Cons: And then the crashes. Lots at first (event 4101 driver blahblahblah) then after adaptive v-sync and newer (320.18 +) drivers worked very well. only 1 crash every week thereabout.A few instances of artifacts (< 10 so far).Just over 4 months to receive gigabyte mir.

Pros: Great card when it works.Always cool even under heavy load with hot (30 deg c) ambient temps.Quiet.Handles most games at high to ultra settings.
Comment:
I tried many many many ways of diagnosing the crashes, and many other (albeit older) gpu's both team green and team red and i couldn't crash any of them. After i got all the crashing under control this card works well. But as soon as the core hits 1188mhz (gpu boost, not any oc by me) crash. But if I underclock by 10-15 mhz on the core (afterburner) it runs 99% flawlessly. Alas, tonight just playing sc2 good ol' crash. If not for this major flaw would've given it 5 stars ez pz, as is 3 is rounded up from 2.5...it's better than 2 but it's not a 3.

F*** 60$ off a week after I purchased it...oh well, the card itself is good, but if you're considering this card might as well get a gtx 760 instead

Cons: The overclock seems unstable. Getting quite a lot of GPU crashes while gaming (Win 7). GPU crashes are happening under linux as well running CUDA apps.Strange groan noise sometimes under load, not fan related. No Canadian RMA address for Gigabyte.

Pros: Great performance when it isn't crashing.
Comment:
When it works for a while, and I temporarily forget about the GPU crashes, the performance is fantastic.I could live with the odd noise I get sometimes under load, but the instability isn't acceptable.I'm glad it has a 3 year warranty, unfortunately having to ship it to a US address means extra cost in both directions. (Yes, Gigabyte covers the return shipping... but UPS will still charge me international brokerage)

Cons: - slight rattling sound on some occasions due to the fan vibration. - could not overclock the core clock speed without changing the voltage.

Pros: - Price- Performance - Can overclock memory clock speed further (stable at 475 mhz OC)- Operates at below 70 degrees under full load (20 degrees room)
Comment:
Simply amazing performance for the price you pay.

Cons: overclock not entirely stable

Pros: beast performance, one of the best price/performance cards available
Comment:
This card has incredible performance, but I've been getting some weird crashes in Crysis 2, Dead Space 3, and Far Cry 3. After reading some Crysis 2 forums, this can be caused by factory overclocked cards not being entirely stable. The solution is to lower the clock speed or increase the voltage. After doing so, the crashes in Crysis 2 and Dead Space 3 stopped. Haven't tried the fix on Far Cry 3 yet. Excellent card, spectacular performance; just wish Gigabyte had put a bit more effort into making sure the overclock was stable before shipping.

Pros: Great graphics cardSolid FPS on ultra for most games (Far cry 3)quietcool

Great card, every game I've thrown at it (well only have like 4 games) on ultra worked amazing on Ultra, maxed out everything. very quiet, temperatures on ultra go to about 60 degrees Celsius after playing for about 4 hours and about 29 idle with stock cooler.

Pros: Great for SLi systemsFactory overclockedRuns very cool
Comment:
This is an amazing card, I recently purchased it for Christmas and I've been able to run everything on max settings averaging around 50-60 fps. I typically use vertical sync so frame rates may be significantly higher. Any game that I throw at it, it runs flawlessly.

Cons: Not the most elegant looking of coolers. This might be a con for some, but in my windowless case it's not a problem.Gigabyte OC GURU isn't the greatest app in the world. It works, but it's a little limited. MSI Afterburner and EVGA Precision do work though, so this isn't a huge issue. Not so great if you want to mine BitCoins. This card does around 100 mhash/s where my 5870 did close to 260 mhash/s. It's a very well known difference between the two vendors. Figured it was worth giving a cursory mention.

Pros: Very fast Graphics Card for the money. Runs everything I've thrown at it so far at Max settings.Very quiet fans. I can barely hear the thing running even when it's under full load. Temperatures stay in the 6x range under load. With manual fan control I can get them down into the 50's, but then it isn't quite as quiet.Easy to overclock. I haven't tried to push it as far as it can go yet, but I threw a 300 Mhz overclock at the memory and the card just sort of yawned at me.Came flashed with the latest BIOS so I haven't had the stability issues some have reported.
Comment:
Coming from an ATI Radeon HD 5870 I was really surprised by not only the jump in performance this card gave me in games, but the distinctly more refined look that NVIDIA's default driver settings give games. I missed the offer for a free AC3 code, but given the price I paid for the card I can't really complain. I don't think there is anything better than a GTX 660 Ti in the Under $300 bracket.

