Cons: Pretty heavy. Would have been nice to have Longer battery power life (to watch a full 2 hour movie). Lacking a few nice things like full on ThnuderBolt port, or e-sata. No Firewire connectivity of any kind. Would have been nice to be upgradeable to 32GB memory at this price and to have included a N450 or AC wireless connection.
Pros: Pretty fast, quiet, nice little extras like quick charge USB port and face logon. Good screen. Included a nice backpack case and high DPI wired mouse. 2 year waranty and 1 year accidental damage protection. All USB ports are 3.0. Includes 2 750GB HDDs. |
Overall, a nice little beast. Thoughtfully designed. Screen had no dead or bright pixels. Note that only bright pixels are covered by their no bright pixel policy. Overall, a pretty good balance of features included and lacking features. 2 HDDs are a must have where planning to use an SSD.This unit comes with only 2GB of video memory, not 3GB as stated in the description,
