4 pin connector, so if you want to control other fans that have 4 pins, you will have to mod the connectors.Despite the weaknesses, this is one of the best fans that you can buy at NCIX, if you hate Noctua colours.

Cons: not the PL :(

Pros: silentish..
Comment:
compare to CM R4 k 2000RPM this 64.3cfm is a step down but as well in dBa. The trade im willing to make in a second! It doesnt make an annoying sound but its noticeable like all fans >60cfm but this one stands out because changing from 600-1500RPM is 12-25dba which i believed in my experience. This is the best silent fan today! do your homework and actually get one and find out for yourself!getting more of this soon as i finished my MOD NZXT phantom case,HW Black Ice SR1 480+240 Rads w/ push/pull shrouds. Total of 19x120mm + 140mm fans.Wish ncix can get me 6 x UV-Green FN-FW12PL-18 fans :)

Cons: -at 100% speed it runs higher than the advertised 25 dba (reduce the speed to 10-15% and it will be silent)-$19.99 is too expensive. Still can't compare to Noctua fans

Pros: -at 85% max speed it runs silent-pushes a good amount of air-has enough pressure to adequately push air through filters. Better than any coolermaster or Antec fan
Comment:
A very good fan when i bought it on sale (cheap). But a regular price of $19.99 is way too much. GELID fans are very good fans I admit but they are nowhere near Noctua fans in terms of performance. But at least unlike Noctua fans, these look much better. Still not bad for what is probably the 2nd best fans you buy from NCIX.

Cons: noisy

Pros: Appearancefan controllereasy removable bladeprice
Comment:
looking at all other reviews people claim these to be silent/quiet however, I found this fan to be noise when it's running at full rpm.I have it hooked up via molex adapter and if i crank up the fan speed to 100% it's very noisy, I can hear the fan. Maybe I'm doing something wrong here. or maybe not.otherwise, these fans are great addition to your case or whatever you'll be putting these on. rubber mounts are awesome.Fan controller that came with my first set of fan has wonky and wobbly controller stick, I think I'll probably RMA or just get aftermarket fan controller to control all my fans.over all, great fan for the money, Price match comes in super handy with these fans.

Cons: can't think of one right now.

Pros: Price when on sale. Decent amounts of CFM/DBA
Comment:
I like the blue fins, the fan pushes decent amount of air for DBA ratio. Currently using it with a TRUE 120. Nothing much can be said about the fan, its above average and there are better alternative out there. Just got one to test it. I recommend for people who want a good looking fan that does not like LEDs.

Cons: build quality disappointed me. blades could be a little longer, as to improve efficiency.

Pros: quiet. move a lot of air. looks nice when lit up with UV/LEDs.
Comment:
moves a boatload of air, very quietly. there is almost no "fan noise", as much as the 'whoosh' of air moving through, though I personally found it a little grating at 100% speed. at 75% or so, I'm quite happy.the "Nanaflux Bearing", which unfortunately has nothing to do with time travel, is nice and quiet. as far as I understand, it uses magnets to keep everything lined up where it should be to minimize wear and noise. seems to do the job pretty well.the plastic used on the frame of the fan felt cheap. the rubber mounts were a PITA (but I didn't need them for the application so I stopped trying). the mounting holes were designed to only be used with the grommets, so beware when trying to use screws as you'll probably strip the heads clockwise.for me, the performance outweighs the disappointment in the construction. the Noctua P12 or Scythe Kama Flow 2/S-Flex would probably serve you just as well.

Pros: -powerful, and quieter than my antec tricool at the same speeds.-packed with a fan controller, which I didn't need, but it's still nice for those without fan controllers.-These look great under UV Light-The blades are removable, which is good if you want to clean out the dust that gets there.
Comment:
I have five fans in my case: two of these, one antec tricool 120mm and 120mm and 140mm CM fans that came with my Gladiator 600 case. These are definitely my favourites. The UV blue looks awesome, they are quieter than my tricool and they move more air than the Cooler Master fans. The Gelids also have more features, like the removable blades and the rubber fan mounts.

Cons: UV blue, not the best dollar for your performance

Pros: UV blue, nice shiny black, comes with rubber mounts and a fan controller.
Comment:
The UV blue is personal preference, i dont mind it since i cant see the fan in my case. There are other fans that perform just as well for cheaper, but they dont come bundled with the goodies the gelid wing 12's have. The bearings are also nice, they will last much longer than sleave bearings and wont have issues with horizontal mounting. The blades can also be removed from the impeller easily for cleaning, and... ... IT'S WATERPROOF! And it works under water!
