GARBAGE, DONT Buy, save your dollars Persons These cables are not worth something, they slip out, they break, they don't read the drive at all, I had a tough time installing OS, I bought this for 1 of my clients, becausse he wanted them, to replace the ones that came with the mobo. They are a waste of cash, not great at all

its brief and blue and operates 90 degree ends didnt operate for me blocked the board and wouldnt fit well with several drives. My error not reading the description far better. Check all clearances on your motherboard or sata converter to make sure that it is not neccesary to have straight cables.

This factor does exactly what it was intended to. Straightforward hook up. The 90 degree angles don't perform for me. With the way my HDD is mounted in my case, the 90 pointed the cable straight at the side wall of the case resulting in the connection being pressed and stressed. This did not hinder details transfer but it did leave me worried about the continued integrity of the connections on both cable and HDD. Was provided an extra cable by a buddy that is straight with no angles....operates fantastic

Excellent size for little cases, higher high quality clasps, quite blue color. 90 degree angle excellent for some applications. 90 degree angle poor for other applications...I got it since I figured it would function nicely on the motherboard, nevertheless the way the motherboard ended up being laid out, the PCI slot prevented it from getting plugged in without having blocking the 2nd SATA port. Just be confident your motherboard has room for the connectors on this cable, otherwise you may possibly be wasting cash on a cable you can't use.

I utilised this cable for my Western Digital 640GB challenging drive. The cable snapped on both ends and I did noticed a bit additional speed compared to the other cables I was making use of. I have always bought this brand of cables and I will continue to acquire them. One more very good item by a great corporation. Thanks. None at this time.

Appear excellent -not as flimsy as I anticipated due to some reviews -just the proper length for my application, but may well be a bit brief for some -the metal clip is delicate -but something that tiny has to be... just don't use excessive force... keeps it in location just fine. None As others have stated... If your SATA connections point out from the side of the motherboard, the right angle connector will point the cable back toward the side of the case on which the MB is mounted -which is OK if you have a case like the 900 "deux" (which I fortunately do)-which has a space back there for cable routing. Otherwise -go with the straight/right angle combo.

Works exactly the way it ought to. A small too brief for a clean Mid-Tower interior. The cable is unusually stiff, insulating UV rubber is of poor high quality.

Blue, 90* connector With both connectors getting 90*, it blocks other SATA ports and makes it bend much more on the board finish. Overall, functions fine. I imply... it's a cable, not a processor.

Snaps into harddrive connector securely. Doesn't clip securely to motherboard type SATA connectors. Motherboard doesn't have anything for the clip to attach to so the cable is loose on that finish.

Very good secure fit. Functions. Low-cost look and feel. I believed 10" was going to be extended sufficient, apparently it wasn't. RMA back to Newegg.

The latch is excellent, I can't believe all sata cables don't have this. All earlier cables I've employed have had a tendancy to pull out of the connector a tiny. These keep appropriate in location. none

The latch has a very powerful hold, it will not come off. The latch tends to make it easy to eliminate the cable. It is only 10inch, no more excess cable inside my situation. Depres the latch when removing, or you could brake your contacts. The cable squeeks when twisted.

Short, Blue, works. I bought a MSI 785G motherboard that i was hoping to use these cables on. The sata connectors on the board are horizontal as opposed to vertical. However, the 90 degree orientation on these connectors faces the incorrect way, generating the cables point down, instead of up like i was hoping.

Works good, 90 degree angle on the clasp is amazing.... ....for 1 side of the cable. It interfered with the switches from the front panel at the west most SATA from the board, and anywhere else blocks a port. It works properly, just make sure you have adequate SATA ports to possibly lose access to one.

Nicely, it's SATA, it connected my hard drive, it's lengthy adequate and color's neat if you're 1 of those "I really like showing off my Pc's insides." guys, which I'm not. The cable doesn't seriously do what I bought it for. I have a gigantic video card and it's covering absolutely two of SATA pots and blocks the other two enough that I can't use a straight SATA cable. A person told me they sold these 90 degree cables, so I purchased a couple for now and the future if I will need to have one.The connector is essentially just as tall at 90 degree angle as a straight 1...so no height difference whatsoever. I wasn't about to pull out my video card and say "darn" so...I took a razor blade and shaved the best of the connector down to there the video card fit in just fine.I'm certain that's not the greatest resolution, but this wire had a lot of plastic on leading of the connector piece so shaving it down does allow for additional room. I'm happy with the purchase...I think my modification doesn't seriously compromise the cable's durability as I've got a lot of ventilation, so heating isn't a issue...I feel it will be just fine. Purchased a couple much more of these today.

1 out of three worked these cables suck. I had purchased four of these sort (one of them with 2 strait plugs) and they brought on nothing but troubles in a build making use of all new components. The plugs are too major and they are sloppy in the socket. The drives they were hooked to would randomly fail to be recognised. Actually made attempting to install the OS fun. I kept obtaining hardware falure errors and was thinking Oh noes! but no, hardware is fine. these cables ar junk. two outof three were FAIL. Buy some other brand. to poor mainly because I liked thelengh ad color but can not reccomend these to any individual.
