Bought this to go together with an [AMD Athlon II X2 250 Regor 3.0GHz]. Simple set up, rapid boot, impressive on board graphics. Runs Windows 7 with Areo on, no issue. Also included ƒ) SATA cables (where as less expensive boards only give you 1). None. Windows 7 scored three.eight on graphics and 3. on gaming graphics. That's fairly good for an onboard system (on board video isn't made for gamers, if you play games, obtain a devoted card).

out of the box i liked this board.I was on a spending budget, and it fit my requirements.loved the bios PCIE X16 slot was not operatingtried multiple cards to no aval. Tried these cards in yet another rig.checked bios to make certain it was enable.Device manager was not even recognizing the card eitherRMA'ed

seems like a wonderful little board - incredibly easy to setup and it characteristics most of the most recent protocols. Not seriously a con in todays industry but buyers ought to be conscious that this board has no ide connectors so all hard drives and cd/dvd drives ought to use the SATA interface to hook up. board also comes with a 3 year warranty from gigabyte for Canadian and US users.

Fantastic lil motherboard as apart of a bundle. Solid caps, good capabilities, make excellent you can really feel No IDE for older optical drives I just recieved this in the mail and it was indeed revision 3. which was a great relief since of the added attributes. Operating Server 2008 R2 just fine!

OMG when i bought this motherboard i was thinking naw this is not gotta work its to cheap but when i put it in the gaming computer it amazed me allot.. i thought since it was cheap it was gotta be garbage and when i saw it online i said its worth a try....and boy i am glad i ordered this now i can get back to business and start gaming.....if your looking for a cheap and powerful motherboard this is the motherboard for you......Thanks XCIX....you can bet that im coming back here and ordering more stuff from your site..............

Looks incredibly nice, lots of capabilities, and thorough. Does not accept old optical drives so I need to buy a brand new one. I am not certain if it it broken or what it is but when I installed everything and boot up, suitable as W7 loading screen pops up it crashes. I am not sure if I mis-plugged one thing or it is defective. It is not recognizing my HDD, which I doubt is the difficulty. I do not understand the F_Panel and I would think POW would go to Power SW and RES would go to RESET SW and HDD LED would go to HDD, but still no recognition, I am not sure if possibly I am too inexperienced to fix my dilemma or that it is defective.

Every thing worked wonderful right away, employed kingston 30gb SSD for boot drive, no difficulties. Motherboard I received was Rev three. for those wondering. Lengthy graphics cards such as the ASUS GTX 460 I applied stick out really close to the sata connectors, I had to bend the cable a bit sharper than I would like to pass it under the card, if you only use 1 or two you will probably not have a difficulty. I could think about obtaining a card with the sata connections somewhere other than directly behind the pcix slot.

I purchased this motehrboard as the base for my home-built NAS system. The # of sata ports was decent, thought it could have been more. The board is flexible enough that it could be converted to a regular machine if I wanted to, which is great.

AM3 socketPowerful parts -No IDE ports-Screw by ram slots requires you to install mobo before ram-Input plate metal strips make it difficult to install mobo in case, but can be removed.-manual omits advanced chipset documentation (overclocking) I didn't read reviews and wasn't paying attention to the ides. Mobo install took a bit as I had to eliminate the strips.Didn't put as con but if unlocking cores fails, bios doesn't restart the PC.bios read the spd of the ram wrong as nicely, 9-9-9-20-33 ram was read as 9-9-9-30-33. Identified that odd...Other than these annoyances the mobo seems excellent. Newegg does an great job as usual. Very good board for upgrading to a new machine, affordable.