Cons: -Not exactly the best looking card-PCIe power jack placement a little awkward

Pros: -Auto overclocks (mine goes up to 1215MHz as is-Cool and quiet-Good price to performance ratio-Runs most games at 1080 and highest settings
Comment:
Bought this to replace an outdated HD 4850, the difference was crazy. Battlefield 3 settings went straight to 1080p and ultra with no lag, whereas the 4850 was running at medium and 720p.Noise wise, this card is very quiet. It blends in very nicely with the low speed 120mm fans in my case. I can't hear any difference, which is saying something because the 4850 was running with an Accelero S1.Temperatures go up to around 65C running Furmark. Note that my case is built with very good airflow all around. Since this card doesn't exhaust the hot air, it's important to keep in mind that it'll be warming up the inside of your case.

Cons: - Rebate is an Amex Card (no choice)- Not the prettiest card (not a real con)- Not as silent as I expected (though I'm ok with it)- Fans are stuck at 40% minimum. Why?? (There's no reason to do this.)- No additional goodies in box (not something I really care for anyway)

Pros: - Excellent performance- Price! Got it at $263 + free shipping (and a free game that I won't play), which is crazy good price/performance ratio- Can overclock really well if you get a good one (and there seems to be plenty of good ones out there). Mine is decent enough.- Very impressive cooling solution. Makes the bland design something easy to overlook.- Can play every game maxed out on 1080p. Almost everything on 1600p.
Comment:
Took a while before I could get my hands on it because of the Christmas craze.... was worth the wait. I think this is the only card to get if you are not a maniac who needs the best of the best. This will run anything at 1080p max, and I game at 1600p at max with everything so far. The price is much better than the 670 GTX and you will get the same performance with a slight overclock (which is pretty much guaranteed here).First thing I noticed is that I haven't gotten any game crashes except when I overclocked too high. I get random driver crashes once in a while when I'm on an internet page though (a YouTube video mostly). But before that my ATI card was crashing all the time (5970) which is why I switched. I like that when there's a crash the driver gets back on immediately, unlike ATI which made me BSOD all the time. I don't know if this is driver related or if it's the card. For those who care, I get a 9250 graphics score on 3dmark11 (Performance) with my max stable overclock. The best game boost ends up being around 1215 MHZ and the base clock 1089 Mhz. Best I could do on memory was +425 MHz, which is pretty decent. One additional thing is that I am disappointed by Gigabyte's rebates... I just hate rebates. Last time it was ASRock and their stupid rebate time-delay and this time it's Gigabyte who forces you to get an Amex card. I hope I won't have any problems using it (if indeed they accept it, the other problem with rebates). Oh well, if you price match this card or get it on sale you have an already kick ass deal anyway.Do yourself a favor and get this card. You end up with the same power as the 670 for almost $100 less, and only slightly more than a 660 (non-Ti) which isn't nearly as good. There is no reason to spend more on a video card unless you are misinformed or need to play the current most demanding games on 1600p maxed (which is silly since this will run them on high, not a big difference!). This card is awesome. I don't even need to OC it and it runs to 1230Mhz and the temp is around 50C which is completely AWESOME! However, if you are those kind of people that wants to look into your case 24/7 instead of using the card, then this isnt for you. It isn't the prettiest card in the world, but it gets the JOB DONE!

Excellent price for performance after rebate. Almost matches the GTX 670s that I've already got in Skyrim, Diablo III performance. Perfect match for the 1080p monitors. Only wish was that the heatsink assembly didn't extend as far as it did past the end of the card.

Its a hell of an upgrade going from a 5750 even with my i7 860 cpu at stock speed and 1333Mhz ram wich are probly holding the card back. The fans on this are silent in most games they stay at 40% and the heat doesnt go over 60.c sept in a couple games like saints row 3 and grid those 2 games make the card hotter for some reason tops out at 72.c.
