Cons: so far so good

Pros: It's worth buying when on sale
Comment:
Very Impressive and user friendly The projector is very small and very bright. Its bright enough to project it in a room where some light slips in. It does not have to be completely dark. Its small but it does everything it promises! This is a great projector!! the product itself is high tech and looked and is also very flexible and can accommodate a variety of file types for video, music, photo and documents.

Cons: -Contrast and brightness could be better.-Gets very hot.-Light weight makes it a little unstable.-Speakers are too weak for anything but casual use.

Pros: -Decent image quality.-Good selection of inputs.-Excellent value, especially on sale.-Conveniently small form factor.-Auto keystoning to allow flexibility of placement.-Slick design.-Short throw distance for huge images in small rooms.-Intuitive user interface.
Comment:
First, I'd like to say that I ordered this projector on May 9th, and recieved it less than 24 hours later. Kudos to NCIX for the speedy shipping.Picked this up on sale for $399 because I was curious about trying a projector setup for the first time, but couldn't justify spending upwards of $1000 for the novelty. I basically wanted a projector that I could use as a large secondary monitor for my computer, for playing movies, tv shows and videogames. The ridiculous lamp life on this projector is what ultimately sold me, as I have no interest in spending $300+ every year or two if I end up using the projector heavily.I've only owned the GP2 for about a day, but so far my impressions of the device are quite good. For what you pay, there's a lot of functionality here. I was concerned about whether the 720p resolution would hold up when projecting a large image, but the resulting image quality was, though not amazing, more than acceptable for my purposes. Colours get quickly washed out with ambient lighting, so I would reccommend only using this in a very dark room. Contrast is also a bit lacking, most noticibly when watching particularly dark scenes, however I'm still tinkering with some of the picture settings, so that situation may improve. I'm also projecting on to a coloured wall at the moment, which will obviously affect accurate colour representation. I'm currently projecting an image that is nearly 120 inches across, and due to the nature of projectors, projecting such a large image will obviously affect the overall brightness. The projector itself is very small, and very light. This can be an issue when connecting a particularly heavy cord to one of the inputs, as it can weigh the projector down on one side, thus tilting the projected image- as a result, getting a perfectly straight projection can take a little work. The unit's weight and size will no doubt be welcomed to people who plan on taking the GP2 on the road, however, as it is extremely portable. The built-in speakers are surprisingly serviceable for casual use, but I wouldn't do any serious movie-watching without outputting to an alternative speaker system or headphones. All in all, I'd consider the GP2 to be an excellent value for the money, especially if you're just dipping your toe into the world of home projection.

Cons: -Focus wheel is a bit small and hard to set perfectly due to its size-The projector sits on 3 rubber buds which makes it unstable (fine if left untouched but better if installed on camera tripod)

Pros: -Very nice picture quality under controlled light environment-Comes with a nice carrying case and useful wires and adapters
Comment:
Very good small projector, surprisingly cheap for whats it's capable of. Better if kept in a light controlled room. Integrated speakers are ok but pluging in a surround sound system definitely improves experience. Makes a nice projector for gaming on a budget since it virtually has no lag.

Cons: cables are not standard

Pros: Very compact, lightweight, ipod dock
Comment:
I bought this for use in a classroom. Been happy so far, no issues. As the other reviewer said, the VGA cable doesn't lock so sometimes disconnects if you change touch the system. One issue I had is after I showed a short video on it using my iphone, 12 hours later I tried to watch something on utube but the phone thought I was still connected to the projectore. Uncool!! Turned off the phone and re-booted and it was fine. Otherwise, easy to figure out, am fine with external power source. I needed something that I could back away and store easily and frequently. This fits the bill. Very good picture for my uses in a classroom and the iphone dock has purpose in my music room. Speakers are quiet - I just put this through my soundboard/sound system and all is good. Happy, but may not purchase again if I'm in the market.

Cons: Extra power adaptor to carry, non-standard inputs, noise in the audio out

Pros: Nice Size, Good Case, Good Build Quality, iPhone Dock
Comment:
I was trying to pick between this and the Optomas ML500. I ended up buying this one. However the struggle that I have went thru might be useful for u people. I am not real satisfied but I dont wanna pay the 15% restocking fee.1. It is smaller. Therefore the power adaptor is external. If you are going to take this thing around the house, you will need to bring the power adapter too. Unlike the optomas you can just buy cheap standard power cords.2. None of the inputs are standards. Therefore you need to convert ur HDMI to Mini-HDMI (adds weights to the side of the projector. The 30pin RGB/VGA is a piece of shit. It doesn't lock and might go out of place.3. Device not grounded. Therefore you hear a lot of noise from the audio output. The optomas doesn't even have the audio output. This one does, but with such amount of noise you cant even use it.4. You can spend $30 for a iPad HDMI adaptor and you get the same effect as the iphone dock. Plus when you phone is docked the screen goes side ways. Very weird.5. Brightness. This one is 200 ANSI, Optomas is 500. To be honest I think 200 is bright enough. At least for me it is. I dont know what 500 is gonna be like but if I reli want brightness I would go for non-LED ones. The Optomas is more money. It is reasonable for it to be brighter anyways.
