Great steady card with 11.three drivers from AMD. I only occasionally play games and don't have a huge monitor so this card is fine for my desires at this time. The lifetime warranty was also a large plus for me. Reference ATI cooling solution. It runs a tiny on the hot side, and is a little noisy beneath load due to the smaller fan. It's acceptable though, idles at 40-42 C. Had to RMA the first card. It kept crashing - just a blank screen (usually grey) and at times lines - had to reboot. At first it crashed during benchmark tests. As it heated up it would crash with just Firefox open. Attempted diverse driver versions; removing by way of programs in Win 7, rebooted then used driver sweeper. Attempted in AMD technique, crashed Windows. Newegg replaced the card and it functions great. Make sure to register inside 30 days for the lifetime warranty. Otherwise it will be only two years.

True single bay card, no protruding heatsink or fan, no need to have for PCIe energy connector, GDDR5, 128-bit (which is decent sufficient), a whopping 1GB of memory which is quit a bit at this cost variety, pairs nicely with the AMD 870 chipset. Not 256-bit. Oh well. I have been searching the web over for a single bay card for weeks now, and I lastly located this one particular. I've got a PCIe x1 card straight above and straight beneath my PCIe x16 slot which I cannot do with no, so I required an ATI card this size (my nVidia card wasn't playing nice with my AMD 870 board). This fit best, and it's clocked way larger than my old 9800GT. All the graphical problems I had are gone, and I nevertheless get to keep my PCIe x1 cards. Hallelujah!

I be concerned about XFX's construct top quality. Newegg paid for the shipping back on the 2nd DOA card and gave a complete refund, so complete marks to them for their good customer service.

Incredibly very good card. Wonderful graphics at a incredibly reasonable value. Worth the income and was even greater with a ฮ rebate. Running this on a water-cooled system and the shorter length of the graphics card tends to make it easier to clear the cooling lines. XFX makes fantastic cards. I have owned several of their cards and I always appear to gravitate back to their goods for some cause. The only one that I had was that this card has 1 DVI port and the card it replaced had two for running dual displays. I guess that means I have to get yet another and SLI them collectively to get my dual displays working suitable. NEWEGG always rocks. Their service and delivery is second to none!

Later generation which presents assistance for DX 11Shader model assistance latestDDR 5 memory1 GB (although with a 128 bus it doesn't matter actually)Great nameFan is quietCard appears coolfits into case simply to replace the Radeon 5450 that came with the IBUYPOWER gaming Pc I bought. Advise that hugely as well.Fan noise is no biggie. 128 bus tends to make the 1 GB memory imply more in the specs than in the efficiency.I have no true cons. It is a wonderful card for an individual who wants to get solid overall performance with higher settings even though becoming on a price range. It may possibly not me sufficient to satisfy a difficult core enthusiast. But when I saw I could play Crysis on all higher settings at quite solid resolution it was all I needed. Plus understanding I could play DX 11 games when they come out even if I wont at the top settings. I can now play present titles on fairly impressive settings and nonetheless have a relevant card when DX 11 rolls out. I know I wont be capable to turn those to the highest settings, but I will play them at acceptable rates and almost certainly mid settings. Good enough. Which is why I chose this a single more than the 4850 which is stated to be soooo much fasted=r and a greater deal. If I only cared about now, it would. But when DX 111 comes out i wont need to get an additional. card

Single slot, low energy consumption, quiet, great for medium setting games, excellent price, no extra power connection necessary. Super fast shipping...way to go Newegg!! Not free of charge. I purchased this for a Dell Optiplex Pc that necessary a video upgrade. This will not be a gaming Pc, far more like a HTPC using the HDMI to Television, but wanted to see the overall performance. We all know that Dell does not place a incredibly strong energy provide in their Computer's, so this filled the bill. I logged into my steam account and downloaded my games and they all played completely. I tried l4d1, l4d2, cod4 and five, mw2. Set to medium/high and they played excellent, no stutters. Fantastic fundamental video card. Specs:Dell Optiplex GX620, 4Gb Dell RAM, 500Gb WD HD, Radeaon HD 5670, Win 7 Pro, a basic Dell Optiplex GX620.

The largest con was drivers problem which took away a single egg, but three hours of acquiring pis sed off was entirely worth it. It showed me factors in the games i had under no circumstances even observed before. WoW on 60fps, League of Legends on 80fps, ALL ON HIGHEST Good quality SETTINGS AND 1080P. Its entirely worth the dollars, and the time installing the drivers. Runs quietly ,much additional quietly than my external really hard drives. The manual fan and over clocking handle is awesome. Just want to learn all the other tech babble and adjustments that i can make. I DEFO recommend it. OM G THE DRIVERS!!!!!!!!!!!! Took me 3 hours to get it to operate. If you are going to use the HDMI cable then be prepared for some big sh it. The card gets HOT.... I read individuals writing that ahead of i purchased it and i believed oooo it cant be that poor, but seriously , i plugged it in , 3 mins later i touched it and it was hotter than my tough drives or CPU which had been running for like a week :p. So yea, it gets HOT HOT HOT. Doesnt come with the cables. Excellent factor i study that so i odered the HDMI cable ahead of the card came. SERIOUSLY XFX, you can spend like five bucks and consist of two cables!!! I installed through the CD and anything went fine, till i rebooted, i logged on my account and 4 or 5 minutes later it crased, and it kept doing that everytime I restarted. I reinstalled the drivers anything like five times. No enable. Then i uninstalled all the drivers, went back to my onboard card, installed only the DRIVER from the site NOT the catalyst control center. Rebooted and went to bios, changed the prefference of the graphics from onboard to PCIEx16, rebooted again and plugged in the HDMI cable. This time lastly i didnt crash, but the screen didnt fit my monitor, so i downloaded the catalyst control center from the web site and in the custom install unchecked the most current driver reinstall, which i dont know was the challenge or not, i'll fidget with it when i have the time, but immediately after that, everthing worked..... So yea, it was tought, and annoying, and pis sed me off, but it was worth it.

