Reference card has extremely great efficiency per $ compared to nVidia. If you want triple monitor gaming, like me, have to go AMD/ATI. XFX does in reality have a history of denying claims. I have not skilled it personally. But 1 friend, and a co-worker both have had a claim denied by XFX when it was certainly a manufacturing defect. It takes something I throw at it and laughs. It stays cool even under "heavy" workloads. Once again.. I havent been able to challenge this card yet.. 1) Study the other posts.. when they say this point is huge.. They Imply It! I have a larg atx case and I barely got it in.two) The fan on this card is loud..although quite productive, I come across it a tiny destracting how loud it is when it kicks up. This is with a sound insulated case.. Check the size of this card, if you have a mid tower this may possibly not match. Just be ready to be suprised.. by the overall performance.. by the size of the card.. and by the fan when it kicks on..lol. |

UPS shipping,and Newegg did a excellent job. Reside in central Alabama. Ordered Tuesday Evening ofcourse, got it Friday.With the vacation shipping visitors i was rather amazed & suprised. The HD 6970 oc'd to the Overdrive's max of 950. Completely stable on FOLV,MOH so far.Set Power Control to the Max. All good, looks great. Appear to own playing MOH a lil' a lot more usually. I can get the drop on the younger shooters now. Incredibly satisfied w/ the card. Look forward to OC'ing with the updated tools soon. Will sell this, like I do all my cards win the next AMD card comes out. Double Lifetime warranty is a large selling point for me,&whoever ends up purchasing from me later. I genuinely like the card. wow..... runs everything i throw at it in 1080p with out a hitch no slow downs. flawless. I wouldnt advocate purchasing much more then 1 unless you are trying to run 3+ monitors its just not necessary. it wasnt cost-free heavy heavy heavy and takes two pcie power cords eightƴ not seriously a con i guess its just the nature of the beast should come with some sort of bracket cus it looks like it sags a bit in my antec 1200 case lol the gpu is so major i cant put my hdd in the adjacent bay not a massive deal seeing as i have eight far more spots i can put it |

Quickly card. Handles all the games i can push it with. ONLY At stock speeds. None so far, the unit I recieved was defective out of the box. In one particular method it triggered reboots and crashes and in the other method it caused poor overall performance, worse than a GTX 460 768Mb. I'm dissapointed in XFX and I'm hoping that the replacement I get from Newegg is operating. The card I recieved was defective and had poor frame rate, ran particularly hot and caused program instability. I've never ever knowledgeable these difficulties before in a video card, I've been constructing systems for 15 years or better. The dual BIOS on the card was also switched to the unstable BIOS when I got the card, but even immediately after changing this setting I still got poor overall performance and crashes. I tested it in two systems, one with a 650 watt PSU and an additional with a 850 watt PSU. It's not the systems it's just a negative card. I will update my overview once I get the replacement card from Newegg.
