Card performs wonderful. I don't do a lot of gaming, but when I do this card is awesome. None that I can discover. (unless I want it to do anything really nice like take more than the globe) I believe most of the issues folks have with the cards that operate are most likely software program (though hardware is possible). I favor the way Nvidia writes their drivers they look far more stable and far more versatile.

If you are an overclocker attempting to get even more out of this card, you ought to know that Gigabyte's BIOS clocklocks at 960MHz. I've been gaming at 1920x1200 for practically three years with a 9800GTX+ Going from a single 9800 GTX+ to just a single 5770 was a wonderful upgrade. After a week of playing on the lone 5770, I kept considering about that second empty CrossfireX slot and knew I had to place it to use, so I bought yet another. These two cards, functioning together, are incredible. Scalability of these 5770's suggests I'm finding virtually double FPS in my games and can now run most something with 8xAA 16XAF at 1920x1200 on my 24" LCDInstallation of the second card was so straightforward, I uninstalled the ATI drivers, then shut the pc down, popped the second card in, attached the CrossfireX bridge, powered up, installed the most recent catalyst drivers and that's it.Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD4P MotherboardAMD Phenom II X4 940 3.0GHztwo Gigabyte HD 5770 Super Overclock CrossfireX ConfiguredASUS Xonar D1 Sound Card8GB GSkill DDR-800 CAS four-4-four-12Thermaltake 750 Watt Modular Power Supply2x Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 250GB Raid 24"

Excellent price tag. Fantastic performer. Good searching card. Much better venting out the rear would be nice as the hot side of this card traps heat in the case. So the card runs warm. Can't bitstream HD Codecs. Could be a thing I'm carrying out. Bought this to jam into an HTPC case. I required a mid-ranged properly priced vid-card. I wanted to game and be capable to run all the bells and whistles. So far, this card performs nicely. Tested it at 1920x1080i in FFXIV with everything on higher and anything turned on and this card just keeps going w/ no difficulties.I combined an i3 three.2Ghz w/ a nMediapc 5000B and a MSI H55M-E33 mobo. Almost everything fit fantastically inside this mATX case.If I can repair the HD Codec BitStream challenge, I would come back and add that last egg.

Good card for the price, mailing in the rebate tomorrow. Religiously utilized their mobos/video cards back when I worked pc repair and wanted to rekindle my enjoy with this video card.Card idles in upper 30's, gets up to mid-50's when I tested it on SC2/Fallout3/TF2. Ran all games in higher to Ultra quality at 1920x1080 without having a hitch. This card is replacing my 4890 which was operating way too hot. None so far. Card is a small heavy due to the heatsink, but that's typical of most cards these days. I was a small worried about heat due to my ASUS M4A89GTD mobo making use of the second PCI-E slot as default for 16x, so I place a 120mm fan next to the card to move air, but I'm fairly positive I don't will need it at this point.Program:Gigabyte Aurora 3D Case (A little aged, but nevertheless kickin)Phenom II x6 1055T (OC'd to 3.2GHz)ZALMAN 9500A-LED CPU CoolerASUS M4A89GTD ProG.Ability Ripjaws Series 4GB ƒ x 2GB) DDR3 1600

Runs most all new games more than 100fps, older ones like bf2 and cs:s at 150+fps(running dual hd 5770 xfire) card is heavy and bulky but also extremely heavy duty. catalyst allows simple oc abilities, nevertheless i have not overclocked them and i still can run everygame on ultra high settings and not miss a beat. soon after hours on oblivion it was difficult to come back to reality ;) running dual hd 5770's working with crossfire, the bottom card is not my key a single but it vents its heat towards the main one particular, leaving my concern of it getting the major card too hot. on the other hand the case i have allows a side fan to vent video cards so its easliy overcame. i utilised to reside and die by Nvidia but ati is my new adore affair. cannot wait for bf3 to hit the shelves. this card for the price tag offers you all the bells and whistles that for a gamer who has cutting edge graphics on their thoughts but doesnt want to blow a load on just a single card. you can get two of these mid-high range 5770's for the price tag of a single super high finish card.

