Cons: it's windows...

Pros: It's Windows!!
Comment:
In my opinion, this is easily the best OS to come from Microsoft in quite some time. It's what Vista should have been, and more. I do not hesitate to recommend Win7 to anyone who asks me about it and, of course, the Ultimate edition is just that little bit better.

Pros: fast, user friendly, nice features, major improvement.
Comment:
windows 7 is definitely a good os. i tried both the 32bit and 64bit versions. had to stick with 64bit to utilize most of my ram. overall this os is a major improvement over vista. it borrows a bit from the mac and xp, but overall is much more user friendly than previous versions.

Microsoft has done it again ! Like XP, the buzz about 7 is justified, with the speed, features and value. I didn't test the beta, but got a free copy from a Microsoft conference and I really like it thus far. Impressive, get it!

In using the Win 7 Ultimate RC1 (Release Candidate 1) for several months now, and as someone that's been no fan of Microsoft since Windows 95, I can honestly say this is the best version Microsoft has come out with, ever! No one should be under any illusions that this is a completely new OS. This is, simply 'Vista spit-polished' or 'Vista as it should have been' everything up perfectly 'out of the box'. It runs MUCH better than the dog that was Vista, and has even been installed by others on netbooks (Vista could NEVER run on a netbook). It runs MUCH cleaner, without all the bulk that weighed Vista down. I don't use the Media Center, as I'm attached to the Win XP version (personal preference). As a long time skeptic and cynic I can honestly say with this version, has definately done things right!

This is one of the greatest OS I've used.I am reviewing the RTM. Windows 7 has improved my battery by more than 1 hour. With vista it usually took a while to turn on but with Windows 7 it's even faster than vista coming on through hibernation it evens turns off faster and restarts faster. Itunes used to be my main media player, now it's Windows Media Player mostly because of the taskbar integration and streaming. Gaming is also great with Windows 7, does not have problems playing old and new games. Haven't had any problems with programs and drivers. Also less annoying pop ups. I will recommend anyone that does not like vista to get Windows 7.''

Windows 7 is faster and more stable then vista ever thought about being, I highly recommend this OS to all my frfiends and every person that I talk to about there computers. FINALLY a windows OS that everyone can love
