Bought for 100$ and came with Far Cry 3. For that price, it was a steal for me. Wanted to use it for my little brother that wanted to play LoL

Cons: It's no beast.

Pros: Great for a media pc and light gaming.

I bought this for my HTPC. I wanted a quiet low power video card to hardware decode my blu ray library. This one fit the bill and without having to driver hack an NVIDIA card to get full 0-255 RGB output. On top of that I can play Skyrim from my couch.

Cons: From what I've seen online this card is pretty much max'd out for stable OC with factory cooling (I've not tried myself). Any further OC would likely require water cooling or similar plus possible volt mod. BUT as previously mentioned the card is designed such that replacing the cooler should be trivial.

Pros: a) Price - $99 after MIR !! My last card was a 6450 for ~$60b) Silent as a mouse - the large fan runs silent in every load I've thrown at this cardc) Card design - memory and GPU are colocated under the heatsink making it easy to replace the cooler should one decide to do sod) Performance - able to put out a mix of max/ultra quality settings depending on resolution preferencee) Power consumption - only recommends a 450 watt power supply, my last card 6450 recommended 400 wattf) Works great on PCIE 1.1 - although card is PCIE 3.0 my MB only supports 1.1, some cards in the past I've seen are picky.Great purchase ~most likely the last GPU I'll buy for this system build. Thanks AMD for elevating the entry level!

I was going to wait a week or so to write a review, but I had nothing to do today so I just sat here and ran a few games, benchmarks and played some videos.Ran BF3 for about 3-4 hours at 1920x1080 and everything set at low (I don't really care about the cheessy effects and stuff) and the game ran at 47 to 107FPS. Actually the only time it dipped below 58FPS was (strangely enough) after I died and the kill screen was showing.I also played FarCry2 at Ultra on DX10 with a Graphical Enhancement Suite mod. It was beautiful. The game set it's own frame rate to 30FPS lowest. During the heavy scenes(things blowing up, people moving around) the framerate actually picked up. Had no lag whatsoever. Also ran the Just cause 2 everything on max and it was great. I couldn't get FPS reading as my Fraps quit. I am running Win8 and fraps has, very often trouble running on it.WEI is 7.43DMark 11 put the whole system at 3271.AMD FX-6100 u4.0GhzAsus M5A97 R2.0 mobo8GB Kingston RAM at 1600 (oc'ed from 1333)If it wasn't for this stupid Windows 8 incompatibilities I would run more tests. Also my monitor is a piece of junk that runs at 1920x1080 but only has a VGA input so true HD is out for me.

Cons: - Non-reference design. Harder to find aftermarket cooling for things such as Water Blocks.

Pros: - Excellent Value- Very quiet- Keeps cool
Comment:
This video card is an excellent value. Very inexpensive (Got mine for $119 with an additional $20 MIR bringing it down to $99 After Rebate), yet extremely good performance for the price. This replaced a Radeon HD 4850, it runs almost twice as cool, and it's quite a bit better in games. It's certainly not going to get you 60+ FPS in Battlefield 3 v1080p+ res, but it also won't cost you $300. For a low to mid-range gaming PC, or for an upgrade to an older system, you can't go wrong.

Cons: Strange occasional flickering and freezing of gui, images, and video in firefox with Catalyst 12.7 (I think that's the version I have right now). Hopefully these issues will be resolved soon. I might try installing an older driver to see if that fixes it.

Pros: Quiet. Short card length. Supposedly higher quality components. Stock overclock of 1050 Mhz. Runs cool. Comes with Free game. Almost as fast as a Radeon 6850 and way more efficient. Can run everything I've thrown at it quite well. 3 year warranty. Overclocks to 1070Mhz stable. Ncix is offering this card for an excellent price lately. At around 90 to 100 dollars, there is nothing even close to as fast as this that is the same price or less.
Comment:
I really like the fan on this card. The cooler doesn't look like much, but it works really well. It's a good bang for buck card, especially at only 90 dollars. Many people probably don't need anything better than this card.It now doesn't go above 66 degrees in furmark, which means in games it's probably even less than that. Temperatures were at 72 degrees in Furmark at first, but after a day, the temperatures went down. this is probably because the thermal paste had to be broken in or "burnt in." So don't judge thermal performance on the very first try. Some kinds of thermal paste need time for the performance to optimize.
