Purchased the product and installed in my Vista PC without any problem at all. Hooked it to the USB on mother board, turned on the computer and everything worked perfectly. Only draw back is that fact of inserting the sd cards upside down. Other than that this is well work the small amount that I paid for it. Buy it if you need a sd card reader and want to keep some pennies in your pocket !! |

For the price it cannot be beat!! I haven't had any problems at all installing this card reader. With Windows 7 64-bit it works like a dream. If you need a good card reader without leaving your wallet empty, get this! |

I installed this in a Windows 7 environment. PnP is correct - I didn't have to do a thing except button it into the case and plug it in. Only 'problem' I have had is that occasionally, it will not recognize a CF Card when plugged in. Not sure what causes that situation, but other than that, it works great. |

Installation was a breeze! I bought 2 of them for different computers. Front bezel is easy to change from black to white. All ports are work and seem to have great speed. I will buy this card reader again for other computers! |

This installed and worked. All the ports work. I haven't tested any of the speeds yet. There is one thing really really annoying this card reader installs 4 different drives on your computer. If you click on them, it just says media. For some it may not be annoying, but I like everything clean and 4 more drives make it consufing. |

USB ports work, SD and CF slots read and write fine except that SD card has to be inserted upside down. Have not tried other slots as I don't have those card types. |

I thought this wrote to cards, too. Unless I bought a faulty one. Regardless, it does what it says, READ and READ it does ... why it won't write? Support for this thing is next to impossible. If only someone can confirm that it doesn't write, I'll be okay with it. If it's supposed to write - then, I got me a bad one I guess. |

Opened computer, unplugged front USB cable from USB header, plugged in card reader and fired up computer. My USB mouse plugged into the back of the computer stopped working as well as my printer. Unplugged, rebooted and everything works.??? Box said it was compatable with my software. I am not an IT guy but I am not giving up. It's the soldier in me! |

The good. The reader was recognized by my new computer and I was able to install the OS with a 4GB sd card plugged into this. USB port works too. The bad. could not read gb micro card (in an adapter), which means I still must use another card reader for this card. Another thing is that the green power light stays on all the time, even when the computer power is off. If you put in a card while off the red light will turn on too. I had to severely edit my review because this website thought I had web links or company names in it, even though it didn't, and it still |

i was using this in an older beige case, along with some optical drives i had. it was easy to change the bezel from black to the included beige, and i was looking for a reader that would read both xd and sd cards. this one does both with no trouble, and can even read them directly from my BIOS program as the mobo recognizes and supports this reader. well worth the minimal cost and effort to install. |

This product intalled very easily, and works well. The only drawback is my SD card won't open on it's own. It shows up if you look in the computer tab, and it will open from there. That just might be a setting I need to change, but I'm not too worried about it. For $12.99, I am happy with it. |

I installed this card reader in my Dell GX 480 only to find out that the motherboard did not have USB header pins. I found and installed a Low-Profile PCI to 2 and 1 USB2.0 Model RC-100 Card, which has the USB pins on it. After the card was installed and functional, I connected the card reader to it. XP Pro found and installed the new hardware. I have only used the SD and USB slots to this point, but it seems to work fine. I am excited to have a card and USB ports with easy access. |

This is a good all-in-one card reader, and there's an extra USB port. It installs easily right out of the box and did what i expected it to do. Fits my desktop beautifully and works perfectly with any card. |

Card slots work, USB port gives an error every time you insert something into it.
