Cons: Not made out of a solid steel plate so that it doesn't flex like every other motherboard.

Pros: Well laid out for building. Good BIOS options, though Gigabyte software is a little cheesy to look at, without much noticeable influence.USB3 is a plus.
Comment:
This is a great motherboard, for which I have no complaints. For $10 less, you could get a motherboard from another company with a few less features; for an extra $30+, you could maybe get an mATX with the same specs, or an ATX with one more PCI-e slot (though it would probably only work in x8/x8 instead of something crazy like x16/x16--not that this one can do x16/x16...). If you only want one graphics card, or even if you don't want any, this is probably the best mATX board for the money (at least, that I could find, and I do not regret the purchase, in any way).

Cons: Position of the front audio port

Pros: usb 3.0sata 3.0esataddr3mAtxHDMI
Comment:
my only complaint I have about this board is where the front audio port is located on the motherboard and I would love to see more fan connections on it rather then the couple we get that are in the way of other stuff or just right in the way for nice cable management. Overall though I bought this for a HTPC build and it does wonders, the onboard video delivers all I need for movies and tv shows and basic ROM games can be played on it just fine. I really got to try getting a AMD chip that will unlock to use on this, would be fun :)

Cons: None so far

Pros: - Tons of features for the price (SATA 3, USB 3.0, eSATA, HDMI)- Good on-board video support- Convenient audio drivers and software
Comment:
Bought this motherboard for a budget build. Delivers more than enough for browsing, word processing and common tasks. Good support for HD video playback. The software for the integrated audio controller offers a lot of features and configurations. Highly recommended!

Cons: lacking accessory packagewobbly heatsink

Pros: mATXgood onboard videousb3/sata 6gb/s
Comment:
Worked well for what i intended it for. Small mATX board size with powerful features. USB3.0, Sata 6GB/s, great onboard video.Accessory package somewhat lacking. Not enough sata cables, did not include crossfire bridge. Also had a slightly wobbly heatsink, I noticed some people posted the same problems with the heatsink.

Cons: Video output isn't 100% compatible with HDTVs.

Pros: Unlocked Phenom II cores, lots of features / ports.
Comment:
Good board. I like having 2x USB3, tons of USB ports, and how easily it unlocked the cores in my Phenom II X2 555 (turned it into a X4 just by enabling "Unlock Cores"). The drivers and software tools for the onboard features are decent but not great. A Cooler Master Hyper 212+ blocks one ram slot. The one problem I had was with using it as a HTPC board. When connected to my 1920x1080 24" LCD monitor, it fills the screen properly. But, connected to my 46" Sony 1080p TV via HDMI or DVI, the image only fills 80-90% of the screen. I installed an old, cheap video card and the image filled the TV screen, so there is something slightly incompatible between the TV and the board.

Cons: Only 1 PCI and 1 PCI-e x4

Pros: Cost, looks, SATA3, USB3, onboard video and output options
Comment:
I used this in a budget build for someone who didn't want to have to upgrade for a while. I've had good luck with Gigabyte motherboards, and this one was somewhat future-proofed by having USB3 and SATA3. It will probably never unlock any disabled cores or cache and will also never be overclocked. But all those options are there if the owner does want to pursue those avenues.I dunno about putting two PCIe-x16 slots on a mATX board; would you buy two video cards for crossfire and then put them in *this* board? I wouldn't, but then I'll never crossfire anything anyway.Nice that it has D-Sub (VGA), DVI, *and* HDMI outs for the onboard video. Excellent board layout, and worked just fine with Mushkin Enhanced Silverline DDR3.

Comment:
I have never built a AMD system but because of my tight budget, I turned to AMD. This mobo is much cheaper than Intel's one for the same level of features and functionalities. The greatest thing about this board is the integrated graphics: an ATI integrated graphics is powerful enough for lots of use. Although you can add an decent discrete graphics card if you want some gaming. This board also supports USB3 and SATA3, which is very useful few months/a year later.

Cons: Location of SATA ports if large graphics card.

Pros: Great mobo for HTPC or cube case setup. Good RAM overclocking abilities.
Comment:
SATA3 is currently all marketing as not even SSD can fill a SATA2 pipe. Need to immediately update  the BIOS to optimize performance. Go to ATI website for Catalyst drivers. If you are looking to crossfire go with a 890GX chipset.

Cons: Chipset heatsink can be jiggled easily. I removed it, reapplied AS5 and put it back on.

Pros: Excellent feature set, supports USB3 and SATA3, Gigabyte name and stability
Comment:
I bought this mobo as part of a customer's build along with an Athlon 630. It's a great motherboard offering a nearly identical design and feature set to my previous favorite choice - the MA785GMT-UD2H. The main differences are the addition of USB3 and SATA3 support. The integrated video is just as powerful as the one found on the 785G chipset however this one supports DX10.1 instead of DX10.
