Cons: - Wish it would have been semi-glossy like my previous BenQ 24".

Pros: - AMVA Panel!- Very good viewing angles, barrely worse than IPS.- Static contrast ratio 3x better than any IPS.- Good OSD menu.- Buttons on the side and it's real buttons, no lame touch!- Anti-Glare screen?- World's first fast VA pannel,4ms and very low input lag unlike all others! Thus making a really good non-120Hz gaming monitor.- Overclockable to 71Hz, better than no thing and anyway best I've seen other than Korean monitors is an old Asus ML239H at 75Hz.- Ridiculously cheap, 160$ + Free shipping though lame 12.25$ eco fees... anyhow, thanks BenQ!
Comment:
Go look at the review on TFT Central, it's really worth the read and I highly suggest you use their recommended calibrated settings and ICC profile. Sure it cannot compete with the smoothness of a 120Hz + Lightboost monitor for fast First Person Shooters but it will blow away the colors and angle of any TN pannel, hell it even beat any IPS screen. VA pannel use to be slow and have major input lag for gaming but this one is the very first one that is ultra fast, among the best in the 60Hz category. At the price on sale, everybody should jump on this monitor, it's a real jewel unknown to most people who keep buying overpriced Asus stuff just because of the big name.

Cons: Does not rotate to portrait.

Pros: Inexpensive, quality, bright, built in speakers
Comment:
Arrived with solid packaging, opened it up everything was wrapped in a layer of plastic to protect from scratches. Base was easy to put together (just snaps in place). fits together securely, nothing that seems like it will wiggle loose, easy to disassemble as well. Was hoping for the ability to set up in portrait, but no big loss that it can't I wouldn't have used that function very often any way.Built in speakers aren't super loud, but you can't ask for much from them.

Cons: Quite a bit of noticeable input lag/ghosting, especially during gaming, and other moving graphics on screen. Text in games blurs quite a bit.

Pros: Nice colors...Deep black as advertised (typical MVA panel colors)
Comment:
Well, it's a good bang for buck monitor. MVA panel is generally supposed to be better than TN, except the tech apparently was "lagging" behind in the past years. I read the review in tft central (http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/content/benq_gw2450hm.htm#input_lag) and according to the numbers this mva screen does a great job. I had to use the premium option under the AMA option to reduce the ghosting and lagging, but it as still slightly noticeable. My LG 19 inch lcd from 2007 for whatever reason had 0 input lag whatsoever. I wish it was larger then i wouldn't even bother buying a new one. Well after about 6 weeks, the AMA overdrive option "died" no longer works and I have massive input lag again. Currently RMA'ed it and waiting to see what happens. Honestly, invest in a higher quality TN panel, unless you really what those dark blacks and deep colors. MVA panels are still way behind in technology when it comes to gaming. If you want this monitor for movies, and causal home use, go for it. I personally would not buy if gaming.

Cons: none really

Pros: price was good on sale24 inch is a nice size for office use
Comment:
Bought this monitor to go with a build I put together for a family member. They really enjoy it. It's no IPS panel, but the colours look pretty good to be honest. The price was right when I bought it. The speakers are weak but ok for watching youtube videos.

Cons: -dead pixel on center bottom but whatever-can't do vertical or tilting adjustments - it locks in however it locks in-only 1 hdmi port, only 1 dvi port, and speakers mediocre but all these are minor compared to value bonus-slow wake time from sleep

Pros: -high definition 1080 p-price and value - lot of bang for your buck (159.99 on sale)-speakers
Comment:
I waited for Black Friday to buy this, I saw it at 149.99 at one point and I should have picked it up then, Black Friday was 159.99. In any case, great price for what you get, an MVA panel 24" monitory at 1080p for 160 bucks? Can't complain though I do have beef with the 11 dollar environmental recycling fee...Hope the province ends that racket. Be sure to test your monitor after you get it. Cons: Only down side is the stand, this would have been a great buy with an adjustable stand.

Pros: Well worth the price, good for regular day to day use or gaming.
Comment:
However the wall mount is a great bonus. Nice clean colours, but the auto adjust is terrible and I find my self having to press the power button multiple times to turn the monitor off.

Cons: HDMI input is disabled by default, need to go into on screen menu to enable it. Long turn-on time from sleep. Dynamic contrast ratio can't be disabled despite on screen display saying it is.

Pros: Great colours, sharp pixels, matte, no obnoxious lights, no dead pixels, good brightness
Comment:
I'm thrilled with the display. Good monitor. No ghosting. Good colours. Good price. Only downside is the auto adjusting brightness which almost makes this a terrible monitor. Very strange, but for desktop use no problems. 99.9% of the time gaming you won't notice.

Cons: Ghosting, Colors,

Pros: Deeps Blacks, Good viewing angles, Price
Comment:
I've be looking for the right monitor for some time now and thought this monitor might be the one, but I ended up sending it back. The biggest problem I had was the overdrive that resulted in some bad ghosting. BenQ's support deemed it faulty and NCIX took it back and gave me refund. Got to say I was very happy with NCIX's customer support. Other than that it was a pretty good monitor. Nice deep blacks, and better viewing angles than my TN(no big contrast shift when you move your head a little). But I couldn't get the colors to look quite right and the AG coating was a little heavier than I would have liked. Also, if you looked at the monitor slightly off angle horizontally, black colors became slightly purple but it was not very noticeable.

Cons: Built in speakers are not that good.Only came with a VGA cord, so I had to go buy a DVI cord to make the most of the monitor.

Pros: Great viewing anglesVery affordableOutstanding contrast ratio and black levels
Comment:
Well worth the cost for a MVA panel monitor. Comes with built in speakers that while not the best can come in handy. The response time is not the best you can get by any standard, but at only a few MS slower than most monitors you wont notice the difference.

Cons: basic stand, no display port

Pros: big, cheap for va panel, integrated speakers, hdmi/dvi/vga
Comment:
uses same panel as many other benq 24", and it delivers just the same. good colors, good black levels, comfortable viewing, angles are great, etc etc. Even response time is decent. Everyone but the most hardcore FPS gamer will have no problem.

Cons: Speakers, splash screen.

Pros: Wall mountable, nice colours
Comment:
Nice price for a 24 inch wall mountable monitor, colours look great. I never understood why they put speakers on a monitor, other than to increase the cost, and this monitor has an annoying splash screen whenever you turn it on.
