Cons: Long, a little loud, bad experience with Never Settle Forever

Pros: Runs cool, powerful, blue pcb looks slick
Comment:
Takes any game I throw at it at 1080p and Windforce cooling keeps it under 60 degrees at load. Only Crysis 2 and BF4 Beta on highest settings would run at less than 60fps, still very playable though. However, I redeemed Far Cry 3 without hassle but I still have yet to receive a working code to redeem Blood Dragon, and as expected with a video card running 3 fans its a little loud, but nothing unbearable, especially if you're a headphone user. Pros: Cheap price.

I got this card on sale at a great price. I am upgrading form a console to PC user. This cad is good for people that have a tight budget but still want good performance. The graphics I get on this card are fa better than current gen consoles such as the 360 and PS3. A great option for budget builds.

Cons: -The large fan made could take a lot of space in the case-The weight of the fan/heat sink could warp the card in the long run

Pros: -Factory overclocked to 1100MHz-Effective stock cooling solution through 3 fans-Ultra Durable component made OC easier -Competitive pricing and great performance
Comment:
Using this card as a primary in a crossfire configuration, noise is not a issue when idle, since the card doesn't really run unless needed by the application. When running on full load the noise is not a big issue, compare to some leaf-blower fans in the past this is a quiet one. Overall it is a great ban of the buck with the rebate, even with the factory OC it is still cheaper than many of the competitors' stock clocked cards. Cheap it might be, but quality is as good as you can get, no problems for 4 months running full load almost daily on many hot tittles(Tomb Raider 2013, BioShock Infinite, FireFall, FarCry 3). Highly recommend using this card for Multi-GPU configurations.

Cons: In terms of noise levels it is roughly on par with the reference cooler, however the cooling performance overall is seriously better. Remember, this card comes pre-overclocked for you at 1100 MHz and that's quite a high clock frequency. Despite that, the temperature (during gaming) remains below 50 Degrees C, and that is just impressive really.

Pros: -got it on sale for ~219-got it with games bundle on steam-great cooling-accetable noise level
Comment:
second gpu i purchased running in crossfirex, works great and quietly.

Cons: Some artifacts when running some game, although their barely noticeable it does happen briefly every few hours.

Pros: Runs cold, Running on 1920X1200 resolution. Only game that seems to have trouble running is crysis 3. High would be the max setting to achieve a stable 30 FPS. Runs very quietly for a GPU with 3 fans. My computer sits underneath my desk and im barely able to hear (slight fan hum).
Comment:
Awesome Video Card - runs cool around 55C on full load in mid size tower.Great Service - Was missing part of my AMD reloaded game deal, Opened a ticket and a day later all issues were resolved.

Cons: Might be too big for smaller cases

Pros: Runs very cool, can overclock further
Comment:
Purchased this to replace two 4870s in crossfire, this single card puts them to shame. I've overclocked the stock core/mem speeds of 1100/1200 to 1200/1300 respectively by increasing the voltage to 1.25v using MSI Afterburner. Even with overclock, card temp stays around 52C under load which is very impressive. I have an Antec 1200 case (very big) with lots of fans which may attribute for the lower temps compared to the avg system.

I got this card to replace the onboard hd 2500, using for about 6 months, and before that hd 2000 6 months, and before all that the x1650 pro. I'm happy I got this card. At first I was holding out until the 8000 series that won't be till the end of this year (speculation). With the sale, and game bundle, pushed me to get this card. I really like the bundle and surprised it would come with it. I was debating between this and the Asus, and MSI, all were a little bit more in price. I went for the Gigabyte to try it out and read good things about it. I've always been an AMD/ATI user, since the 9500 pro days. This card has three fans, so cooling should be good. You do hear it a little on full load, I'll have to wait till summer to see how it is! Overall, I'm glad I got this card, and the game bundle makes it even more worthwhile. The staff at NCIX are great to deal with and with prompt responses.

Cons: Loud when fans hit 100%

Pros: PowerfulGood price on saleFree games
Comment:
Definitely a steal at $210, plus two free games through the Never Settle promotion. This card performs very well, and I've had no issues with it for gaming. My only complaint is it's pretty loud when you rev the fans to 100%, but it's rare that it hits that except under the most strenuous situations. I just thought with the giant heatsinks and three fans it'd spin a bit slower and quieter under normal use. Oh well, still a phenomenal deal!

