I have had zero problems with this drive. I only play or burn DVD's or music CD's in it. I love the lightscribe feature!If I don't want blu-ray for my next build (and I probably don't need it since I have a PS3I'd buy another one of these without a second thought.PS I remember when CD burners were over $500, so these prices will always seem great to me :) |

I wanted a Light Scribe enabled DVD burner for my new computer, and this unit fit the bill. It's got LG's usual high build quality, works quickly, and is inexpensive to buy. I realise that I'm behind the curve by not going with a Blu-Ray, but I the work I do with my machine doesn't make such a purchase essential. At least not yet . . . |

Had to replace an HP LightScribe Drive that decided to start burning poor quality lightscribe discs! Not sure if i burned the laser out or if HP sucks. I'm more tempted to go with the latter. I don't write lightscribe often, in fact I don't burn often..actually I don't even use discs often anymore. So far no issues with this, been working fine. |

I have never had an issue with an LG DVD drive and this one is no exception. It is worth a few extra dollars to upgrade to an LG rather than using some discount brand or Samsung. |

It does it's job as a dvd burner. For under $20 you get a lightscribe burner, so that's pretty good. What more can you expect from a burner. It even came with a software package. Norton Internet Security trial was kinda useless though, considering that most people already use the free stuff when they build. I would buy again. |

Bought this for a small budget computer. Got this one on sale for around 20$ and it does the job perfectly. It is a fast and quiet drive. I always had LG burners, and none failed so far. I would buy this again for a small budget computer. |

It amazes me how just a few years ago, these drives would run up into the low hundreds. Now, they are so cheap they shouldn't even be considered when deciding a budget for a rig. As for this drive it works great and I will definitely purchase another. |
Do what suppose to do. Burning good. LG always do good burner and the price still very good. Better then Samsung. You can buy it, ill recommand. I buy LG burner seems many years and never have prob with.
