Not a big fan of gigabyte motherboard (prefer Asus or MSI) but the price was good among AM3+ mobos. Able to OC without any effort on this mobo with simple/straight forward bios layout.

Cons: No IDE ports (so might not make a good upgrade board).

Pros: Great board. Lost of USB and Sata ports. Bios come ready for newer AMD processors (bulldozer).
Comment:
Great board for a very powerful value PC. Three PCI-E ports to support both SLI and Crossfire. Lots of space. Old style bios (which may be a feature to some people). Lots of overclocking options in the bios too...although I haven't tested.

Bought this for my first build and i can say that i don't regret it one bit ! The provided instruction and user manual is well explained and will provide you most of the knowledge needed to get started. It has lots of great features and that is the reason this motherboard was selected. Updating the BIOS was a breeze . No cons found yet ! I does the job it was purchased for . I definitely recommend this motherboard to anyone .

Pros: Lots of ports, great budget case., plenty of BIOS settings.

The boot on this motherboard is wicked fast, which is a great thing! But at the same time, the window for pressing a function key is a lot smaller.Great motherboard, plenty of ports!

Pros: 8phase power a upgrade from my old 890gx board with 4phase. nice features and good lay out for pci cards.
Comment:

Pros: AffordablePCI-E x16 slotlots of other slotsUSB charging with PC turned off
Comment:
A good motherboard with support for the modern AM3/AM3+ AMD CPU's. Stable and easy to configure. A good mobo monitoring utility included. I like that you can charge through USB port while the PC is turned off. Of course I bought this for SATA III and USB 3 support as well.

Pros: -stable (after bios update)-works
Comment:
I love this mobo. Works awesome with my AMD Phenom II x6 1090T. I think it's well laid out for connecting fans, sata locations, etc... Had to update  the bios because it kept crashing on me. After that, it ran smooth!

Cons: Only one PCI-e x16 (the other is x8)

Pros: USB 3.06 SATA 3 connectorsAwesome BIOS
Comment:
I bought this bundled with a AMD Phenom II X6 1055T Thuban 6 Core Processor and I find they work great together. It is very easy to overclock because of the excellent BIOS. I have my CPU overclocked 30%. It has lots of USB ports which is a bonus. It has 6 SATA 3 connectors which means you can easily hook up many things to these very fast,6Gbps ports. Comes with a flexible, black SLI cable, which is great. And comes with 4 SATA cables. Noticeable is the fact that there is only 4 fan connectors. You can hook fans up straight to power with the adapters but they are then not monitored and controlled by the motherboard. If you have a lot of fans like me, then 4 runs out too fast. One big Con about this board is that there is only 1 x16 PCI-e slot. The other ones are x8, x4 and x1 so if you do Crossfire or SLI two video cards, it will be at the slower x8 and not x16. Not that the difference very noticeable anyway. But it is a bummer. I do like this board very much and it's a great purchase for the price.

Cons: external SATA brackets not included. My older Gigabyte had them

Pros: - AM3+- USB3- SATA3- RAID- design and layout- and the price
Comment:
An excellent motherboard with fits well with my new 1055T (had before an x3 running on). Bought it initially for the Bulldozer but I better wait for revised Bulldozer CPU's. Nothing to complain about this board, it's specially great for overclocking.

Cons: -Retention bracket limits my Xigmatec 1283 to either up or down position (Really bummed about this)-Bios CPU voltage seems to be posessed-Manual is of little to no help with Tweaking option definitions

Pros: -Great layout-Ditched IDE; room for more important things (Finally!)-Usb ports out the ying yang-Crossfire AND SLI!!! (AMD cpu fan, but Nvidia fan aswell)-Great onboard sound-Great bios
Comment:
-Very disappointed with CPU voltage in bios. At stock it set my 1055T t 1.325v. I added .125v to overclock to 4GHz, only to boot up at 1.58v!!! That is unforgivable, it could have fried my 1055T on the spot. I can`t trust the bios to do what I specify (yes turbo core was disabled....) BIG CON. If someone can tell me the error of my ways, i will happily redo my review, til then boo urns

Cons: USB keyboard initializes too late

Pros: Great BIOS, lots of expansion
Comment:
I love it. The only thing to complain about is that keyboard initializes too late, most of the time, to get into BIOS. The BIOS itself is amazing. Lots of options to overclock your CPU and memory (I haven't done that since I have no need, yet, to oc). Has enough of fan hook ups for three fans, which made me happy. The built-in audio and network adapters are actually pretty good.

Cons: -Shouldve waited for black friday

Pros: -All new features you need-Gigabyte quality
Comment:
Great motherboard offering everything you need to be able to keep it for a long time (AM3+, USB 3.0 and SATA3). PCIE X16 is unique on this board, where the other pcie runs at X8 when on crossfire mode, this might be an issue for the ultra picky people out there, but its generally unnoticeable. Great buy, don't go any cheaper than this.

Pros: Great price-AM3+-USB3-SATA3-XFire-SLI

I bought this during Black Friday with a X6 1055t for 239$ and I must say, I'm really happy with my purchase. This motherboard is packed with tones of features. It might not have a UEFI BIOS, but you have a lot of setting option.
