- Had all the characteristics I wanted - Can't run 16gb of memory. Could only get it to run 12gb; with 16gb it was completely unstable.- Wouldn't play nice with my Asus wireless card- "Hybrid" Bios + AEFI is a joke, anticipate just a Bios I can't help but wish I had under no circumstances bought this board. Steer clear. Manufacturer Response:Thank you for your comments. Honest and constructive opinions are constantly welcome. We apologize for your difficulty with your Gigabyte product. Strong nicely laid out board. this is my fourth Computer develop with Gigabyte Motherboards. I like the BIOS. Ships with a disk that will load all the drivers for you. I don't use the GB software program utilities but they are there and absolutely free. No USB three. connectors in the MB only on the rear panel

I have been running Gigabyte boards for numerous years and have had no problems. I installed this board with an i5-2500K and it booted correct up. I didn't spend much attention to the supported memory speeds as Gigabyte has often had very good overclocking selections. Nonetheless, I can\'t full use the Corsair DDR3 1600 RAM as the board will allow a RAM frequency above 1333. This is apparently an H67 chipset limitation. As usual, explanations of the BIOS settings in the Gigabyte manual leave a lot to be desired.

P5-2500 in Gigabyte h67ma-ud2h-b2. Have two hundred burn in hours on b2 stepping before b3 arrived NO complications. Burn is not accelerated, nominal voltage frequencies and temp. 8 gig pc3 gskill 1333 memory. WD caviar Drives, Cosair powersupply. Zero Errors and core temps under no circumstances exceded 61 C in a 27 atmosphere. Just started testing B3. No Troubles yet. Power consumption is unbelievably low. Waiting to see if the advanced RMA is going to perform as nicely as it appears to be functioning. If all goes as expected, Newegg, Gigabyte and Intel have pulled off the a single of greatest disaster recoverys of all time

headers had been nicely placed, very good cost, outstanding motherboard none mounted this board with a sandybridge i3 2120 and its running like a major also has eight gig of gskill ripjaw ddr3 1333 1.5v and an ati radeon 4850.. machine runs truly smooth and is quiet... case is an antec 600 black. PSU is a Rosewill 600 w from the extreme series.

Great motherboard - high good quality. Integrated video choices. eSATA. good Mofset. This motherboard is not a sturdy overclocking board. With F2 bios, can only set CPU multiplier to max of the TurboBoost limit (ie a three.3ghz 2500k can only only overclock to 3.7 without overclocking the technique bus).No SLI support (as far as documented). Comprehensive lack of any legacy components (IDE, PCI, Serial, Parallel, floppy).

Excellent MB for home / low end gamer.this bored is the most power savings+ lower temps so far ONLY two fan headers ??? one for cpu and one for front fan? what the H*ll? they really should header a fan header by the back plate / vrm coolers (heatsink around the cpu)

- SATA ports are not turned sideways like on some other boards- No PCI slots Wish it had 1 far more PCIe x1 slot. Otherwise, it's excellent! Applied this with a i5-2100T in a slim case with Scythe SCBSK-1000 and fanless 400w PSU and Radeon 5570. Power draw is extremely low and nearly silent (very faint whisper due to video card). By way of in SSD for boot drive and this thing flies! Wife is content she can watch netflix and movies/pics/music on media server in the bedroom (and soon to be office). Will build a couple more HTPCs with this identical board and configuration (may get a i5-2500T when they're readily available considering that it's 45w for true quad core).Last few Pc builds have been Gigabyte (AMD & Intel chips) and all have been wonderful.

Posted initial time each and every time, running Win7 Media Center perfectly using i3 Intel graphics. My Areca 1220 works in the 2nd PCIEx16 slot which runs at x4, but at least it works... 12TB of sweet, sweet drive space.Docked 1 egg for the initially x16 slot not operating for any of my cards, I am presuming that it would function with video card though. The 1st x16 slot will not run television tuner cards or raid cards. I didn't test it with a video card so maybe the slot is bad. This factor is running five 3TB Hitachi drivesྫྷTB) on an Areca 1220 raid card, a quad CableCARD tuner, and an AverMedia Duet. I can record six programs at the very same time.Six tuners, NetFlix, BlueRay and it all works, wow.
