Cons: Bad overclocker

Pros: InexpensiveEasy setup

What can you say about a motherboard that costs $43 (on sale)? It's functional. The box contains only enough cables for one SATA drive and one IDE drive, but that's all I need.I've built two E5200 systems with this board, one is a general-purpose development/file server for school work, and the other was a replacement for a dead Socket 939 system. Both are performing well. This board is an inconsistent overclocker. On one system I was able to get a 25% overclock, on the other a mere 4%.As an inexpensive board for a budget system, this board is functional.

Cons: - Only 2 slots for RAM- No Gigabit LAN (do most people really need that?!?)- Single PCIe16 (but what do you expect for $40?!?)- Didn't come with as many extra cables (e.g. SATA)

Pros: - Inexpensive- Good quality- Lots of options in BIOS- PCIe16 is available (1 slot)

I bought this board after my XFX i680 failed after less than 2 years. This is an excellent budget/basic board but good enough for casual gamer like myself. The overclocking options aren’t too bad either but certainly will not be good enough for hardcore oc’ers. Fast boot option and layout is elegant for mATX. For around $40, you can’t lose. Cons: - lack of HDMI support- no gigabit lan- scrooge with the amount of cables provided. 1xsata and 1xparallel

Pros: - inexpensive- all necessary inputs/outputs covered- clear unambiguously name board connectors
Comment:
Bought the board as a foundation for a new computer for the parents. Cobbled together with a E6300 1.86, 7900 GS and a Seagate 500gb.The motherboard was simple to install with clear instructions. All the drivers are located on the CD, though some of the drivers are at least dependent on Windows XP SP1 to install. A tad annoying for those with a vanilla XP installation disc still. The board is designed in many ways that the airflow can move through the case properly with strategic placements of connectors. The bios was easy to setup, with nothing ambiguous. You can easily overclock the CPU, RAM or Video Card with no extra effort. One complaint that can be had, is the fact the motherboard barely comes with any extra accessory cables. Which means for those doing a completely new build, be prepared to buy more cables thus having to spend more money then necessary.Overall for a budget build, one cannot go wrong with this board. Would recommend for those not looking to spend a whole lot on the computer, and still get good bang for their buck.

Cons: 2 DDR3 SlotsNot enough USB ports

Pros: Powerful motherboard; Asrock features Instant Boot and OC Tuner.

In Summary, it is a great value board. I picked it up on sale for just under $50. You can't go wrong with an unbeatable value brand; the quality is normal. It is not cheaply made and is very decent for a upgrade from an old Celeron system that my buddy was using. He is very satisfied!

Cons: The system sometimes has issue coming out of sleep but I don't know if that's related to the board or Windows 7 RC's Media Center.

Pros: Inexpensive and it works. Good layout but I only have a single hard disk (SATA) and optical drive (IDE) connected.
Comment:
What can you say about a board that cost $42? It works and that's really all I was hoping from it. I had enough components to throw together a quick pc just to record television shows with Media Center and its done its job admirably. There's been an issue when I use the power button on my remote the system comes back fine but when I play a recorded show there's just a blank screen and I have to reset. I don't think that its the board and probably a Win7 RC problem. I wouldn't trust it as my main system or for any aggressive over-clocking but for an inexpensive secondary use system, the ASROCK board seems to be great.

Cons: only 2 ram slots no raid but thats to be expected at this price.

Pros: Very low cost with overclocking features and super fast boot up is super fast, and has descent overclocking, also has 4 sata and can take a quad core and run Vista 64.
Comment:
In short this is the cheapest new mobo I've ever bought ,and it really surprized me because I was expecting a slow basic computer but instead I got a board that is more than descent even for a budget gaming rig, I put a 9800GT with E6600 2.4 and overclocked it to 3.2 with no problems, thats not to bad concidering this chip can do 3.6 on a Asus 650i Sli board witch cost me 3.5 times as much, if your looking for a board for your spare parts this one should be on your short list 43.99 how can you go wrong?.
