I used this to replace the fan on my cpu cooler. It's so quiet I set my motherboard to constantly run the fan at 100%. It also moves the air with a decent quantity of pressure which tends to make it successful for circulating air by way of the fins of the cooler I have. None. My motherboard's PWM isn't incredibly good; it isn't incredibly linear and alternates involving low and maximum. The stock fan I had was terrible at maximum and with the PWM would regularly alter speeds below load and wail-go quiet-wail-go quiet-wail... This fan solved that issue.

They worked for 9 months. Quiet. Horrible, practically non - existent consumer service. I owned two of these fans. I bought them about april or might of 2010, and they worked amazing. About December 5th they each died. I have no explanation, as I havent moved them due to the fact I place them in my case in might. I was considering it was my energy provide, but following running many tests, voltages and load voltages seemed fine, and positive enough my laptop has been operating just fine given that with some spare fans.I contacted Gelid help identical day, and got a response on the 7th. This is the response."It is difficult to comprehend the dilemma. If one fan fails, then it maybe the fan high quality, but if 2 fans burn at thesame time. It could be a problem with your energy provide. An over existing will also burn the fan."I continued to explain how my laptop still works, and I tested my energy supply and all that, and have gotten no response considering that. Their 5 year warranty is a joke.

A solid, substantial, effectively-built, easy black case fan. No flashy LEDs or insane installation specifications. The tiny rubber plug-in booty thingies reduce vibrational noise to match the silence of the fan itself. The little black grommet points that take the location of regular screws are beyond a simpleton like me. I Assume I have them installed correctly (fan hasn't fallen out and doesn't make any noise) but I'm not particular. I am very pleased with this fan. It moves a noticeable amount of air and the temperature inside my case has dropped so this fan does what it's supposed to do. I have a non-side window small type issue case so I don't want anything fancy-seeking.

Move a decent amount of air. I have four total two intake 2 outtake. Rubber/Silicone mounts operate as they must to stop vibration rattle. Not genuinely taking advantage of the PWM function just plugged them into an old Gigabyte K8U-939 three pin header for top rated/rear case fan. Front two are plugged into a four pin molex adapter that came with Lian Li case and powered by means of that. Price tag I guess would be nice to possibly have multipacks with some discount. Mounting the silicon/rubber silencers took some perform employing screwdriver to get them started and a pair of pliers. Gently as possible to prevent tearing. Hands cramped up pulling all these things via so they would seat appropriately. I got far better at it as I went of course but my hand still cramped up working those mounts by means of. Shortly following this acquire and set up I decided to go ahead and do a new build with Cooler Master HAF 932. So upgrading the Lian Li doesn't benefit me any longer. Nevertheless it is nevertheless a quality case and the fans helped so it will be a family hand me down and still get use just not by myself.

this fan won the tests I did of fans in price range of ũ to ฟ. This little gem was extremely quiet and moved a decent quantity of air. Haven't found any Tested a handful of case fans like worth priced fans from Rosewill, Masscool, up to higher priced such as Rexflo and this Gelid Silent 8. The Gelid won hands down. Will definitely acquire once more. If you are seeking for one thing in the worth line, I advise the Rosewill RFA-80-K. It actually took 2nd in the test final results.

Extremely quiet fan. Comes with rubber mounts. Utilized in my HTPC. Louder than the stock cooler for my i-3. I can hear it from eight ft away on my couch. Nonetheless really tolerable.

Straightforward to install, very quiet, plain and easy color scheme None This is a fantastic fan that moves a lot of air without having rattling, buzzing or make any other annoying sound. Its easy installation, quiet operation, and lack of annoying bright LEDs make this a wonderful fan.

Seriously quiet fan. I can't hear the fan in my HTPC. The DVD drive is louder than the fan. It's excellent and it moves the air out rapidly. None I would advocate this item. NewEgg has fantastic rates for these.

Significantly quieter than other case fans but also lower air flow, so far it is proving far more than sufficient for my mid-tower SLI setup as front supply in tandem with a 120mm exhaust none Wyed it (using gelid Y) with my CPU fan to get speed manage in BIOS minimizing noise although idling and letting CPU temp dictate RPM works like a charm, considerably, considerably quieter, but nevertheless keeping factors cool when gaming i5 750 CPU maxs out around 60 C P7P55 WS motherboard at 30 C.SLI 9800 GTs about 50 CCoolermaster Mid-tower

Quiet, moves a bit of air, high top quality construction, cord is reasonably lengthy and has a temperature sensor pin.But the best part? it comes with an Awesome STICKER WOOT. Doesn't seriously move sufficient air to cool my 125w cpu at full load, but that's not genuinely a difficulty. Free STICKER, YES!!!

Works great! Fan is functional and Really quiet. 4-pin connector perfect for secondary chassis fan, and still works with three-pin connectors. The screwless rubber stand-offs keep any hum/vibration from the case. None I can detect. Given that fans typically get loud more than time, I can't comment on its long-term performance... however!

...they are just as quiet as I required them to be inside a new case I have built simply because I got rather tired of the noise coming out of my video capturing and processing method. The thing has four 120mm and this 80mm fan and I can not hear any of them. none

Cons: None,

Pros: Low Noise, Rubber Mounts, PWM speed managed!
Comment:
This 80mm fan is one of my favorites because it offers PWM. I love PWM over all the other schemes because it seems to offer the best low noise solution and perfect cooling I've found. Also, the construction just reeks of perfectness.

Pros: quiet, easy to install, easy to clean

Nice and quiet fans. The rubber things were easy to install and seems very stable. The one thing I don't like is the fact that they don't look very strong, but its only been 4 days so it remains to be seen if they can hold up.

Cons: 4pin is not for molex but a 4pin fan like the CPU to mobo one, carefull

Pros: Awesome Quite Fan, Great CFM good quality
Comment:
I bought one of these for my case, it runs so quitely I am just amazed. Only little problem was the connection (4pins) I tought it was a molex one, but it is not molex, but a 4pins fan like the CPU to Mobo one. However I had some 4pins to 3pins and 4pins to molex adaptors cables.

Cons: none so far

Pros: Got it on discount
Comment:
Well, I got it for my old hp computer. This size isn't right so I have to do some adjustment on my own. I don't wanna do exchange cuz that's gonna cost me 15% restocking fee. So far it runs well. That's a shame cuz I don't use that computer that often. (Spare computer)
