Good, economical power supply, purchased Jan of ང. It lasted me two lengthy years of intensive gaming on a AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ Windsor 3.2GHz. One year with a GeForce 8800GTS, then yet another running dual Radeon 4850's. Up until the finish it never ever gave me any problems. It ran fine with me on it at night, and my wife making use of it during the day. I suspect that in the end, it was the Radeon 4850's running on it that sooner or later brought on it to die. If that's the case, it may be certified for crossfire, but possibly not for 4000 generation or greater. Everyone operating ATI 4000񳽸, or NVIDIA 9000 or greater really should in all probability locate some thing with more energy if running additional than one GPU. BTW, I replaced it with an Antec black widow 850WT modular. Been running fine.

It offers lots of energy to do the job for extended periods of time. It also is rather compared to my last 1 perhaps 1ǘ the noise, but I can't speak for these that want it silent. It also reaches everywhere with it's cord. It's cord is wrapped up nicely but it is nonetheless a cluster fucl<. I find that I have 7 or 8 left over plugs. I also have older model cd drives and fans that run of older plugs so i used all of the ones it came with up, but I had just enough. Now I have much more than sufficient sata plugs. If you have an older model equipment that doesn't run off sata you greatest have a huge case to match the wires. Also if you want energy this will give it at the cost of minor stuffing of wires at the set up.

Sturdily constructed, cloth wrapped cabling.Somewhat desirable finish. Lots of connections for a variety of devices. The supplied energy is stable and reasonable for the price tag you are paying.Good and quiet beneath the load I location on it, but that load is less than half of it's rated capacity. Not really a con, but if you are functioning in a mid tower the profusion of cables can get a small overwhelming. cable management is your buddy. At the time of this critique I've only had the PSU for a couple of weeks, so I will present no thoughts on its reliability at the two year range, but it has performed admirably so far.

Exceptional, stable energy. Super long leads. I have an Antec 900 case w/the PS on the bottom of the case. No headaches at all with pwr connections to the upper drives or the connections to the MB. Feels heavy and solid like a great PS ought to. Goodpower is the proper name for this unit. It doesn't have a blue 120mm fan. I like blue fans in the 900 case.

Quite quiet temperature controlled fan, now all I hear is my challenging disks. Smaller facts like an LED status light near the energy switch indicate consideration to detail. Plenty of cables, though only the main power connector is sheathed. Personally, I couldn't care significantly less about that. The principal 24 pin power connector has a breakaway to make it a 20-pin. The 8-pin connector for Intel systems has a breakaway to make it a 4-pin for AMD and older Intel systems. A single PCI-E connector is incorporated, an adapter is included to connect a second PCI-E connector to support SLI or CrossFire. 4 SATA power connectors. Lots of Molex connectors (CD-ROM, legacy tough disks, and so on.) None so far. I have only owned it 1 day, I can not attest to its longevity. AMD X2 4200+ 939, ATI HD 3850, 2 GB DDR400, 3 challenging disks (Raptor 74, 7200RPM SATA, 5400RPM IDE), 1 DVD burner, 1 additional fan.

It did its job although it worked. I had this point powering a measely athlon x2 5000+ brisbane and a 9800gt on a micro-atx mobo and it died on me in a year or significantly less. Commit the further 20$ on an antec or corsair, you won't regret it. This is the only xclio item i've attempted so I have absolutely nothing undesirable to say about them. I'm glad I discovered the challenging way although about purchasing from respectable makers. I possibly just got a undesirable unit, but I doubt I'll ever acquire from these guys once again.

Inexpensive, a lot of connections Bought this 12ቸ񳏉, just replaced it 1ተ񳏋. All i get is 13 months of service? Bummer. It was a fantastic supply until it died, replaced it with a much quieter Stealth 2 700w and am content with that.Way to run out the warranty clock... just barely.

Uncomplicated to set up, effortless to connect and the plugs are clear for what they are to be utilised for. The cost is OK and the unit is pretty heavy, which is typically an indicator of a good quality Power Provide. The manual was quite a lot useless. It would have been nice to have the CPU energy connector set as the four pin, it could be a bit confusing for an individual undertaking a first make to know where the CPU power is. It would not be an situation if the manual was much better.

