Cons: voltage locked at 1.25-Horrible for mining if you want to undervolt

Pros: -Triple fan for good cooling-quiet
Comment:
Bought 1 for a mining rig cause I heard these were the best but mine came with f0 bios that makes them unflashable and unable to lower voltage. So instead i went with MSI twin frozr cards.

Cons: nothing really

Pros: Great performanceQuite enoughtemperatures are good enoughgot overclock to 1200mhz
Comment:
First time PC builder. Really happy with this GPU got a 1200mhz overlock on the core even with the voltage lock. People say that roughly you need to have +200mhz on a 7950 to match a 7970 so theoretically overclock on of these to 1200mhz matches a 7970 ghz at 1000mhz at 100$ cheaper. Fans are quiet enough don't really notice them at all when gaming and the temps during 100% load stay around 60 to 67 with overclock which is good enough again. Got 42 FPS on metro last light benchmark utility with everything at very high, texture filtering at x16.All in all this is my first video card purchase but overall very happy with the experience. Got a good/stable overclock, it's not to loud, and temperatures are good enough. The HD 7950 card in general is probably one of the best values for performance propitiations out there.

I've only had it for about a month now, but it has not let me down yet. Whisper quiet, very fast. Benchmarked 56 fps on Ultra in Tomb Raider, as well as a 90 fps average in Bioshock Infinite on max settings. Even after a good 5 hour gaming session, I have yet to hear the fans. For the price and the performance, I highly recommend this GPU.

Built my very first PC with this card last week. Came with Crysis 3 and Bioshock Infinite. Turning off AA (I don't notice the difference), both games play effortlessly at 60fps. Definitely would recommend it to anybody looking for a good value/high performance card -- especially because of the Never Settle bundle!

Cons: No case sticker included :(

Pros: Quite, 3 fans
Comment:
First I should mention I have chosen not to add any pros/cons or to rate this card based on my specific use. I think this is a great card especially for the price. So I've given it 4 stars, because I would buy it again. And any/all pro's/cons listed are unrelated to crypto mining. Now onto business...I just upgraded one of my BTC Mining rig's with two of these cards and running stock with no oc'ing and at 100% load they get super hot (95*C+) and the video cuts out forcing me to reboot. I have to run them with a lower load with lot's of additional cooling fans to get the heat down to a safer temp. (Unless I run them at night with the window open, then they can run at 100% at 88*C.)Both cards give a combined value of about 1051MH/sSo if you plan on using these either use extra cooling, space the cards out better or don't run them at 100% load. (Or don't use a traditional case, and use powered risers.)P.S.There is no DVI to VGA Adapter included, keep that in mind. Also these cards don't play nice with the MSI 970A-G46 due to the placement of the SATA 1/2 Ports as well as Audio and USB connectors etc.. located at the bottom of the board. The 7950 just doesn't want to share the space. The top PCI-E16 slot has no issues.

Cons: Voltage locked to 1.250V

Pros: Fast, decently quiet (I mean, look at those three honking fans!), superb quality, 1000MHz core clock
Comment:
I am currently using this card for Litecoin and cryptocurrency mining, OC'ed to 1100MHz core 1350MHz memory and getting great hash speeds of 650kh/s. I am not using this card for gaming, however the Windforce design keeps the card cool (72 deg max on an open air case). Not too noisy but of course you can hear them three fans going at it.The only disadvantage is voltage is locked to 1.250 (that's quite high, really), so there isn't much leeway in overclocking. There are guides on how to downgrade the firmware (at your own risk) to bring down the voltage to stock 1.090v.Out of the box for gaming or mining, this card is top notch. Great sale price too compared to all other 7950s. I would give it 5 stars, but only 4 due to the voltage lock.

Cons: voltage locked, cannot adjust voltage at all

Pros: fast, has 3 fans, pretty silent
Comment:
Pretty fast card, overclocks ok because it is voltage locked you are unable to tweak it, I wish it could come unlocked, indeed this card has potential but fell short due to its limitations, anyway it was a good buy for the price

Cons: -long and will sag-loud

Pros: +great temps+has cooling on RAM
Comment:
I bought this for a friends build, and I'm dissapointed with how loud it is under load. The card will be at 57°C and the fans will be around 2500rpm. The performance is great, it's just loud for a non-reference card.

Cons: -Consume more power then compared to 660ti-big, so you need to have a big case-slight card sag

Pros: -Powerful-tri fans
Comment:
The card is easy to install with latest drivers proving more then a match for similar cards in the price range. The card has been running everything I play at ultra settings without ocing. Crysis 3 ran smoothly except when I turned on anti-aliasing to 16xx. I missed the new never settle bundle, but free crysis 3 and bioshock is worth it.

