Appears difficult and tough. Good locking connectors. It worked quite well with an external USB2 drive when coiled. But when uncoiled and run 25 ft. the disk would not remain mounted for a lot more than a second or two. Possibly as well sensitive to electric field interference. May well work if you can run it separately from the energy cable. Regrettably I can\'t. IOGear assistance was unavaialbe on their 24-hour chat. No directions or specs included in packaging nor on the web that I could find. I guess they assume it will just operate. Manufacturer Response:1st, thank you for deciding upon IOGEAR. Functions as indicated. Price!!! I wish it was something like ร.99 insted of า.99 I used this to place a hub underneath my coffee table for hooking up gaming controllers and headsets and other items as required. I utilised a common extension cable and it triggered difficulties so I bought this cable to hopefully prevent this situation and the cable worked as indicated. |

There doesn't seem to be any excellent loss on this issue, which for a USB cable of this length is quite awesome. None. Comes with a smaller extender in case you can't match your USB cable in the female end. |
Nice price tag. Nicely reputed brand. Doesn't operate. Not all lines had been intact inside sheething. Indicator light was lit on female finish indicating a operating connection, and with all but 1 line on some functions worked albeit irratically. Regrettably we took to long to figure out where the actual problem was and it is no longer returnable. If it was working and the factory tested each and every cable with a tester as we ultimately did (i know i know, begin at the simple stuff) I am certain it would be a decent solution. Nevertheless I would speculate that they are based on the indicator light for trusted info just as we did.