Worked fine whilst it lasted, all of 7 months. Lack of client service. I have sent emails to every e mail address I can discover considering that there are no phone numbers, and have however to get a response. This has to be the worst business I have but to deal with, and as a organization owner, I deal with numerous corporations. We will by no means order an additional Xclio item.

I purchased this back in 2006 and it is nonetheless going robust. This PSU is essentially created by Channel Properly Technology -- the similar corporation that makes some of the Corsair PSU's. So anyone that would say that Corsair PSU's are much better (like 1 of the reviewers below) is rather ill-informed. I've had definitely no challenge with this power provide. This is not the fault of the power supply, but I wish it had an eight-pin CPU energy connector, rather than just the four-pin. Back when I purchased it, there weren't many (if any) motherboards that expected the 8-pin connector. I'm aware that one particular can run a mobo requiring the eight-pin connector with the four-pin, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. It would also be nice if all the wires were sleeved, but with the value as low as it is, I can't really complain. Great PSU, and you can't beat the low value. It's funny, back when I purchased this 񢉖) it was extremely encouraged by certain hardware forums. Go to those very same forums now, and they will tell you this PSU is junk (because it's not a nicely-known name AND mainly because several of those on the forums now had been not around back when this PSU was highly praised). I just tell them about the truth that the PSU is in fact created by Channel Nicely (same OEM that makes some of the extremely common Corsair units) and that tends to shut them correct up.

Nice stable PSU. Quite little documentation/instructions w/ unit. I hope you know exactly where it goes. Had to split 8pin mobo connector for cpu power. Exhaust fan vents out back of box.

Runs nice and quiet, NOT DOA, superb value for a good mid level gaming method. This is a pro and con, make positive you have the room for all the cords (you may well use them all, I do not). I have a HP 8400F, and with my 9800GT it's fairly crammed, so you may will need to get rid of the media bay if you don't use it.

This is my third PSU of this kind. Got the initial 1 couple of years ago, very same stability and fan noise level (almost silent). Only distinction - this one particular has 4 SATA connectors alternatively of two.Extremely precise, good to look at. None

Practically silent, incredibly steady so far and not a negative value for a 500 watt PSU. Nice searching paintjob and really heavy.Free of charge shipping when I purchased it thanks to the Egg. Incredibly odd chemical smell when I took it out of the packaging, by no means smelled something like it before just about nauseating. Not modular, but I knew that when I purchased it. This is the second Xclio I have bought and will not fiddle about with other low-cost brands anymore. Powers my AMD rig with 4000+ overclocked, 9600 gso overclocked with out breaking a sweat.

I have used three of these in builds, all of them have worked precisely as specified. Reputable, steady, wont break the bank. On two of the units, the plug for the energy cable in the back of the PSU seemed just a little bit flimsy. Hot pants were a cool trend... We will need a lot more hot pants in our society these days.

Adequate power to run all my stuff. No heating problems if you have correct cooling.Wonderful deal for the cost! None so far. This is my first power supply that I've purchased independently from a case. My old energy provide was a tiny too weak for my board 鶼W) and this 500W provide did the trick.

Excellent quantity of connectors. 8 Pin mobo connector. PCIe Connector. Great sleeving on the key ATX connector. Good huge exhaust fan that points out of your case if you are equipped for it.. implies that the PS heat does not interfere with your other case temps. Good amount of energy for the price tag. 2 rails.. Doesn't have interchangeable cable connectors. Not entirely sleeved. ATX power + 4pin connector is as well brief to reach on other side of CPU. Need to have to use half of the 8pin mobo connector. Or reduce the sleeving. Hopefully will energy my Athlon 64 x2 5200+, Asus mobo with dual SLI 8800GTS video cards and two-3 harddrives.. DVD burner + a Blu-Ray player.

I installed this with a technique running every little thing below the sun, and it takes it, and keeps putting out clean, steady voltage. I place a monitor on it for a week, and it never wavered. I installed this P/S in a method with SLI, a quad core, three Tb HDD space, Litescribe DVD, Bluray Burner, canapus video capture card (the good one!). I got a lot of dollars in this system, and it works like a charm with this power supply - I'm content :) cables could have been an inch or 2 longer - maybe one particular a lot more floppy power connector? I could be quieter, it's not too bad now, but it could be greater. None, truly, this unit did as advertised, and that's the jest of it.