Cons: -Only comes with one Mini DP to DP adapter

Pros: -Great Price per performance ratio-Excellent cooling-Not too loud considering 3 fan design-Plenty of Video RAM with 3GB-Comes with all necessary PSU adapter cables-Comes with Crossfire Bridge
Comment:
Upgraded from a Gigabyte HD 7770 OC Edition to this monster. One of the best price/performance cards, with close performance to an HD 7970, with a significantly lower price. It runs idle at around 41 degrees C, with the fan at less than 50% speed. I can't hear the fan at this speed over the rest of the system/ambient noise. Performance is pretty amazing, a vast upgrade from my old HD 7770.The card comes with a 2x Molex-to-6pin PCIe adapter, as well as a 2x Molex-to-8pin PCIe adapter, for those who have older PSU's or are doing Crossfire setups. My PSU had the necessary connections, but it's nice to see this in the box. It also came with a Crossfire Bridge, and a Mini DP to DP adapter.I was disappointed that only one DP adapter was in the box, but this is a VERY minor concern. I don't know of any cards that actually come with 2 of those anyway.I highly recommend this card to anyone looking for a upper highend video card. It offers similar (slightly better) performance to the comparable nVidia card in the same price bracket (this of course varies per game). It offers performance that is not too far below the HD 7970, yet is quite a bit cheaper. An excellent purchase!

Cons: only 1 DVI Very long card

Pros: Quiet PowerfulVery coolgreat performance for the price
Comment:
This card outperform my 6870 CFX setup. Even with a Phenom 955 I get incredible FPS on max settings on all games I've tested. Skyrim, Batman AC, Sleeping Dogs and others. I got the new revision 2 which come with a new bios and default OC clock speed of 1000 mhgz!! The card idled around 35C and under heavy load with Furmark it was only 64C and the fan was spinning at 75%. Great price, outstanding performance, great cooling and 2 free games :). Highly recommended!!

Cons: not reliable. 5 stars for the working one and 1 star for the broken one and customer support I have received.

Pros: Works well when they work
Comment:
Ordered 2 cards both seem to be different versions 1 has and extra set of power pins and an extra heatsink where as the other does not. The one without also ran about 80+ degrees and the one with steady about 68 at full load. The one without the heatsink popped a transistor on the backside of where there would be a heatsink on the other one (related or coincidence I dont know) both gigabyte and ncix tell me that because there is a burn mark that it is physical damage and not covered under warranty (im curious how a product could be broken but not damaged) they both said they will try to help me but it seems to be a long process and want everyone to know how aweful of an experience this has been.

Cons: No matter what you read about this card, it does NOT come with HD3D.

Pros: This card runs like a dream. Plays Cysis 3 on Ultra no problem
Comment:
i loved the card choice at first after reading all the reviews, but once I got the card and found out it conme with HD3D, I was very dissappointed. I was going to return the card to get another with this feature. then I find out NCIX wants a 15% restocking fee, that's $49 I have to pay to return it and spend money on another with them. Unacceptable. Although I rate the card a 4, I rate the store a 2. My rating is for the product only.

Cons: Never got the codes for the Never settle Bundle back in December. Drivers can be a pain when running a multi-monitor setup

Pros: Runs cool and silent. It's stock is overclocked compared to other 7950s and it has a great performance to cost ratio.
Comment:
This card probably has the best performance to cost ratio among high end cards. At stock settings it's fans are almost inaudible and it peaks at 57°C under full load. I'd recommend this card to anyone looking to do some moderately heavy gaming.

I upgraded my video card with this one and i'm very happy with it. Far Cry 3 looks amazing, no worries on playing at very high level of quality. I used to have random NVIDIA driver crashes under Windows 7 so I switched to Radeon and never had a driver crash since.

Cons: Variety of video connections, 2-DVI would be nice, but includes mini-displayport to full size display port adapter. Would be nice if it included mini-displayport to DVI adapter so I could run two DVI LCD screens. The HDMI connector is cramed against the DVI, adapters here will require adapters with cable extension.

Pros: AMD Driver 13.1 took this card to the next level!!!
Comment:
I received the card within 2-days from NCIX and i paid for the slowest shipping option, ordered Monday night, received on Wednesday! NCIX rocks! This card works flawlessly with AMD Catalyst Control Center Driver 13.1. Dont bother downloading Gigabyte's version of the drivers, go straight to AMD. The latest AMD driver increases performance across the board for nearly every game. You can grab Gigabytes overclocking utility if necessary.

Cons: - Fans are 80mm in size which tend to be a bit noisier vs 120mms

Pros: - Easy to overclock- Custom cooling solution (may be a con, see below)- Bundled games for the Never Settle promotion is a great value
Comment:
With the custom cooler on it the 7950 has respectable temperatures (idles at 40C and loads at around 58C). The only worry is these 80mm fans dieing in the future leading to a noisy death. It's quite easy to overclock as well. The software interface is a little gaudy for my tastes but the major tuning options are there.

Got it for 277$ after rebate! It worked like a charm since day one. Graphics are amazing! Can run Battlefield 3 at maximum settings and there is not any FPS drop. Compared to my 5850 crossfire setup, it's a big step forward. I am very satisfied of my purchase and you can't go wrong with GigaByte!
