Installation. Price tag. Uncomplicated install on new mobo swap. Gives you selections to delete old partitions on hard drive before installing. Loaded all needed drivers of all new hardware. All updates had been completed in 20 minutes. Really nice.

This is what Vista should have been. I really like it! So a lot of capabilities, so customizable. Gotta jump via hoops to set up it the way MS wants you to, if you're performing it for a buyer's develop. At least they tell you what you have to do.

A great Windows XP replacement OS for my netbook. Runs fantastic, Aero and all! Installation was very rapidly. In fact, the hardest component was discovering an external CD-ROM drive. Installation did freeze for me in the course of the video test. A challenging reset made the dilemma go away (Install didn't attempt it once again). 1GB of RAM on the netbook is fine for this OS, but I'd upgrade to 2 for the greatest practical experience. Specs: Single core Atom CPU, 2GB of RAM, intel 950 GMA integrated graphics. (HP Mini 110-1030NR)

I'd give this six eggs if I could. I was sceptical about moving on from XP, but now I'm so glad I got this. Windows 7 is just... wow... Its so quickly and has so several helpful functions the sticker issue had holes in it? lol I was like why? I appreciate windows 7, even though it wasn't my concept.

Better than 64bit for everyday, utilizes alot much less memory, most applications are nonetheless 32bit, much better to have it than emlulate it, closer to getting a updated version of XP. Memory limits, Unless your launching the space shuttle you wont need far more than 4gigs of memory! just save your operate a lot more generally.

Ranks suitable up there with WinXP. Not a full disappointment like WinME and Vista. Only three eggs simply because of my intense dislike of Microsoft in common. All correct computer enthusiasts agree that Linux or Unix must have turn into the OS standard.

All the drivers for Vista look to perform with the 32-bit version.Functionality is fantastic if you have at least 2GB of memory.Aero appears nice.UAC is less 0bnoxious than Vista. 32-bit version is limited to about 3GB of memory. The OEM license agreement is really restrictive.Nonetheless a tiny bloated compared to XP. Lots of other folks have provided intelligent comments about Windows 7 generally. This overview is especially for the 32-bit OEM version.I find that home customers who want a thing nicer searching than XP tend to like Windows 7. Even so I continue to run into driver troubles with the 64-bit version. Therefore I often advocate the 32-bit version, but only if living within its 3GB limit is going to be tolerable. Also note that the OEM versions of Windows 7 are genuinely only for use on a single machine -- ever! Not 1 machine at a time. Even doing a substantial upgrade to a Pc can result in MicroSoft to reject the machine if you're not cautious.XP seems to work pretty nicely with 1GB. Win 7 appears to require at least 2GB.1 final note: when MicroSoft calls it the "Home" edition, you almost certainly shouldn't use it for expert or business use. For company desktops I recommend sticking with Windows XP Pro for now. Everything performs on that, and the 32-bit limitation is nonetheless not so negative. 3GB is enoug

Bought this from New Egg. Excellent company to do organization with! Five stars for New Egg. Installed on a Dell E510 with no issues. Upgraded the original systems hard drive and memory (parts all from New Egg). Installation of Windows 7 was a breeze! Technique is operating in dual boot configuration with Windows XP and Windows7 with no troubles. No cons at all! Five stars for New Egg. Computer software gets 4 stars due to the fact of the price tag. New Egg has no control more than the pricing of MS application, but that's life. Thanks once again New Egg for your great service

Install, Operation, and boot all run quicker than XP on identical Computer. Windows Media center Television tuner software program a lot far better than Tuner software program dilevered with A-I-W HD Did not automaticly locate the expected drivers for the Tv tuner in my All-In-Wonder HD Over all this is a substantially simpler item to use compared to XP after you get over the initial learning curve. I most like the fact that I required to do extremely little searching for new drivers when I installed W7.

It loaded effectively past 12% this time and identified all drivers devoid of considerably intervention from me. Excellent.Newegg replaced terrible cd in record time. The only place to shop for computer systems. None so far Newegg has an superb consumer support and I hugely suggest them for all laptop desires.

Runs smooth, No glitches so far except for the updates Unfortunately it is a microsoft item which indicates every single update that comes out will want to shut one thing down on the pc. I was hoping the windows 7 updates would be excellent, but they are as terrible as vista's I turned my updates off immediately after having to restore to a prior date following an update.Since then I have had no troubles what so ever.