I had the HIS IceQ HD7870 GHz Edition for 3 months now and I just bought the Gigabyte one on sale yesterday, for 200 bucks I know I couldn't go wrong! The 7870 runs everything I throw at it (BF3,CS:GO,WoW,Crysis2 etc.) at max with good FPS.The only game that had problems with maxed AA was Crysis 3 MP Beta, I just lowered it a bit and it worked perfectly then. Can't wait to get my second one to crossfire these beasts and see what they can offer me!Honestly, if you get one of these 7870 on sale, you just can't go wrong. My PC Specs:AMD FX-8150 (o3.6GHZ)16GB G.Skill Sniper 1866mhzASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0Seasonic 750W 80+ SilverAntec Nine hundred two blackHIS IceQ HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GBand soon Gigabyte Radeon HD 7870 OC 1100MHZ 2GB :)

Great card I like, however had it not been on sale I would have gone with the 7950. Not to take away from the card, it is really good and will play all current games and upcoming games.

This card is all that you need if you instend to stick to 1080p gaming and will digest everything you throw at it. Every games I tried is fluid with every settings maxed out (paired with a FX 6100) at 1080p (BF3, Natural Selection 2, COD BO2, Sleeping Dogs...)Of course, if you intend to go beyond 1080p you might want to look higher on the food chain.

Got this to upgrade from a 6850 1g what a difference almost double the fps not to mention that it overclocks way better than the last one. Card is massive looks good with the 3 fans never gets to even 50 degrees even overclocked max load

Cons: The only con I might have to add is I wasn't expecting a DVI slot, which was my own problem. Simple fix was just getting a DVI to VGA adapter until I get a new monitor for HD use.

Pros: Well honestly this card runs every single game I throw at it! I have played Skyrim on max settings + HD texture pack for hours on end without even a slight hiccup of going below 60FPS. V-sync enabled. In terms of how quite the GPU is, well I can barely ever hear it! I think my other fans drown out any noise that this thing makes! It's perfect!
Comment:
As far as it outbenching the GTX 580... No. It just squeaks out the GTX 570 by a few frames. The only game for the most part that it benchmarks higher than a GTX 580 is Starcraft II. This game is optimized for AMD/ATI cards from the start. It is fast... Silly fast. Beating a GTX 570 is no joke. I run three in mine pc, and I know what one can do. Don't build it to be more than what it is though.

Cons: AMD drivers are pathetic right now.

Pros: Very fast, 2GB frame buffer, awesome image quality, amazing cooling.
Comment:
This is an awesome video card. It is just a hair slower than the GTX 580 at its default OC 1100/4800 clocks. If clocked just 50 mhz higher on the core to 1150, you are now equal to a GTX 580. For the current price of 279.99, this is the best card you can currently buy for under 300 bucks. You are getting GTX 580 speed for under 300, people. Not to mention that you are also getting that all important 2GB frame buffer. This is a steal. It is the perfect card for single display 1080P gaming. It will run everything out at max settings. I give it 5 stars.Something has to be said though in regards to AMD drivers. Their current driver team needs to be fired. The latest 12.6 and 12.7 drivers have broken display scaling functionality. Many people are also experiencing the problem with system lock up, or black screen/sound loop/fan speed stuck at 100 percent issues. This is completely unacceptable. Come on, AMD, get your act together. I contacted them, and they admitted that they are aware of these issues. I am one of the lucky ones who is not experiencing any of these issues. People should not have to rely on luck though to get a card where all of its features are working correctly, and without instability. Currently, Sapphire cards are the most affected. AMD better get this garbage handled. Upper end video cards are not cheap. We expect them to work as advertised, AMD.

Cons: The heatsink sticks off the back of the card about 3/8 of an inch. Had to move one of my HDDs to allow it to fit properly with the SATA / Power connectors.

Pros: Well built cardVery quiet for the amount of fans on itNo issues so far, plug it in, let 'er fly
Comment:
So far have only been playing Tera on it, but I gotta say - compared to my 4890 OC, this thing is a dream (cranked everything max on my ol' i7-920 2.67 ghz - not a problem). I haven't fully tested anything 'next gen' on it. Big fan of Gigabyte, and so far they haven't let me down.

Cons: No Hdmi -> DVI Adapter

Pros: Blazing fast!
Comment:
This card is incredibly fast. It runs BF3 at 1920x1200 with everything maxed without lag. It's also a lot more quieter than my previous 9800GTX+ and the heatsync is huge! The only con is that it lacks a Hdmi->DVI or DP -> DVI converter. I had to steal an HDMI cable from my TV setup to use my second screen right away. Hopefully I had an DVI->HDMI converter unused. But it still doesn't worth removing a star!
