Cons: Price
Pros: Dual x16 pcie 3.0 lanesEasy overclock Comment:
A bit expensive but one of few z77 boards with dual x16 pcie lanes. Yes it is via PLX PEX 8747 chip so it probably isn't very good compared to a x79's true pcie lanes but its a start. Currently running crossfire 7970ghz. |

This board would've been great had it worked with my ASUS gtx 670's. RMA'd |
Good day,I must first explain that I wanted this MOBO to properly work for me but ...I personnaly believe for any gamer using a GTX690 this motherboard can not be recommended. Even with the most recent BIOS Update, the motherboard will NOT start in any way if a GTX690 videocard if connected to the PCI-E slot #1[16x]. The temporary solution is to connect it to any other PCI-E Slot ... But what if you wish to SLI ??? Sadly the onboard sound card solution is not an option because using the SPIDF-Out is ONLY in stereo [2.0] NOT in Surround Sound [5.1] ... Sad, just sad ; (