It is 1 of the quite most highly effective cards that will fit a single slot. It is significantly a lot more than you could ever want for just a home theater set up and it is actually a fantastic card and I like XFX from what I have had and seasoned with them. I only took of 1 egg since it is a lot more high-priced than other 5670 cards with 1gb of ddr5 but it I got it for the size, other 5670 cards are dual slot cards. The only other con is that it is not a 5770 I wanted the XFX 5770 single slot card but could not see spending extra income for a card that has no hdmi and has a show port. I do not own something that has a show port or ever even utilized one. Nothing I have ever found is a better single slot answer for this value

I posted an earlier overview in which I gave the card 1 star for becoming defective. Upon exchanging the card the replacement has been fantastic. It runs games surprisingly properly for getting low profile and possessing no need for additional power. Absolutely a fantastic budget card for restricted gaming and productivity. None, almost everything is now operating as it really should. I need to have bought a GTS450 although they had been on sale for the duration of Black Friday. I saw some deals in the sub ๪ variety.

Purchased two of these, pondering Crossfire X.Alone, a single card looks fantastic, no difficulties, extremely excellent price for functions.Fine card if you're only acquiring 1 of them.Extremely energy-friendly: doesn't need to have a energy cable from energy provide as it gets all its juice from the PCI-E slot (two x 16X, on my mobo). No complaints operating a single card. Terrible vertical artifacting the very first couple days when I attempted any games with each cards Crossfire'd together. No Go on XFX tech support- they offer the similar Catalyst drivers that the AMD/ATI website does.AMD/ATI tech support says they only certified Sapphire cards in Crossfire X in addition to their own AMD/ATI stock.Soon after reinstalling every single game only soon after several attempts at mobo BIOS and the video card drivers did the problem go away. But existing Catalyst software program ྪ.ten) does not enable you to manually select which Crossfire mode to run XFX cards, so says AMD/ATI.Really should've carried out my homework a small far better, probably should've spent a small a lot more cash for the Sapphire or AMD/ATI stock cards. Very good card by itself, wallet friendly, Newegg got it to my front door in barely half the shipping time I paid for (paid for 3 days, got shipment in just over 24 hours),but the cards proved far also complex to get functioning effectively in Crossfire, even if so far they are functioning fine now.I hope XFX gets their issues resolved so AMD/ATI will certify their cards also.

Low profile, quiet, HDMI & DVI out, additional than powerfull adequate for higher-def motion pictures. HDMI show output to my 55" Samsung LED backlit LCD Tv appears inferior to my DVI to VGA conection to the Tv. I purchased this card especially for a new HTPC construct and wanted to use the HDMI output. My old prior HTPC could only connect through VGA. I was very disapointed to see that, following a fresh install of Win 7 X64 Ultimate and all up-to-date drivers, the HDMI display was inferior to the DVI to VGA connection to my Television. Admittedly this is the initially Computer I've constructed that I have used HDMI output, and right after undertaking some Googling and Television and Catalyst Control Center tweaking I have managed to get it to appear a small bit much better but still not as excellent as the VGA show. The HDMI from my Blu-ray player looks great, but not from this video card.My believed is that the HDMI ought to look excellent out of the box but I've been disapointed. I will spend a lot more time tweaking and researching but until I can uncover a option (if there is 1) I'll nevertheless be making use of the aged VGA connection.

Uncomplicated installation/Lower Energy Consumption. I attempted most of the CCC drivers from the last 10 builds ྪ.1-10.11) and anytime I had Windows Aero enabled upon resizing and moving windows around it would freeze the screen and I was forced to tough reset the Computer. Even with Aero disabled 2D efficiency was sluggish. I attempted manually bumping up the 2D clock speeds at numerous values and even at 775mhz Aero would crash the machine. I replaced the card with an xfx 5770 I have in a different Computer and it was comprehensive smooth sailing without having any of the aforementioned problems, as a result proving the 5670 was at fault. Running Windows 7 Enterprise 64-Bit. I was unable to discover any individual else in a variety of xfx/amd forums who had the very same problem. I'm awaiting my replacement from the business I purchased it from and hopefully it was just a fluke and the next one will work fine. I run a AMD Phenom II 965BE setup on a Gigabyte 870A-UD3 motherboard and 550 watt Ultra PSU.

Exact same as prior to Same as prior to Note on installation:Forgot to mention this. This info would be valuable for anybody upgrading a related Dell unit to what I have.Installing the card was a tiny tricky. I opened the case, popped it in, and hooked the monitor and energy back up per the enclosed guidelines and turned it back on. I couldn't get a signal to the monitor. If I applied the HDMI or the DVI on the card I didn't get any signal and if I reverted back to the HDMI or VGA hookups for integrated video on the back of the Pc, I nevertheless couldn't get any signal.A single might believe the card was DOA.I pulled the card back out and discovered some instructions on the net that you want to disable the integrated video show adaptor in device manager. There is no option in the BIOS to disable integrated vid for these Dell models. If you disable the display adaptor in device manager, the screen will go to incredibly fundamental resolution/graphics equivalent to protected mode. Then when you place the card in, it will default to the card.

Really happy. None so far Some people claim it is hard to set up or runs hot but I had no issue hooking it up and installing drivers off the ati internet site and as extended as you have a decent case with a couple of fans its quiet and heat is no challenge at all. Maybe as an alternative of claiming the card is junk or defective you must have pro or knowledgeable person set up the hardware and drivers...that way you dont have an issue and deter men and women from purchasing a incredibly good low priced graphics card.
