Cons: NONE

Pros: Excellent mobo tons of great features, combined it with a Phenom II 965 CPU and 4 Gigs of Patriot DDR3 RAM
Comment:
Gigabyte are great products I am using more of them all the time I like their mobo's better than the newer ASUS boards! They run cooler than most other boards must be all that extra copper!! :-)

Cons: like the other buyers mentioned, the board doesn't reach to 3rd set of mounting scrren and sata port position may be problem to some computer case but these are minor.

Pros: Solid build, ability to unlock extra core, stable, 8 sata ports. have back plane for the extra two sata ports.
Comment:
Good motherboard....Athlon X4 620 boot up at 250mhz FSB, stable, I bought the open box to save a few bucks, this is a great board for AM3 cpu espeically Phenom II since this board is 140w certified.

Cons: Strange dimensions? SATA cables with clips

Pros: Worked right out of the box - All the standard features you need
Comment:
Excellent motherboard however it doesn`t reach the standard ATX pins for the right side of my case(I`m assuming it`s the board that`s off and not the case) - Making it dangerous to instal the 24pin PSU connection as the board has free space behind it (bends). The sata cables are the ones with clips on them - Which becomes a pita if you have a small case and lots of sata devices, this is a not a fault as other people consider this a good feature to have on sata cables as they can`t become disconnected without someone pressing down on the clip.Overclocks well and have had nearly no issues with it.

Cons: None at all

Pros: Unlockable board
Comment:
I got this motherboard on the offchance that I can unlock my x2 550 into a quad. Got it, unlocked my 550 and now I great a great quad core on the cheap. Thank you gigabyte and AMD.

Cons: Only x8 crossfire.

Pros: Solid and stable with excellent bios options.
Comment:
Unlocked my Phenom II X2 550 to a Phenom II X4 B50 3.6ghz stable at 1.4V with lots of room to overclock even more. My last board was a socket 939 DFI Lanparty Ultra-D that I modded to support SLI, and this Gigabyte is an excellent replacement.

Cons: Difficult to cable some parts due to layout.

Pros: Easy to install, cheap, does DDR3.The included manual was indispensable for newbies.
Comment:
Worked right out of the box, and included a ton of cables and screws; Installation of RAM and CPU were easy. I really liked the included manual, really everything a first timer like myself needed to install everything.Cabling the USB ports, case power buttons and LEDs, and SATA drives was difficult, because they were cramped down in the bottom of the board where there is the huge obstructions of your PCI cards, and your power supplies. I had to take them out to plug in the cables, and even then, they were so far away that it was an extremely close thing that they reached, to the point where they pulled out sometimes. It wouldn't have been possible at all if I had to put something in the COM slot.

Looks like bubblegum. Supports DDR3, X-fire, etc, etc...Tall ram will block many heatsinks. But... The COOLERMASTER 212 HYPER PLUS (don't forget the "plus") fits this mobo perfectly, keeps my stock 720BE at 25/35C (no-load/full-load), and doesn't block the ram.Great board for my first build.

Comment:
I bought this motherboard for my friend's rig, it is used for 4870 x 2 crossfire. Its good paired with the amd phenom x4 955. I had to buy this motherboard since we are using ddr3 1600 and it is well supported. I flashed the bios to newest version. Its a good motherboard I would recommend over 200$ ones, because it will do the same job or almost.

Cons: tight

Pros: Good quality board
Comment:
Got this board for my 945 AMD, so far extremely satisfiedespecially with the eSATA ports and the amount of available ports to use.only thing I can complain about is the position of the SATA Ports on the board. Depending on the case you have this can be problematic.other then that.. all is good.

Cons: 16x8 crossfire might be a bummer for some.Dog vomit color scheme.

Pros: Whole lot of motherboard at a low price.
Comment:
Running a 720be in this board, would definitely buy again.Great board for those on tight budgets. If your just going to run one video card this is all you need,no need for a 790fx board.

Cons: - Memory slots are very close to the CPU socket making some aftermarket coolers incompatible

Pros: - Solid/Stable- Overclocks with ease- Crossfire Support works great
Comment:
I received it this morning and promptly setup a rig using OCZ PC3 12800 Gold 8-8-8-24 RAM, Phenom II X3 720 BE Processor (unlocked 4th core), two Radeon HD 3870s in Crossfire and an Ageia PhysX card for fun.I powered the whole thing with an old, trust and reliable Enermax Whisper 431W unit.Very solid platform and for the price it was a steal. This unit now serves as my AMD bench rig.

Cons: Bios needed to be upgraded.

Pros: Nice heat pipe coolers on board. Quality seems very good.
Comment:
Used this board with an AMD Phenom II X4 955 AM3 CPU, 4 gigs of DDR3 1600Mhz ram and a XFX GTS250 video card. I used it to run some FoldingjHome apps and was very disappointed in the performance of the Motherboard until I upgraded the BIOS. Then it then ran 4X faster. Overall I am happy with the combination.

Cons: Bundled software is a little weak

Pros: Easy to install and setup

This was the cheapest board with an AM3 socket and DDR3 ram, so I picked it up, and so far its worked fine with my 720 BE

Cons: Had to flash to latest bios for am3 955.Original bios recognized it at 1.6ghz quad. Not big deal.Weak software choice compared to Asus.

Pros: Well built.Great performer.Low temps.Great price at Ncix compared to the competition.Manual well detailled for novices.Doesn't have onboard video unlike Asus sister.
Comment:
First experience with Gigabyte mobo, and very pleased with its layout and overall design.Amd chipset is the best for am3 955.Don't buy anything else.

Pros: am3 support, ddr3 support, well built
Comment:
i bought this board for my new phenom II X3 720 BE/ ddr3 build. since this was one of the "cheaper" boards out there i took a gamble. couldnt be happier. the board performs great. worked on first boot, zero problems. if you have tall ram sticks beware though because i installed a aftermarter cpu cooler and had to move my ram to slots 3 and 4. 1 and 2 are blocked. no big deal since you could still run 4 gigs or more on just those 2 slots. all in all. extremely happy :)
