As with anything made in China. This unit starts out good and then the junk they use to make it, since it is now a throw away society craps out. They really should offer dual bearing fans on these power supply's. I have temporarily stuck a theramlake fan in it unit I find one more suitable or replace the power supply with something more reliable. Is it really to much to ask for something that lasts?

Bought this power supply about 2 months ago. This is part of a phase by phase upgrade I am doing to my system. I installed it in a matter of minutes, fired up my system and it has been working like a champ. I can't get over how quiet it is compared to my old power supply. This actually solved some issues I was having with my system. I strongly recommend that you get it if you haven't yet. I plugged it into my Acer AST180.

My pwr supply arrived on time, worked out of the box. Needed plenty of Molex connectors, it had them. If you want to bring an old box up to speed with a new pwr pack, this is a great value. It also has a couple of SATA connectors so when I make it an NAS with an SATA card, I can add two more drives to the package. I'm happy.

I am not writing this review to give an assesment of the quality of the product since I never got a chance to use the product. The specs on this page state that the supply has -5V. The outside of the box shows that it does not. Since I needed a supply with the -5V, I could not use this supply and never opened it. Please save yourself some time and aggravation. If you need a supply with -5V, do not purchase this supply!

I bought this with a mobo that requires to power supply connections: the normal 24 pin and the 12v 8pin connector. This power supply did not have the 12v 8 pin connector. So, I had to exchange it for another brand.

Works great, not very noisy as some people said; your video cards fan will probably make more noise than this power supply.

This power supply functioned, but I returned it because of this annoying high pitched humming noise it made when I switched the power supply on. Buy a better supply don't be cheap and go with this one.

What I liked about this PSU was the fact that is was fairly cheap to purchase and came with SATA and PCI-E power connectors. The only problem with it is that the SATA connectors are on one power cable. The length of the second connector is very short and would only be useful if you had two drives stacked on top of each other. That is where it affected my system, so make sure you watch out for that. I'm returning this unit for one with a longer reach.
