Cons: BIOS isn't as mature as it could be

Pros: On board wireless. Video card slot.
Comment:
I built an i5 Lynfield system with this beast, and sofar I am very pleased. Recognized Mushkin Ram and OCZ with no problems. The on board wireless works very well with decent range. Got it on sale with a mail in rebate, for about a hundred bucks. If you can get it for that price I would say it is worth it.

Cons: CPU Socket too close to PCI-e slot (Intel stock coolers are OK though)Wi-Fi card not supported in FreeBSDCPU voltage goes a bit too high under loadNo built-in IDE portPCB components on the other side of CPU socket might interfere with 3rd party heatsink backplates.

Pros: SilentOnly Mini-ITX board with 6 SATA PortsLifetime warranty in Canada
Comment:
I used to run a Windows Server 2003 based NAS server with 2x2TB drives in RAID0 mode and was running out of space. So I needed some redundancy and way more storage space for Linux ISO's.The original NAS was based on an Intel Atom mini-ITX board with two SATA ports powered by Intel's ICH7 controller, which at the time of purchase was not confirmed to support 2TB+ drives, so I had to find a new board. This board is an excellent choice for a FreeNAS based build. I have built a FreeNAS box using this board with a Core i3 CPU and six 3TB WD green drives in Lian-Li Q08B case. The drives are configured in ZFS RAID5 mode (RAID-Z). The SATA controller has to be configured to run in AHCI mode to support 3TB drives.
