Great Product. Def improvement on HD 5850 runs cool and stable. 38-45 c Idle and no much more the 68 c on load. Cooling functions far better then the stock on other 6970's. Value was right.Every single Game with each and every perk complete out. Vast improvement on tessellation increasingly significant on new games. Crysis 2 runs highest settings smooth as butter. Metro 2033 with 5850 15-30 frames per sec with this card 30-55. Power hungry. Doesn't have the same outputs on back as the other 6970's, outputs incorporate 1 display port, two DVI, 1 HDMI Vs. standard 6970 2 mini display ports, two DVI, 1 HDMI Don't know why this was completed. but unless you do serious 4 screen gaming doesn't matter. Also no bios reset switch, yet again if you don't tweak your card it wont matter. stay away from the stock rear exhaust options the may possibly get as hot as 100 c not very good for you card or your case temps. also the fans tend to die pretty fast

Cons: maybe price...

Pros: AMD 69xx gigabyte design 3 fans
Comment:
gigabyte 6970 has 3 fans to keep it cool, top line product.very powerful for gaming, much better and cooler than my old 5870.if price could be lower since 7970 is out, buy.

Cons: warranty is not as good as other brands

Pros: fan design is better than most other brands
Comment:
Bought this for Battlefield 3. With adequate system specs this can handle the 'ultra' setting for graphics quality--good for campaign, but a little too demanding for mutiplayer. For multiplayer I set the graphics to 'high' for more reliable framerates (50-60fps).

I got greater frame rates when testing out a couple of games when I got it yesterday. Borderlands could not be anymore smooth and Crysis 2 looks beautiful. I saw performance increases as properly in C2 as I upgraded from a 6870 Vapor-X. I have read and watched videos on Gigabyte's Windforce cooling technologies and I am incredibly impressed. When I was playing Borderlands co-op with a friend last night, we spent about three.5 hours playing. Temps in no way even went passed the 50's and idles among 29-30. I have my card is in a Cooler Master HAF 932 full tower. None Some of you may possibly wonder about the small upgrade from a 6870 to a 6970. Properly, I was not going to invest $ on a 6990 and I've heard superior issues about the a variety of 6970's (reference/non-reference). I liked how it had 2GB of memory rather of 1, higher memory clock, and higher stream processors. I'm happy with the obtain.I strategy to write an additional evaluation later after I have far more high quality time with this card.* * * * * * * * * *RIG: Cooler Master HAF 932 full ATX tower, ASRock P55 Extreme mobo, Intel Core i5 quad-core (Lynnfield), 4GB Corsair memory (DDR3), Corsair 750W PSU (Modular Skilled series), Gigabyte Radeon HD 6970 ƒGB)MONITOR: LG 23" widescreen full HD LED

Cons: Unable to adjust GPU and Memory voltages, if it could I am sure overclock will be a lot better.

Pros: Runs very cool, only 60degree underload. Good pricing on this overclocked edition with better heatsink and fans.

Upgraded from my Nvidia 8800GTS 320mb huge upgrade for me! I got two of these running on crossfire overclockedn 910mhz Gpu and 6gb/s on memory! Like I said if this card allows for voltage adjustment, I am sure I can hit a lot higher on the GPU. I am still very happy on the purchase, highly recommended!

Cons: Bitcoining and the no new cards till 2012 announcement has driven these cards u like 15 percent pr something. Supply n demand i guess.

Pros: Does more than 2 monitors fast quiet. Plays Witcher 2 like at 60fps.
Comment:
Upgraded from a gtx275. Wanted more than 2 monitor setup so I couldn't use nvidia. But I'm really happy with this none the less.It is 920mhz out of box and it overclocked high then that too but i turned it back down. Lots of power for now.Video Cards have increased in price lately. I wanted a full size display port as well as hdmi and the 2 dvi's.And was oc at 920mhz. There are two verions of these too. i got the oc2 version for lot less then this price. good ol pricematch

Cons: large card - barely fit into my case

Pros: smooth textures, great detail, quiet
Comment:
I upgraded a Gigabyte HD4890OC w/ Zalman cooler, which was still running great. But it was time to get into DX11. This card is huge and barely fit into my i-Solo 230 case. It will be impossible to fit another card for cross-fire at a later date without modification to the case. First thing I noticed was, dispite the three fans, it is much quiter that the card I took out. New drivers loaded right in, after a driver sweep to remove old ones. Games run smooth & fast r 1980x1020 on a 23"ws monitor. I am drawing a bit slower frame rate than the reviews that I have read. This I attribute to my Phenom IIx4 940 3GHz chip verses the I7's that most reviewers are using. but we are only talking about 5fps or so.This card is more that what I really needed but gives me room to expand to multi monitors down the road. Overall i am very impressed and happy with this card.
