Native HDMI Audio output.Quiet operation.Excellent for HTPC Use As destroid seasoned I as well had troubles with this card I had Lockup difficulties with this card. I although am a bit much more stubborn about processing an RMA just but.What I have discovered is the fan handle seems to be broken, it stats at 1% no matter the load. I pushed it to 40% and now as of the moment I have not had a lockup in the final two hours. This will be a wonderful card if the difficulties can be sorted out. Hopefully Gigabyte/Nvida can sort it out. |

I like this card, will beat a couple of HD 4550s in CF, least on my box. Have not seen how far it will go, benched at 725뫪, shader 1600. No issue with AM3, 3DM 01, 03 & 05, 06 was a small jerky, all on Windows XP. Have not attempted it with Vista yet. Ran cool and not very loud. This Gigabyte version of the GT 220 has 1GB of DDR3, which is unique from the norm. This is a barebones kit with basically the card and a manual. The card will assistance two DVI or two D-SUB/VGA connections but you'll need adapters which aren't included. Almost certainly true for any GT 220, to help audio more than HDMI there is an on-board audio adapter. Regrettably for me, I can't locate a way for Windows to continue to use my motherboard's on-board audio.In regard to somebody's comment about packaging, it was packaged completely in a suitable-sized box with peanuts for cushioning. |

Fabulous performance increase over my 8500 GT with 500MB. Not a gamer, but can be demanding on graphics & high res video. This was a really great worth w/rebate that finally enables Windows 7 w/all the gimmicks to be running as quick & slick as XP would favor discount to rebate Expertise score saw a two-point improvement up to six.5 - like a new machine! |

Had preceding issues operating Bioshock (the game) as it has considerable needs to run properly...set up this card at it's default settings and set Bioshock to it's Maximum settings and it took me to a complete new plane of existence! Far out! So simple to set up. Runs on a 350 watt energy provide. Extremely "user-friendly" card. And I seriously can't hear the fan as someone stated before. None yet Newegg...You do rock! I'm employing this in my principal Computer which also doubles as a HTPC (small apartment!) and for that it shines. Playback of 1080p MKV files is flawless. Really like how it offloads all of the graphics processing from the CPU. I can run other tasks in the background on my LCD monitor via DVI although watching 1080p or decrease res video on my Plasma through the HDMI port. Huge stage up from 7600GT which I paid three occasions as substantially for at the time I purchased it. Had audio syn problems with that card on several 1080p MKV files but none with this 1.Naturally not a "serious" gaming card but this is not a concern for my usage and the games I have played ran just fine (granted the most recent title was HL2). Only complaint I could have is that this is the loudest fan in my situation. I wouldn't say it's exceptionally loud for a graphics card nonetheless. Barely noticeable when my case is closed. Good inexpensive remedy for HTPC in my opinion. Only way it coudl be superior for that objective would be passive cooling.Had problems with the card not recognizing my Plasma Television by way of HDMI soon after powering off the Tv. (When I turned the Television back on it would display "No Signal" for that input. Had to reboot each time to get card to recognize the Tv once more.) This happened soon after I upgraded to the most recent NVIDIA driver on the other hand when I reverted back to the latest driver obtainable on the Gigabyte internet site every thing was back to standard and has been stable for weeks.Asus P5Q Pro TurboCore 2 Duo E85004GB Corsair Dominator 1066 |

rapidly for my dual monitor setup on win7...every thing on screen is smooth and rapidly!... the card is great all round i would say...i needed something with a lil power to run my dual monitor setup on my newly built win7 pc...but the challenge is that i generally get a lockup or BSOD soon after about 3-six hours of my computer being on...there is some type of conflicting problem with my hardware i guess. i cant really locate a "pattern" as to precisely why im possessing this problem. i have updated the drivers on for the card and even went to an earlier version of the driver. also i updated my mobo bios and the cards bios as effectively and nonetheless acquiring the lockups, restarts by itself sometimes, and the infamous BSOD!. mobo: gigabyte p55m-ud2ram: 4gig gskill |

This is a really great primary-stream video card. Adjusts clock and fan as required. Runs very cool 30C for desktop apps. Fan noise not noticeable unless side cover is off. Scores 6.five on Windows Practical experience Index. Excellent upgrade from intregrated video or older cards. Replaced GeForce 8500GT which ran at 59C and four.eightǛ.five Win Exp. Doesn't really feel as quick as a 4760 card but runs cooler and less noise. So it won't play Crysis at a gazillion fps. Wasn't preparing on carrying out that anyhow |

I have an Arch Linux 64bit OS on AMD 4X processor based program. Bought this to try a HTPC project to play High Def, like H264 1080P media.Working with Nvidia's newest driver and VDPAU, playing on SMplayer, I get completly smooth, clear playing BlueRay excellent motion pictures with virtually no CPU load....Now I'll place this card in some spare, low energy hardware I have for a dedicated HTPC box and upgrade to a bigger and better Television! I won't bother with the rebate...... I guess I worth the time I'd devote performing it worth far more than the ฤ.00. BTW: I can't even hear the substantial, but quiet fan in this card.Almost certainly could have identified this less expensive that the ๕.99 I paid, but NewEgg tends to make this so uncomplicated and predictable, I just went for it. |

It has a massive quiet 80mm fan. It runs perfectly smooth with games like COH and COD WAW. The card size is fantastic evaluate with other total size cards. I can simply place it in DELL Vostro 220 case. My windows encounter index graphics score jumped from three.eight to five.6. No HDMI cable in the box. Well , may be I asked also much. |

Rapidly card, quiet fan, registered 6.9 on Windows Experience even though it lasted. Freezes my Windows 7 64 bit setup so had to replace. I have a Biostar tf8200 mb w/ AMD 9600 Phenom and was seeking to upgrade graphics performance. The card functions excellent for about ten-15 minutes then freezes OS. Apparently an situation with the nvidia chipset and Win 7 that Microsoft has not addressed however. Upgraded the BIOS and all the Drivers. The concern seems to be with the most up-to-date computer software and firmware from NVidia operating with Win7. Am back to the mb's onboard video while my Nvidia 9400 GT card worked fine as well. Will attempt ATI next |

It has a nice package. I'm not going to rip this card up. It just didn't have sufficient goodness to run my 23" HD Monitor playing WoW over 20fps with medium game settings. And the fan scared the crud out of me when it kicked in about an hour soon after the game had been operating. Fantastic enough for someone else just not me. |
Good card on the specs side if I get it working. Is the manual for this card or some other? Any of you initially adopters see a plug on the card for power? The Manual says to make positive and plug in the energy to the card. There is nowhere to plug anything in and I have been seeking. Manual says minimum 450 watt energy provide. Why, if there is no extra power plug and I only have 1 hard drive, 1 DVD writer. This Gigabyte Graphics card is going in a Gigabyte Motherboard. I believed it would be a excellent marriage since I had fantastic luck with all 4 of my builds working with Gigabyte, but the the manual is producing me believe thrice about that decision. Terrible descriptions and images are also negative. I may come back with a new evaluation based on what happens next. Any comments Gigabyte?
