Cons: incompatible with P8Z68-V Pro motherboard and possibly all Intel(R) 82579V ethernet PHY's

Pros: fast gigabit speeds, low power consumpton, high reliability of transmission
Comment:
Hi I have had this switch for like a year now , I have 5 or 6 devices connected and it performaExcept... that it was incompatible(tested, confirmed) with my ASUS P8Z68-V Pro board that I recently purchased. This board has the Intel(R) 82579V Gigabit Ethernet PHY and either the ethernet adapter or the switch would cause the system's link to go down and back up about 3-4 times a minute, and result in a roughly 40% packet loss. This switch is *supposed* to be 802.3u and 802.3ab compliant, so I don't know where the incompatibility is coming from. Hopefully NCIX will straighten this out for me since I purchased both devices from them.

Cons: No way to wall mount it

Pros: Simple to setup, works great. Supports jumbo frame.
Comment:
Greta little router. Does come with a desktop stand (to make it stand vertically), but no way to mount it to a wall.

Cons: - Big power plug takes 2 power outlets

Pros: + Excellent speed+ Solid Construction
Comment:
Tested with jperf and got a solid ~940 mbps speed in both a home and an office network. They could have had a cable come out of the power adapter, instead of having the plug in the whole damn thing in the outlet. Good switch for the price (when on sale).

Cons: None

Pros: Reliable, well built

Works perfectly, however, warning, I just received an update  for my rebate that was rejected because the purchase location (here NCIX), was invalid!Just an update. NCIX went to bat for me and contacted Netgear about this rebate and now they're accepting it. Top notch customer service and great prices is why I continue to shop here :) This review was modfied by poster @ 11-20-09 09:25 AM

Pros: -works right out of the box-looks nice-fast
Comment:
This is the first switch I've ever bought and I am surely not disappointed. The switch works right out of the box without any software. I hook up all my game systems, my computer and printer to this switch and it works flawlessly. Great product, highly recommended.

Cons: Plastic

Pros: Very good price per portQuiet, no fan
Comment:
I now have three of these :-)This switch works fine. It's a good little unmanaged switch. It has a great price for the number of ports although it feels a bit cheap because of the plastic whereas their GS108 made of metal is more solid.

Cons: None so far, worked great out of the box!

Pros: -Small-Long Power Cable-Vertical Stands are great-Lights Identifying Speed of the port
Comment:
I got this to use as a local network to transfer at Gbit speeds via Ethernet, what this plugs into is my WRT54GL (flashed with DD-WRT), which connects to my basement router via Client Bridged. What this will allow me to do now is instead of plugging stuff into my WRT54GL 54Mbps ports, I will be able to plug them into my switch and recieve up to 1Gbit speeds. Works great so far, this PC is showing a green light (Gbit) and the router is showing an orange light (100Mbit) and everything is great. For 34$ you can't go wrong! (79.99 on sale for 59.99 but with Mail in Rebate -> 34.99)

Pros: very pleasing looking, does not run hot
Comment:
Worked right out of the box.Haven't had an issue with it yet. Using 6 of the ports andthe transfer speed is really fast to all my PCs and the NASthat is also hanging off of it.

Cons: None. Except that when the number on the switch switches to orange, it goes back to 10/100mbit mode

Pros: Just works like it supposed to be
Comment:
Bought this to upgrade my current network infrastructure backbone to Gigabit Ethernet. Works well with my WRT54GL and my WRT54Gv5 and both access points are loaded with DD-WRT.
