SATA Cable with locking mechanism, they operate need to have i say more? I purchased a lot of 6. twoǜ had some troubles with the locks. 1 was missing a metal tab and a single was permanently depressed. Not worth the RMA and my MB doesnt help locking anyways.

It's just a cable that fits it's purpose, but I'll look for a additional flexible cable. Individuals who need to have a extremely brief cable like this, commonly are utilizing them on tiny and crowed places. Becoming stiff as these, it tends to make it really hard to manage and it forces on the connectors. I am employing them on modest laptop hard drives inside an ITX case and it performs, but I've noticed I have to be carefull pre-bending the cable in advance to match the exact location or it will force the connector on the challenging drives and ultimately result in a faulty connection.

Brief, SATA II, affordable, thank goodness. The retaining clip fell off as soon as I plugged it into my board. Wasn't forced in, it just fell loose in the case as I plugged it in.

Excellent - powerful cable - very good connectors none Not confident what I was pondering .. six inches really doesn't attain anything. Figure every of the connectors is an inch so the cable element is fundamentally four to five inches .. not lengthy enouch to reach something unless you have a very particular requirement.

The match and operate really well. None for me. I locate that the stock SATA cables shipped with most motherboards to be far as well long. I'm working with a typical ATX-variety case and these cables operate fine for connecting my Seagate SATA drives.

I utilized these to replace the orange puke sata ones I use to have in my pc and they work perfectly. They are just extended adequate where there is tiny cable to deal with and not stiff. They look fantastic in my Antec 300 (modified) with Blue cathodes and LED lights. Only one particular dilemma. A single of the cables have a latch that properly, doesn't latch. Not truly a big deal mainly because it is twisted in such a way that it stays in. also I do not do a bunch of tinkering within my case whilst it is running so I am fantastic. Best for my HTPC box. Extended cable that came with the motherboard was way also extended. I would have liked it much better if it had an L-shape or correct angled connector. Had to bend it a tiny to get it to match in case (Asus Pundit P1-AH2) Locking connectors do the job. I forgot they had been there and tried to yank it out and broke off a piece of my hardisk that was holding the cable in. Cable survived unscathed. Impressed. Word of tips to other folks - the locking clip really works make sure to release clip!

Does exactly as it is supposed too. Worked with no difficulties. Snaps tight to the MB and HD. You can order the length you need. It is very stiff, but if you order the correct length, this is not dilemma.

Quick and sweet.Locking connectors. The wire is a bit Stiff, but not unreasonably so. I was in a position to get rid of about 2 yards of unnecessary cable slack in my case by utilizing two of these cables. The slightly larger premium of these shorter cables over the far more frequent longer cables was worth it to minimize case clutter.

I like black, & it's been hard attempting to uncover black Sata cables, when most are red or orange, so this was thrilling to come across black cables. Only issue I located a challenge, was they weren't extended adequate, to reach from my Sata Card Controller, to my Disk Dives, even even though I have an Ultra Micro Fly gaming situation, even though it's smaller kind element & the elements are close, they still were more than 6" apart. :-( Next time when ordering cables, I'm opening the situation & measuring the lengths, prior to clunking down & spending a few $$, then realizing you have to send it all back. :-(

This is a well produced SATA II cable with locking clips to hold the cable ends from working loose in the course of handling of the Pc. This short cable is perfect for attachment of SATA harddrives within the drive cage of a Luan-Li Pc-67 case to the motherboard. The space involving this drive cage and the motherboard SATA connectors is three inches. These brief cables make routing substantially cleaner and compact than anything longer. No technical cons.Incremental shipping charges for this cable are high (nearly 100% of the cost of the cable). Properly I am paying nearly double the posted price of this item. I extremely suggest SATA II cables more than SATA since of issues I have had in the previous with SATA operating loose. The locking clips enable a fantastic deal. When removing these cables from a motherboard or device, you need to be patient and use a tool to unlock the clip. Right now, I have ordered these cables and I noticed a thing odd. I have a big many item order in the buying card. For each cable, shipping was ũ.83 a cable – for common three day ground delivery. Seems to me the NewEgg purchasing cart should be in a position to present a additional precise assessment of shipping charges for the entire order – especially the assessment of the shipping charges for these cables which I really feel is excessive.

Metal clips for use with new SATAII setups. Short so you have less mess. A stiff doesn't very clarify how stiff it is. You will need to have to pre-bend it; it won't just lay in. This isn't a SATAI snap cable, if your mobo just has the " L " with no "wall" around it it won't snap on; it will nevertheless operate even though.