BEASTLY Strong Card......It's merely effective......a Effective card on a spending budget...and this card, operating at 900MHz, it's a beast that's difficult to handle! 1 issue that did bother me (i dont know if it is this precise card model or the complete radeon HD5770 Line) is that the vram chips are on bottom of card....if you are acquiring this card as a affordable overclock...you may anticipate some difficulties escalating VRAM Speed Best of the line parts, and a good quality develop...it's a card that's completely worth it!

This card is with no a doubt a reason for persons loyal to NVIDIA to try ATI. I have often applied NVIDIA cards up until this one particular, and it with out a doubt destroys the competition in its price-to-efficiency ratio.Crysis: WARHEAD at 1280x800 at max settings still nets 30+FPS, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising maxed out at 1680x1050 with Anti-Aliasing 40FPS, and STALKER: Clear Sky and STALKER: Call of Pripyat almost maxed out at 40+FPS. Frontlines; Fuel of War maxed out at 60FPS strong.1GB of RAM genuinely shines when using 3D-accelerated VMs, due to the fact with VirtualBox each VM can use up to 128MB - great if you run far more than 1. Ubuntu v10.04 with full desktop effects flies, even virtualized.Numerous internet sites highly advisable this card, and it is extremely clear to see why. I pondered more than buying this overclock version against a typical 5770, coming from a GeForce 8800GTS. This was absolutely the much better deal. None that truly count. With this card, it's either high-res with most settings maxed out, or maxed out settings and a reduce res 񢀠x900 or 1280x800 for me). I'll accept this as a facet of not owning two. Not actually a con. -Runs each game I've had on it on medium to higher settings.-Runs quite quiet, my side fans are significantly louder.-Runs fairly cool (ា*C) on most games, nevertheless I ran furMark (as a test since of BSOD issues) and it got up to 95*C (still no difficulties even though) Numerous of my games (Heroes of Newerth, World of Warcraft) will play fine for about 30 minutes prior to the computer system throws a Blue Screen naming the graphics card (BCCode 116 atikmpag.sys) as the culprit, my temperatures never go above 70*C even on high settings. This will occasionally come about even when the pc is idle for a couple of hours. I have tried to perform with Gigabyte on this concern, even so my ticket has been open for over two weeks and I have nonetheless made no progress. I would be additional than glad to raise this to five stars if I could find some resolution to this issue, nevertheless presently it's a 贶 paperweight. I normally use Nvidia graphics cards and figured I would attempt an ATI card just to see what the distinction was. I will under no circumstances make this error once again, I'm sticking with Nvidia. Runs most games at a decent framerate on high settings. Keyword: most. Whilst playing WOW, the video card stops responding, fans turn off, and screen goes blank. Amazing. Handles anything I want. Playing Just Trigger two, Arkham Asylum, Starcraft 2. Haven't tested Crysis or whatever on it but I'm positive it should be fine. Just Trigger two is a pretty major atmosphere game and it chugs along just fine. I had concerns just before obtaining this mainly because I've read of buggy difficulties but so far it's very good. When you do the hardware installation, make positive you don't have any preceding graphics drivers and go to the ATI site to get the newest drivers from them (not through anyone else). Nil. When it worked it was a great. It ran each and every game I threw at it on all high settings (i.e. MW2, Borderlands, Fallout 3, GOW, Mafia 2, MoH:Tier 1) Properly about two months in I began obtaining overscan troubles and random crashes. Then it was start up complications. Computer would start up fine but there would be nothing on the monitor or my Wacom tablet, just a black screen. So I tried a GTX260OC and that worked fine. Then I attempted a Asus EAH5770 and that worked fine. Generally purchase a warranty. I did not and don't really feel like throwing any cash at this and possibly going thru a larger headache later on. Excellent performance and effortless set up. More affordable than other branded cards with the very same chipset. I managed to snag it when it was only 149.00 which include the ten dollar rebate. The heatsink is Large and may possibly hurt the potential to run a crossfire setup on specific motherboards. I enjoy this card.
