Visually a nice hunting bored, great for new system builders requiring the USB 3. and all that fancy stuff. Can't SLI my GTX 460 to the PCIe x16 due to not getting able to attain the second slot (gtx 460 is rather massive, as are most new vid cards). Random freezes. Tried anything from a BIOS update to distinct configuration, its the same thing. Not really a bother, because i save my documents and other essential stuff constantly, but bothers me when I'm playing a game and have to restart the computer. Stay away from Gigabyte for a least a couple of years, till they knock out all of the dents in their hardware. Life was great so I bought a 2nd 6GB set.OCZ told me the memory need to run fine at 1333MHZ. Gigabyte also ok'd the second time I asked. Started possessing the errors other persons have been talking about - crashes, BSOD relating to "memory management", and so forth. This was the exact same set that ran excellent at 1066MHZ for a year.RMA'd and the replacement was even worse. This time OCZ is RMA'ing a straight refund. Was the problem with the board or the memory? I don't know for certain. I do know the board is Extremely particular about timing settings. When I used OCZ's own advised timings of 7-7-7-20 I started obtaining memory problems. When I use the additional aggressive 7-7-7-16 settings the BIOS autodetects, the memory runs without having issues, even at 1333MHZ. So now I'm back to 6GB and I appear to be unable to add a lot more. |

Absolutly none I can see. 2nd mb similar flaw ran for about 6 hrs then started rebooting itself and only way to cease it is flip the switch on back of power provide I have used gigabyte graphics cards and they had been good, guess anyone can have a terrible board should have payed more focus to the testimonials of this board. Amazing board. e-sata, easy overclocking. Did not function completely when I got it (purchased full pc from iBuyPower). For these of you who are getting "Verifying DMI Information Pool" then "Recovering lost DRAM size" and the computer system reboots and goes via this cycle three-four occasions before booting; also have far more installed RAM than shown and only element of it is usable.I had these exact same challenges till I removed all the RAM and booted up with each and every stick (make positive to use the second slot from the left when employing only a single stick). Unfortunately, it seems this entire line of GB motherboards is garbage. The above BIOS memory error triggered the board to continuously reboot. Immediately after looking on the net for the error, it became clear this is a wide spread and often encountered issue. I replaced the MB with an Asus (Sabertooth) and no challenges. Ran like a dream. I've been creating systems for over 15 years, and used Asus, Gigabyte, MIS, Biostar. Seriously no complaints with Gigabyte till now. Hey NewEgg - send the lot back and get YOUR money back. Supports 24GB of DDR3 RAM. 5Ǜ tenቦ No four pin Molex headers for fans. Floppy drive cable is as well quick. Not a major deal, though. The cons weren't a major deal. I just have to buy six more fans, two 90mm and four 120mm mainly because my old fans use the Molex headers that I had on my old EVGA 680i motherboard. Has two SATA3 Ports and two USB 3.. Can support two-way or three-way SLI. Supports DDR3-2200 memory. The Marvell SATA3 chip set has unique problems which includes not recognize both ports correctly. I personal two of these boards.Nice MOBO and pretty effortless setup.one particular of them has worked failed, it keeps restarting my system following i do a shut down, or pressing the energy button, 10sec later the pc started up again.Only way to turn the program off is to pull the plug.replaced PSU HX1000, but issue Nevertheless exists.
