Ran Quiet, Cool, Fantastic Size for my Case, Civ 5 and DCUO looked fantastic. Full Repeated Method crashes with EQ2. Brought on screen to take on a fractured look and Blue Screen. I had all the updated drivers, DX and Bios...I have due to the fact uninstalled and place my 8800 GTS back in and no problems at all, so unless there is some conflict with the card (which I could come across no proof of..), there is some issue with it. I am waiting on a response from HIS on my tech support request. The bummer of it is that I did not try to play EQ2 till following my New Egg RMA time frame expired. So, I guess I will have to cross my fingers that HIS has very good consumer help.

Excellent card to say the least. Can run just about anything I throw at it at max settings and at 45 fps. Even though my CPU holds it back a lot. Simple to overclock, the drivers have no difficulties.Quite quiet, never ever over heats even OC'd. Possibly reach 44 degrees Celsius under complete load, fan speed never reaches more than 45%. When I bought my card there was a 15$ rebate advertised for it. I never received anything, not a mail-in, an e mail, nothing. This is a manufacturer factor, and no way hinders my opinion on the card itself. It is a relatively thick card, so those wanted to crossfire but have Micro ATX boards, I don't propose this card, but for those who have huge boards and a sizeable case, go for it.

low cost, 5770 is a decent graphics chip Kills CrossFire - this big fat mama takes three Ɠ!) slots total and will cover up two adjacent 16x PCIe slots, proficiently making bridging with the crossfire connector impossible. I have a Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD4 micro atx motherboard and this graphics card leaves only 1 PCI slot open soon after installation. The earlier generation of HIS 4850 IceQ cards did not have this form aspect limitation. box was previously opened - appears an individual else had comparable practical experience and shipped it back to NewEgg just like I will in near future.

The HD 5770 is a great card. It play's all my games beautifully and I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for it.I am upgrading from an HD 4830 that was having troubles and I returned, but I had sufficient time to run a couple of benchmarks. 3dmark06 score with the 4830 was 9868, and with the 5770 it was 13858. Thats a 40% improvement in score. In Business of Heroes: Tales of Valor, I got a 6fps improvement across the board, and I get around 32 minimum ࿖ average) on Ultra at 1440x900, with 8X AA.To me I could not have asked for a better card for my use. I am not a heavy Pc gamer, but I like to have it when it counts. Its effective, has DX11, and is crossfire-able if I decide I require more power in the future. Its rather massive, but I expected that, and my motherboard (ASRock M3A770DE) is set up with additional space so I don't block any ports. Very good power and price, looks fantastic, makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. I have never had a "high" end card. I utilized to game on my laptop with a Geforce 9600gs 1gb, which got the job performed but not a quite.

Affordable for the performance Had this card 30 minutes ahead of it FRIED my Entire computer system. 650watt OCZ PSU, Asus MoBo, 6gb DDR3 Corsair, AMD 965 Black. This card was supposed to replace my GTS 250 Geforce card......now im replacing 1100 dollars in components. Ive in no way had this come about with a video card. Period. I've had this for nearly four months now and I've knowledgeable no issues whatsoever. It will max out Undesirable Company 2, Black Ops, and most other games with my Q9300 @ 3Ghz. Doesn't get to hot, hovers about 40C at idle and 60C at load. It's hard to tell by newegg's photographs, but the cooler is not sealed. Most of the hot air escapes out into the case, and the slots reduce out on the back are pointless as the cowl is not sealed in that region. HIS's refund is nonetheless not right here, the process requires forever! My case (NZXT Lexa S) has quite nice airflow, so this was not a problem for me. But you must make positive you have great airflow if you intend to use this card.

This card blows my old one particular away. Eyefinity was a breeze to setup. I also love the 7.1 hdmi surround sound functions. Can run any game I have attempted so far on Ultra High. (Metro 2033, Fallout New Vegas, and so on...) Following a couple of mods to my technique I had no lag at all and I am presently operating on an older phenom I quad core. Maxed anything in Team Fortress two and the card doesn't even seems to be bothered. - Installation was a mess, had MS Visual Studio express 2010 installed on my desktop. There was a driver conflict and it was impossible to resolve. Had to reinstall the complete factor. Somehow, I've heard it's frequent with graphic cards. i have had it for a although, and this is my update. i removed the plastic cover, i in fact get better temps with it off. i have it overclocked to the max core clock, max voltage, and the ram is at 1366. it maxes out at 60 degrees with furmark. i get 25-40 fps with bfbc2 operating at high every thing, 1xaa, 16x antiscoptric, HBAO on at 1080p lol rebate. i accidently closed the browser and couldnt resume, so now i cant get my rebate. i emailed them and they mentioned speak with a live agent. not gonna take place one hundred% fan speed is slightly audible, but i can live with it. it runs quiet

COMES WITH CROSSFIRE BRIDGE!!! I have an XFX 5770 Juniper, but that didn't come with crossfire bridge. It lets you underclock it significantly which is excellent for individuals getting this card as a future proof htpc card. Underclock now, whilst you don't will need the horsepower, and then bring it back up when your applications demand it. wish it came with a display port cable or hdmi cable. but meh, not as well poor to dock eggs. Crossfireing 2 5770 is MONSTER. overclock them and KAZAAM, your quite a lot at a 5870 speeds, if not greater. I purchased this simply because a 5870 would be as well long for my case, and it would KILL my airflow if i stuffed it in. Don't be afraid to crossfire, its amazing. just play in fullscreen to make use of it. oh and don't thoughts if you have a pci-e two. slot that runs on x8 or x4. You would want TWO pci-e x16 for maximum bandwidth, but a pci-e 2.0x8 speed only docks 1-three% performance and x4 only docks down 4-8% efficiency AT THE MOST. I crossfire with pci-e two. x16 and x4. ANd for fun, i borrowed my pals 5870 and mobo(crosshair IV) and played around a bit. two 5770 in x16x4 only took about 6%hit from x16x16. and when overclocked, it was a bit faster than stock x16x16 and Seriously close to a 5870. so yeah, crossfire away on any board that supports it!!!

This card has been running with no challenges. It is quiet and has no heat challenges at all. At this price I really want to get a different and give crossfire a shot. none so far I am genuinely seeking forward to trying out Eyefinity, not confident if it is a gimick or not, but it is great obtaining a card that is effective adequate to do a thing like that without having completly destroying fps
